Does anyone else have it? I got it just now, mainly because Veoh won't allow you to watch vids without it all of a sudden for some fuckin reason. It's pretty cool so far, how you can DL vids from different sites.

i thought its annoying and pointless…same as the majority of the veoh forums, u can find 4914018+ people complaining over how u need the veohtv to watch all the videos now XD

They have Veoh forums? I agree though, it is totally unneccessary(Sorry for bad spelling) I mean, the player is having some trouble downloading for me. I wish that they'd go back to being a regular video hosting site. Where you can watch vids without having to open up another program. It's still a cool thing by itself, but now that you need it to play the vids there, not so much. Also, I can't help but notice that the quality is worse when you play it on the player, rather than on the site.

I thought it was annoying at first when I thought I had to download everything, but you can still watch the videos using the VeohTV thing the same way you would on veoh.com without having to download them.
Still was unnecessary, though.
-
The quality seems to go down a bit when they are played on VeohTV though, although, that could just be because they are on a wider screen.
-
That's probably the case. Most videos on streaming sites aren't great quality so stretching them out just makes it more obvious.
-
Yeah, I've been having some trouble downloading vids from the site since this new upgrade, it keeps saying that there is an "error downloading piece."

i found that out not long ago…its at the bottom of the page in the veoh site

Stage6.com -> Best Quality + Stream + Save on Hard drive possible.
Just search for one piece, bleach or whatever.
-
I honestly don't find much anime in general on Stage6. I'll see if they have more now though.

I think its pointless and stupid, and I feel bad for my friend who was trying to catch up in One Piece he didn't even finish Alabasta, and his only internet source is the Nintendo Wii ( he picks up someone elses Wi-Fi cause he has Dial up). Without Veoh he can't watch no more Japanese One Piece.

into media we go

I agree with all of you, why can't it stay a regular video hosting site?

My God. I have a horribly ancient PC (Pentium III 500 MHz, 512 RAM), and Veoh is pretty much the highest quality streaming this PC can handle. And now there's this VeohTV bullshit. I don't want to download I'm almost 100% sure there will be problems with streaming. Well, so long D Gray Man streaming without limits (Crunchyroll is nice, but has a limit and considerably lower quality).

Probably the reason behind some videos stopping at 10 minutes and restarting some weeks ago. I got it downloaded and installed. It's truly is bothersome, you gotta go to the video, hit the button for it to play on VeohTV, close out of the browser (seeing how you wont be using it), and wait for the program to open and load.
But hey, it doesn't seem to catch up and have to load anymore, and you no longer have to deal with ads on a page and the fact you can only have the video on the left side of your screen.
