since whitebeard seems to have a TON of nobodies.
He seems like a guy who would take in almost anyone as long as they had basic strength and showed shallow loyality to him (The ugly looking dudes who lost conciousness when Shanks arrived. also, Blackbeard. I doubt Shanks or Luffy would have been fooled the same way by him, they care too much about their individual crew).Shanks also has a whole bunch of crewmembers though, and the average strength of his non-officers are likely below all of Luffy's (They might have Usopp's offensive ability, but not his ability to absorb punishment).

Plus all of theit "weak" members were stronger then average. The nameless people were all masters of disguise, and had large verieties of weapons like cat claw nails, poison gas crosses, bazookas, etc… They would probably out number any pirate crew anyway.

At current? Redhair crew seems pretty unbeatable.
Whitebeard's crew is made up of people more more powerful than Luffy(Ace, first mate Marcel(was that his name?))
In terms of real grit and potential however, Strawhats take it.
Moria's Zombie crew could have been amazing if he'd captured more people like Luffy, Zoro and Sanji(and if Hogback hadn't just got crushed by Oz)

Well, Rockstar's a freaking newbie with a bounty of 90 millions! Only god know how powerful are the Redhair's elite members, and even tough Whitebeard's lower ranked men fell unconscious at Shank's presence, we don't even know if they were even stronger than Luffy and Co. For all that I care, It wouldn't be a surprise if Luffy would faint after meeting that side of Shanks..

Like hell. If anyone is strong enough to handle Shank's aura, it's Luffy. Hell I bet even Usopp can handle it. It's all about strength of will and I'm confident that the strawhat pirates have proved enough times that they're made of tougher stuff.

Whitebeard's crew is the strongest currently. They were rivals to Gold Roger's crew and they are apparently the closest to obtaining One Piece. And they do have the "Strongest Man In The World" as their captain.
Potentially I'd say the Blackbeard Pirates and Strawhat Pirates are pretty high up there with the BB Pirates being the stronger of the two (at least currently).

So that means that back then White Beard was so powerful that Shanks and MiHawk could tag team him, and he would take them on, as if nothing.
Well I guess that those types of epic battles were regular occurances during the great White Beard and Gold Roger "Pirate War" era~

Lets see, we already know that crews like BB's, WB's, Roger's are mostly likely strongest (and not to mention that SH Crew has the most potential to be strongest too), unless of course theres another crew we haven't seen yet that is as powerful as the rest (how many logias can there be again)?

Because he was just trying to save Luffy and get him out of the way, and when Luffy started his journey, he got his revenge on the Sea King that took shank's arm.

no mihawk wasn`t in WB -crew….mihawk and shanks just battled in the past against each other(reason is unknown up to know) but seems to be that they now are some kind of "friends"...maybe they fights cause they wanted to know who is stronger of this two legends...like WB said...

I actually watched 4Kids up until the end of Drum. Then someone complained on one of my old message boards complained about how the original was so much better, and gave us a clip to upload of the japanese version of Whapols defeat. Then I frantically searched the internet for the original version… I eventually found K-F, and the rest is history.
But that was years ago. I have now seen all of the actual version.(except the Alvida, Morgan, and Buggy arch. I never bothered to re watch those)
So I just assumed that the Sea King was somewhere in there... :happy: -

Be kinda fun to just see some other group just be like, "Oops, stolen your Title!" Kick the hell out of the SH, WB, BB and RH pirates. Though, that would probably never happen - but I would just find it humerous. One Piece has what every other shounen has - there is ALWAYS someone somewhere that is stronger or will become stronger than the main characters at one point.
