Hmm…well I've watched a lot of anime but I've only seen a select few's endings. And I have to say that the ending for each anime I've seen is awesome. I mean, it's not like repetetive (I don't have spell check right now. XD) or anything like that. They've all been pretty original.

The only way One Piece will end in a horrible way is if it ends before the manga is finished or keeps going after the manga is finished.

For such a perfect show to end without really ending would be devastating.
Oda said that he had the ending planned out before he even started the series, and that he's still planning on using the ending he originally planned, so I don't think we have to worry. The only problem is, when a series has been running for so long, people would propably have extremely high expectations for the end, and that might make it dissappointing, but considering how well-written the story has been until now, it will propably have a good ending too.

Yeah, I agree. DBGT has a great ending. But so does Euerka Seven, though that might be 'cause I'm a hopeless romantic. XD

I don't see why people hate the ending of DBZ. I mean, I can understand the crap that leads up to it, but the ending was fine.
Well if the Japanese keep watching One Piece for another 10 years or so, we will get the ending Oda wanted, so it will be a good ending. If ratings drop and Toei end it, it will probably be disappointing.

One Piece anime is too much popular in Japan to end without a proper ending, unlike Inuyasha, Bo-bobo and others..
I mean, you have Bleach getting 1/3 of OP's ratings and still going strong, no ending in sight.
I dont think One Piece will end ubruptly.
Ill tell you this though, if it keeps going on for another 10 years it will end abruptly. At least the anime anyway.

Uh? Sorry, it's not…by a LONG shot. Bleach's ratings are around 2.5%~3.5%, while OP is usually 8.0%~10%.
They were never higher than OP, btw. I think i saw Bleach in the top 10 only one or two times this year, while OP is always top 5..
I doubt it actually. Toei has kept up with the series and it's well into it's 300's. If they weren't planning on going all the way I don't think they'd be putting this much effort into it. The only way I see it turning bad is if business hit happens and they have to stop the series.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is up considerably this year and thats likely because of the rebirth of the series. I cant really say we’ve watched all but 30+ of the listed titles, Velcor has probably watched most of it. This could become a nice Otaku challenge just like watching the top 100 films on IMDB. Well, It's not my fault. I originally thought as GOTY did; (except for the wrong parts) but Crossbones said that One Piece was doing extremelly poorly during Enis Lobby, a few months ago. So that's what I based my stance upon.
