Marco and the WB pirates for Yonkou! But yeah everything so far leads to Big Mom being the first Yonkou that Luffy will fight, however what if when Luffy and co fight her they don't win and something else happens?

If she ends up being defeated though I believe Kid might get her spot? I don't know it's hard to guess and I as well don't believe any of the Supernovas are currently strong enough to be considered to be apart of the 4 Emperors. ( Again, Marco for Emperor!) :ninja:

His ability isnt really fit for all out battle. Its insanely useful but doesnt yield much destructive force. Would be a different story if he was a Haki master as well but I highly doubt it because again, he couldnt hold off Akainu.

Sad..but true. I do agree with you. Would have been good if he was able to throw fireballs or something like that but then I guess he would have been overpowered. I really like the WB pirates (Marco and Ace being my favourite characters) but sadly I think they will only feature for a bit in the story by helping Luffy and that's it..I really hated Oda for making them look like a pathetic crew during the War Arc :sad:

Clearly he can use haki to a high leve, but its just that Akainu's was clearly alot stronger than his.
I rue the fact that Oda didn't make his 'blue flames' really fire, it coulda been restricted so it wasn't too much like Ace.

You're wrong bro, they did remarkably well. Don't forget that the Marines plus the Shichibukai are supposed to be as strong as the Yonko - yes, all four of them, together. That is the balance between the 3 great powers.

So even if you consider that some Shichibukai weren't doing their job (Jinbe, Hancock and Blackbeard mostly), the outcome of the war was still obvious… There's no way a single emperor could have taken out all of the Marines plus Mihawk, Doflamingo, Kuma and Moriah.

If anything, the war showed us how frick'n powerful mere commanders of WB pirates were.
Each of his commanders are in the top tiers, can go toe to toe with Shichibukai, and few of them can go head to head with Admirals.

How can you possibly take home the notion that they were "pathetic" from that arc?

Whitebeard could've taken out the whole freakin' place by his own if he wanted to but he clearly couldn't do that since he wasn't alone and had to watch out for people. The whole crew wasn't able to go all out since chaos started to spread and various things happened that distracted them (Ace's life being at danger, Akainu plotting behind the scenes etc etc). One can hardly call it a fair battle given the circumstances. Point is- calling them pathetic in any shape or form is plain wrong.

Who does everyone think is the first Yonkou to be taken down/replaced? I'd place my bet on Big Mom, since she was finally introduced (albeit unclearly) in the plot not so long ago, and seems to be the potential target of the Law/Luffy alliance. It seems that in the near-future (perhaps the next arc, or even at the end of the current one) she will make an appearance somehow and engage in combat with the SHs. Defeating her, or even going face-to-face with her will surely be a testament to Luffy's growth over the timeskip, so I'm really looking forward to their encounter.

By process of elimination and looking at the other three, Shanks seems like he will be one of the last Yonkou to go; I predict that near the end of the plot he will be defeated by BB, to which Luffy reacts by defeating him. BB has just newly been appointed a Yonkou thus most likely to retain the title for the longest (based on assumptions of age, potential future growth etc.) and as I mentioned will probably be the last of the Yonkou defeated. As for Kaidou we really know nothing about him, although there was that conflict (the extent of which is unknown) with X-Drake pre-timeskip. I personally think that X-Drake is currently serving under Kaidou (3 possibilities. One, they fought, Drake got defeated and was forced to serve under him. Two, the reason Drake sought him out in the first place was to form an alliance/make a pledge to serve under Kaidou. Three, Drake was Kaidou's subordinate to begin with, even before he defected from the Marines, just like how Vergo is to Doflamingo). I don't think Luffy and the SHs will take him down - instead, one of the other possible supernovas (possibly the Kid/Apoo/Hawkins alliance) are aiming to take him down.

Speaking of which, we do not know the real motives of the possible Kid/Apoo/Hawkins alliance but we can assume that their purpose too is to take down a Yonkou, and a showdown between the K/A/H alliance and possibly some of the other Supernovas (X-Drake amongst others) will be interesting.

So as I said before, I think Big Mom will be the first Yonkou to be defeated and possibly relinquishing the title to someone else. But more importantly, who do you think will replace the first Yonkou to be defeated? If the alliances somehow do succeed in bringing one down, there would be major conflict as to who would succeed the fallen Yonkou and there would be inner conflict amongst the alliance, since from what we have been shown so far none of the Supernovas are fond of working under another. Moreover, it would largely upset the balance of power in the world, since the newly appointed Yonkou would probably be the weakest one of the four (purely based on assumption; I just don't think any of the Supernovas are quite up to par with the current Yonkou as of yet). What do you think?

To be fair Whitebeard was the first however Big mom is based on a chinese pirate and the japenese don't like the chinese so she is going to be first for luffy to take down.

We never saw Curiel's fight with Moria, but it's obvious they disengaged at some point, because Moria was one-shotted shortly after by Jinbe, and then ran into the back alleys to hide from Doflamingo trying to kill him.

I don't think specifics are necessary. The entire Straw Hat crew was incapacitated by a single Admiral (Aokiji). Later on, Kizaru defeated four Supernovae simultaneously without breaking a sweat, and could have done the same to the Straw Hats if not for Rayleigh. The WB Pirates were clearly the strongest pirate crew we have observed in battle thus far.

If Big Mom comes out to be Lola's Mom, the Straw Hats get it the easy way out with their first Yonkou. I think it is likely, other than the "similarities" between Big Mom and Lola and Lola mentioning her mother is a famous New World pirate, we did take a sudden shift of focus to Doflamingo in this saga.

