while i was waiting for the new episodes of one piece, i came across a show called air gear. i watched all 25 episodes of it, bu i want to know when they're gonna make season 2. they already have the manga, but i like it better when i can actually see their movement and not try to assume how they move. plus, sometimes the print is too small.

If you wanna enjoy it 5 times more, if you follow what anyone else advices you, read the manga. But then again, I'm not the guy to judge or listen since I've only heard of the series.

I felt the same way about the anime, then I read the manga from the beginning and it made the whole series that much better. I heard there is a low chance that they would make a second season but that doesn't bother me as long as the manga continues to come out.

I love this series. The Behemoth arc was awesome, even though I stopped reading it awhile ago due to laziness, I love the Road King concept, and Oh! Greats art is awesome.

Well yeah, it's pretty much Ogure Itou [man I was surprised when I realized why the pen name was Oh! Great] shitting the most random shit to have excuses for more spreads.
It has some good comedy though, some small stuff I lol'd from, which is mainly the only reason I'm reading this.. ugh. -

Bah you people and the anime. Save for the beginning and end it manages to follow the manga nearly page for page (Not too mention has great music to boot). And yes I've been reading the manga lately, the current arc hardly stack up to the beginning few mainly cause there wasn't a central villain (or villains in this case) at the time. Guess the censorship can mess with person mind =P Whatever, I dig both mediums of the series.

I just started checking out the series a few days ago. However, I haven't been able to read the manga, so I do not know if the manga is better than the anime.
I kinda like it, though it does seem to contain a lot of fan-service. I don't really like that in an anime. The music's great though.^^ Though…I have only been able to find the Opening and the Ending. -____-

its cool to me and especially his art work , i think its far clearer and neat. compared to some mangas and the guy has good ideas and imagination. looking at the creatures or modules for each player. eg agito - a shark
manga is way better than the anime , the anime sucked big time and especially the ending, didn't make any sense -

My brother got real big into Air Gear around this time last year. I liked the anime (shitty ending though), but I don't read the comics (too much fanservice anyway). I don't really read any manga aside from One Piece anyway >.>
I also must say, the character art and the music is positively bitchin', though. Chain is quite possibly one of the best songs I ever heard (and I usually hate Japanese music).

Without meaning to pressurise you. your post intrigued me to no end. if it's not too much trouble could you grab a [similar if possible] scan/page from each manga and show me how you feel Oda makes better use of the space to explain himself.
I'm not trying to challenge you or be aggressive i'm just excitedly curious about this as i've never thought about it that way despite feeling that while AG is my favourite manga right now, Oda is a better writer.
