On the evening of February 27 2008 from 6pm to 8pm EST (GMT-5), maintenance will be performed to the power systems which feed our DC1 facility. During this time, power is expected to remain offline for approximately 1.5 hours while building maintenance installs new switchgear. This device is designed to protect against damage to our equipment from a massive surge or other fault condition that could occur on utility power. Note that this maintenance is a follow-up to that which we had about a month ago. Although it's painful to go down, we believe this maintenance goes to the integrity of our hosting environment in DC1.