If Kaido turns out to be Franky's dad, then the Straw Hats get it the easy way out again.

If Shanks dies before the series ends (really, Ace wouldn't be the only one actually dying in present time), then the Straw Hats have it the easy way out again.

Hmm..For some reason I don't think BM is Lola's mother. She seems really cruel and Lola wasn't. I know this doesn't prove anything of course but it's just a feeling I have

They might not get the easy way out if Kaido is Franky's dad. IIRC, Franky's parents abandoned him without a second thought.

True, which is why I'd like to see them again. Several of them seemed really cool, but never got the spotlight.

I really want to see them soon! Not only because they are cool but I'm just really interested in what is happening with them and how Marco is handling everything (if he is) Hopefully we will get to see them in the next arc or something :wub:

And as for my other statement that Oda made them look pathetic I kind of didn't write it properly. It was just that, in my eyes they didn't do much in the War. It was said that they are the strongest pirate crew but we didn't see much of that ( in my opinion ) Marco didn't feature much, Jozu as well. But yeah..maybe I'm just mad that Ace was killed haha :sad:

If she had the candy fruit, why would they have factories to make candy? They could turn it into a waste management planet and she could eat dog turds and they'd still be candy. During her interaction with Luffy and her own crew, she hinted strongly at her fruit having to do with digestion or stomach acid. My prediction is that she's an Acid Logia. I mean, we've had Poison (even though this was a paramecia), Gas and Smoke, so why not Acid, too?

Marco was the only person to harm all of the admirals. He kicked all of them very effectively, thou no serious injuries were dealt to any of them.
-Luffy, WB, Marco, and Buggy were the only ones to confront all of the admirals.
Moriah fought Jinbe before he fought Curiel.

Marco & Jozu allowed themselves to be distracted and ended up getting taken out….that was their mistake...and plus - if Joz had been in full diamond form...being completely frozen wouldn't even be an issue for him.

Well, we got the joy of seeing the Yeti Cool Brothers fight…Granted big mom seems way bigger, but we saw them pull off some pretty crazy things as giants (like moving extremely fast).

It doesn't seem like she will because if she does it would seemingly be an acid fruit and considering the moku-moku no mi and the gasu-gasu no mi it would be redundant. I would hope though that one of the Yonkou has a logia (one w/ intangibility unlike BB's fruit) or mythical zoan. Then again Oda could be showing they don't ALL need incredible fruits to be strong like Shanks. Still I'm hoping maybe Kaidou has an earth/rock logia though considering he seems to be a cyborg that would be a little odd.

I still think Kaido(u)'s going to be:

–A dwarf; since dwarfs exist in One Piece, according to the "Human Auction House" list of prices. (His favorite island is also a island of snow and mountain--usually, the 'natural habitat' of dwarves in most fantasy).

--Have a rock Logia (because dwarves literally live in rock, and worship stone) or a Paramecia, that, allows him to construct--in no time--anything his imagination can think up (because dwarves like to build, and are expert builders). Such a power--the building from imagination one I mentioned--isn't as overpowered (or "hax") as it may seem; a similar power was seen in Fairy Tail (yes I went there), and it worked perfectly. He could even simply be a very strong Haki user like Shanks, and, use a very high-tech suit (and gadgets) similar to Don Krieg.

--Will be located in an huge underground, technology-fueled city. We have yet to see such a 'biome' in One Piece, and it would be quite a cool one; coming from the mind of Oda especially.

--Have a sci-fi + technology (possibly steampunk) based crew (i.e. favorite island, from the brief glimpse we have of it, looks similar to Vegapunk's home island, and, the more important subordinate we've been introduced to is a cyborg dressed in steampunk-esque attire). Big Mam seems to have a fantasy + fairy tale based crew, and Kaido(u) could be the counter to that. Kinda-sorta like Blackbeard and Shanks are counters of each other; Blackbeard and crew being the OLDER EVIL STRAWHAT'S, and Shanks and crew being the OLDER GOOD STRAWHAT'S--or so, that's the feeling I'm getting.

I would find it rather interesting if Kaidou had some sort of Metal Logia that allowed him to transform into various machines and attack with numerous weapons while being extremely sturdy. If CC's Gas Gas fruit can allow him to become any gas a Metal Metal fruit would be incredibly versatile with all of the different types of metal.

I don't believe he would. Most devil fruits that deal with solids are paramecia as shown so far with Daz Bones (Mr. 0), Jozu, etc.

With his technology theme it would be feasible for him to be the ultimate cyborg using an infinite amount of metals and the special properties many of them have. Keep in mind there are "liquid metals" he could possibly transform into as well and even of course gaseous metals (much more rare and situational). Infinite electricity conducting could very well be a byproduct of creating infinite metals that conduct electricity extremely well making him possibly even a Technology Logia of sorts.

Granted this would make Kid his natural enemy.

I like this idea, it would fit better than Kaidou having a rock logia (which I think will appear somewhere in the NW).

Interesting, a kind of metals which not solid, sure is a logia material. I like this theory.

Now it reminds me of that enemy robot in Terminator 2.

What are you talking about? CC is a logia and is the boss of this arc. Doflamingo's the mastermind, but CC is definitely the arc boss.

For that matter, even though Doflamingo has been shown to have some sort of string DF, it's possible he could be a string logia, as weird as that sounds. Something like Jolyne Kujo's powers…
