Guys. please do not use acronyms like "zomg" and "wtf". It makes it seem like whoever is writing it has been talking like that in real life…which is stupid. It's just plain lazy.

Dude, not only are the accronyms annoying, but the SWEARING IN EVERY LINE IS UNNECESSARY.
I can guarantee you nearly half of the "translation" is actually just liberties being taken. ~~;

OK, these comments have officially made this scanlation fail for me. I'd rather wait for a good scanlation thank you very much. On another note,, it's hurting a lot less to wait now^^ And I still have no clue what this chapter is about. Nothing, nada, zilch. It hurts but in a good way^^ (OK that sounded gross) Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that none of you better spoil it for me and to keep discussions of the chapter in the chapter thread and no where else>< Sorry for sounding a bit bitchy but I have been holding on for a week now. Hope you can understand and erm I'm sure this chapter is gonna rock!!!

I can honestly say that the only good features about this scanlation are that the image quality is nice and clean, and that the font works (but isn't properly utilized for the most part).
Ditch the internet lingo. Ditch the swearing (NEVER will anyone in the series ever say the word "fuck" among other swears). Ditch the acronyms.
Or just ditch whoever the hell it is that's writing up the translation as such.

Acronyms, LQ, etc… at least FH's releases are the most rapid and you can read the chapter with words in the images.

I thought some of the swears made sense in context. They'd work better if there were less swears in the rest of the chapter.
And yeah, having Chopper say "zomg" is pretty tacky.

But they clash with the personalities of the characters. Despite Oz being a different character, he has Luffy's exact personality. Luffy's NEVER the kind of person who would say the following:
"OMFG!!! A COMMAND UNIT?!?! THERE'S A FUCKING COMMAND UNIT IN MY STOMACH!!!"
"HOLY SHIT, THIS IS SOOOO COOL! I'M LIKE A FUCKING ROBOT!"
Notice how completely out of character that is and how inappropriate the usage is. Considering One Piece is a shounen manga, that type of thing is the last thing you'd expect from one.

Nice work, just as fast as usual. Although, i personally feel that you should tone down on the american internet humor 'cause it really doesn't fit One Piece… or any manga really.
Edit: Or rather, the use of internet slang and swearwords like 'fuck', it's not supposed to be written like an american teenager would write it, you should try to keep it the same sort of spirit or mood that the original manga is like.

I might be wrong, but I think his "fucking" and "holy shit" are directly translated from the Japanese text. I know Luffy says "bastards" all the time.

"Fucking" and "holy shit" are FAR from translations, considering there is NO Japanese equivalent to those terms. Especially "fucking." Not to mention, One Piece is a shounen manga. Like hell they would ever use such crude terms. It's something called "translators taking liberties."

I laughed when I read the scans and saw oz say HOLY SHIT! IM LIKE A FUCKING ROBOT! lol that was very funny…wow past two chapters where horribly scaned by franky house...i've read better..i'm dissapointed..well waiting for HQ!

Uh, surely you guys proof read everything before trying to edit the text into the scans, right? I'd say more than one person is at fault if a whole team has let this happen. I'm pretty sure you guys have done this before, if I'm not mistaken.
