I think that Super Sonic is just going to be akin to the Giga Bowser transformation, controls normally, but with a few perks.

Someone pointed this out, but if Smash Balls are once a match, then it's interesting to note in one of the videos Fox grabs a Smash Ball while Zero Suit Samus is out.

How many other 3rd party characters besides Solid and Sonic will appear in Smash? Can't remember the amount Sakurai said.

I believe Sakurai said there would be a total or 3 or 4 third party characters.

Ya know, maybe after seeing the excitement over Snake and now Sonic, previous companies were vying to get there's in causing the delay?

I wonder how the fandom as a whole is reacting to Sonic. The split for people for him and the people against him seemed pretty even to me, from what I saw.
Also, Ike's taunt/victory pose/entrance pose/whatever the fuck it is is pretty cool looking. He's certainly not a girly man.

Yeah, does seem to be a even split between Sonic lovers/hater. But one this is certain, Sonic is in, and there's not a damn thing people can do to stop it. And I noticed (late) how Sonic was used as a decoy to distract us from the delay. Very clever (and annoying)

I can't wait to use Marth and Ike in a team battle, just to mess with people. They look a lot alike, but hopefully they're different enough to warrent two characters. Also, fucking Aether. How badass is that? Marth doesn't have anything like that.
This makes me wonder what Ike's Final Smash would be. Hopefully it isn't brining in reinforcements, that'd seem more like something Marth would do. TIME SHALL TELL!!!

People who thought Smash Balls were "once per match" were being kind of dumb, to begin with. Nothing on the website stated such.

Basically, this is safety bumper for Sakurai. He's telling us that he'll try his damnedest to get it out by December 3rd, but just in case he doesn't, he's changing the official date to TBD. That way, fans can't be like: "YOU LIED TO US I NEED TO MASTURBATE TO SONIC OH GOD"

Sonic will be sort of fun in Subspace Emissary. But in terms of his actual movelist and shit, it looks fairly boring. Never been a fan of zipping around everywhere at break-neck speed.

Speaking of sonic, the jury's out on that call until the game is released (Which is up in the air now, thanks TBA. Wonder what kind of last minute junk they're throwing in there?). What excites me is the possibility of Dr. Robotnik as a boss in story mode (or maybe a crossover, with Sonic vs. Dr. Wily, Megaman vs. Robotnik). Did they really change Robotnik to Eggman because its derogatory to Russians?
