who will win? i think that luffy would win because of his devil fruit power. but sasuke couild win to since he's fast and has different tricks than luffy does. on second thought i think that sauke would win.

It's also somewhat… I can't think of a good enough watered-down term to describe what these topics mean to me.
Sasuke vs. Luffy: The two manga here are from totally different battle perspectives. Naruto's characters are more... versatile. You get illusions, martial arts, and kickass special attacks. On the other hand, One Piece characters seem more... gimmicky. As in: one main skill, variants on that skill. All of Luffy's attacks deal with stretching, Mr. 1's attacks all involve turning parts of his body into blades and slashing with them. You get the picture. In that perspective, One Piece characters (excepting Logias) would stand little chance against a fully-decked Naruto character. The illusions alone would probably be the end of Luffy, since he's so stupid he got hypnotized by a technique that wasn't even AIMED at him. And, possibly, the Chidori could cut through him, the Rasengan could shatter him, etc. But, in actuality, there can be no real comparison in logical terms.
Pikachu vs. Ener: No. Just, no. Ener can turn into lightning at will; Pikachu's attacks, no matter how high the voltage, would do ZIP to him. And, I doubt a simple Head Bash would be enough to bring down Ener when he took a Gomu Gomu Rifle and got up. Add to that the fact that Ener could skewer the poor thing, and it adds up to an obvious choice.

Except that Sasuke doesn't even use genjutsu so that isn't a factor in such a fight. Also, we are talking about a person whose fighting style is insanely obvious and boring consisting of only using a type of katon, his sharingan, and chidori.
I vote for Luffy. Just because a character has one type of ability doesn't mean that variety helps out in battle. Kind of reminds me of how Hisoka fights in Hunter X Hunter in having basically one unique ability but variations of its usage.

saskes only long ranged moves are fire and shuricans
luffy is an expert in long range
a shurican could barely hurt luffy since those spikes went through luffy and didnt hurt him
fire would only cause pain not damage -
You'd think Sasuke would own him because fire burns rubber, but fire never seems to bother Luffy. Luffy would definitally win.
On a side note, these polls are kind of getting annoying.

Including when it comes to insanely huge explosions. The very fact that Luffy was still standing and battle ready after being caught in the explosion that Ussop created make me doubt Sasuke is capable of doing much in any damage with his usual jutsus.

I know how the fight would go.
1. Sasuke performs ridiculously strong DBZ-ish move.
2. Luffy, being rubber, survives. "WTF?" appears over Sasuke's head.
3. Sasuke gets pummelled into oblivion. Luffy wins.

Sasuke has one of his long winded moments of angsty introspection. Meanwhile Luffy lines up a huge gomu gomu pistol and launches it right into his stomach, leaving Sasuke a crying mess. ;_;

Yesh, I totally agree with you, I mean, with the other thread closed, you'd think that someone might learn something on people's opinions on cross-over verses topics. Well, countless people have contributed in saying this :: Quit it, NOW! I just see this whole crossover thing as stupidity, if Sasuke 'n' Luffy were meant to fight, I'm pretty sure Kishimoto 'n' Oda-sensei would have come to an agreement ofsorts already…

yea that's what i mean, id he did that who knows what would happen. plus he's been under oro's care for 2.5 years an has most likely gotten much more powerful. i'm not sure he can beat eneru though (luffy beat cuz he's the only thing that can even fight him, plus he's got luck on his ass :D). and croc, well if sasuke knew his weakness, yea he could probobly beat him too. but also sasuke is a ninja trained by the some of the best. if you read the chapters or watch the episodes of naruto and sasuke fighting you'll see why i say sasuke can win. it's not that i like sasuke more than luffy or anything (i like luffy way more than sasuke trust me), it's just logical imo.

Except that until we see how strong Sasuke is after these 2.5 year skip it isn't exactly logical to make a comparison between Luffy and a Sasuke who had a 2.5 year time skip. You might as well think about how strong Luffy would be if he got a 2.5 year time skip.
Whether it be luck or some other factor, a loss is a loss. Saying that Luffy was only able to beat Eneru by being made of rubber can be compared to Sasuke beating Naruto because of his mastered sharingan and cursed seal, except that Luffy wasn't the one who relied upon outside factors to win his fights.
I doubt Sasuke would truly think about what is Crocodile's weakness since his usual form of fighting style is the cocky brawler, using the same exact moves over and over again even if they already failed in the first place.
