What do you think is the best English dubbed anime?
Personally I'm gonna go with Cowboy Bebop.
Number 2 is probably Fullmetal Alchemist.

Sadly, my anime is limited to CN, but Im gonna go with Cowboy Bebop Yu Yu Hakusho and Konjiki no Gash

FLCL had an EXCELLENT dub.

Fruits Basket is a great one, as is Big O. Berserk also ranks among the best.

I like dub Bebop better than the original.
Originals still excellent though….
But....theres more variety in the english voice-types. -

RuroKen, FLCL, YuYu Hakusho. Berserk was brilliant too, griffith, guts and caska were dead on, and a minor character was voiced by goku. ^_^

Currently the best dubs are the Miyazaki movies, since Disney has the money to hire big-time actors and the english scripts are very well written. Mostly thanks to the fact that John Lasseter (a friend of Miyazaki's) oversees all the Ghibli productions.
In terms of small-time anime, the best (IMHO) are:

I like Cowboy Bebop, that one was pretty decent.
I'm also gonna have to say KO Beast was good… and now, I get to watch people boggle at what the heck that is. Wah.. damn you, obscurity...

Cowboy Bebop had a decent dub, even if I wasn't impressed with any of the female voice actresses I heard for it.
Lupin III has a very entertaining dub, both the old one and the new one.
Hellsing, aside from Crispin Freemen, has a very good dub, I actually prefer it to the original Japanese track and would watch the dub exclusively except for the fact that I just can't stand Freeman's work on that one.
FLCL has a great dub, too, I honestly don't care which version I watch for that one. Really unusual for me.
Just about anything by Madhouse is pretty good, like Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, and the like. Wasn't terrifically impressed by what I heard for the Trigun dub, but I didn't watch a lot of it.
The Miyazaki dubs are pretty good, too.

I don't usually listen to dubs, only if it's my only option… but some good ones I've heard are Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist (a couple voices suck, but the quality overall is surprisingly good). Obviously the Miyazaki movies are always high quality.
I recently gave the Berserk dub a second shot, and you know... it was great. Even the lame secondary characters had some voicing talent where most of the time you just go "UGH" at those. Maybe one show where I almost like the English version as much as the Japanese.

yea i really liked the db/z dub. i've only seen one episode of the dubbed version (and the movie dubbed) but cowboy bebop was dubbed really well. i also liked the trigun dub (although i've only seen a couple eps of the dubbed version). yu yu hakusho had a good dub too.

this thread is limited to english speaking people. but i watched some eps of hack sign dubbed in english and i found it great.
in france, gto dub was ok, noir dub too and it looks that FMA dub was very good.
one piece's french dub is the worst dub ever, but there isn't any edit.

Most of my favorite dubs have already been mentioned.
Rurouni Kenshin was pretty good, in my opinion. Strangely enough, I actually prefer Kenshin's English voice (Richard Hayworth) over his Japanese one (Mayo Suzukaze).
Other than the name changes, Detective Conan is also well done.

I actually really like the Ranma 1/2 dub, but only up until Ranma's voice actor changed in the fourth season. It's ironic than he sounded inifinitely more natural when he was voiced by a girl than he did when a man took the part. I couldn't really enjoy watching it after that. x_x.;

People who'd knock you for complaining about the name changes are just ignorant anyway, since it was done at the Japanese producers request. Speaking as someone who honestly wouldn't have minded even if FUNi did it of their own accord, yeah, either way, it's a really good dub.
….then again, most FUNi dubs are these days.
