sry sry didn`t find the old thread about "what will be the one piece"–-gives me 500 searching results cause this words are in every post:wassat:

but anyway so i couldnt check it up but i have a theory and want to tell it and i dont remember this explanation ever heard in this way ....:getlost:

one piece is called to be the key to glory,wealth and honor...(in german translation at least)
so it is a key we are already told(everybody thought at the beginning cause of a huge treasure)...who have all this ....for me a king has all this 3 things....so I came to the ancient kingdom...this will mean that the OP is the key to be the king of this ancient kingdom and so to his return...
we know that the Ds are descendant of this lost kingdom....(really close to be sure ) so one reason why nobody so far could reach the OP is cause you must be a "D" (know already said thousand times before) so that shows ,that the OP is just the legitimation to be the new king who will overthrow the WG and to be the one who rule the new "pirate" era... so i believe Gol .D just leave on unikon -the rioporneglyph(kay not he himself but the end of this story will be told their) -and the key (?? dont know what exactly this could be right now??) to restore the ancient kingdom and his power....

If indeed the Rio Poneglyph is on Raftel then it is probably One Piece itself. Think about it. The WG went through all kinds of hell trying to kill anyone who could read it, not to mention what Crocodile went through just to read a single one. The Rios probably got all sorts of secrets that the WG wouldn't want to get out, ridiculously powerful battleships just part of it. It would also explain why Nico Robin joined. Because did the SHs really need a historian?

donquichotte, your post is a bit confusing, could you repost it in german? it's my second mother tongue so maybe it will be clearer then. du verstehst eh, das nur weil es ein schluessl zu etwas genannt wird, es nicht unbedingt ein schluessel sein soll. es war anfangs keine anspielung zu was das one piece eigentlich ist, es wurde bloss gemeint das wenn man das one piece hat, man dann reichtum macht und ruhm besitzt.

also, "legitimation to be the king" king of what? there is nothing left to be king of, the one piece is most likely goign to be an important message left behind by Gol D., along with some of his treasure, possibly left in an underground cavern that is also the All Blue. It's possible that te message can only be understood by a D., but it just very likely isn't legitimation, rather just finally some proof about the evil of the WG

but Gol.D said that he has somewhere hidden his huge traesure…but the rioporneglyph is not from him...so what does he left on raftel so that he could say that everyone should search after his great treasure,,,
so in my theorie it`s in any form a "key" how the person who could handle to go to raftel could also handle to crush the WG and become some kind of "king" of the new era..which means the old ancient kingdom will get back his lost power...

One Piece is nothing but the whole thing of doing what Roger did: Crossing the Grand Line and arriving to Rafter in One Piece…..

PS: I think Roger took something with him to the thomb. Who knows, maybe the key to what he fought for (surely something that messed up with the Government) is something insignificant that nobody would mind to leave with his corpse....

I think its fitting that his reply and the question was "where's all your treasure" / "my treasure." I say this because I get the impression that Gol D. Roger places his treasure on something outside of gold and wealth. Just as Luffy treasures his strawhat.

If this is the case, GDRoger's treasure can be adventure itself.

With Oda's thorough research + audience anticipation, I wonder if Oda's inspiration to this ancient civilization has its roots with Atlantis. A great civilization with technology above the fathomable of its time. In a literal sense, I can't see the kingdom being 'restored'.

I have no clue what it is, but I'm sure it'll be what's needed to end the current era and start a new one. Just change the structure of the world completely.

after he was executed? as if the marines didn't somehow search him before or after? just figured, this is Gold Roger, it's unlikely for him to have something important on him?

The Rio Poneglyph is the completed message. On Raftel.

Fishman Island could be a reference to Atlantis, but considering that the inhabitants naturally live underwater, it would make sense for the island to be submerged anyway, especially since the mer-people do not gain legs until they are thirty (assuming that the same rule applies to the mermen).

yeah but all the signs so far let us speculate to this…but its just a theorie and i doesnt see it as a proven fact...

i doesn`t mean it in the way that the kingdom will be back and than they rule the world….just their thoughts and ideals will be back in this new era...and the one who brings them back will be the new pirateking cause he will get the "key" (=one piece=) so that the WG could be destroyed...
maybe something so that all the people on the OP-world will chance their mind and their opinion to the WG...(and for sure knowing about the lost history)
