Not sure what I'll do cosplay-wise, but we'll see depending on time and money. I hope to revive my May Lee (King of Fighters). I would wear Robin, but I don't feel like I've lost enough weight to pull her off anytime soon.

I'd still like to hit AX in 2012. It looks like my sis and I are going to Otakon in 2011 though if anyones going xD still not sure who to cosplay but Garp and Sengoku and maybe supernovas come to mind xD heh. Tempted to bring WB or Admirals to get beautiful pictures by the sea but I dunno.

I have been working on a Kiki cosplay for my daughter recently. Almost finished with it! Only need to do the hairbow and then shorten the sleeves and hem the bottom of the dress.
If a CP9 group is reforming at A-Kon, I might have to make the return of my awesome Luffy cosplay, super fluffy black shorts and all. :3

Yay! Do it! I'm sure putting together Kaku and Blueno won't be hard or too terribly expensive. Besides, I still have some untouched swords to modify =3 (expect to see Blueno/Kaku crack!)

Found one from the A-kon 2006 thread. Man, that was a fun con that year, so many good memories, and back when really awesome people posted on here. (For the most part, haha)
A badass group of One Piece cosplayers! I got to hang out with them for a long time, taking pictures with them and such, which I shall post later!. I found out that the Lucci and Zoro were Scuttlebutt! They recognized who I was after they saw my badge (it said pirateneko)

My kalifa wig is now arei's america wig. I was supposed to get a spiffy Japan wig out of the deal. Neko you should cosplay more girls, you have all the right curves and your boob would look great ina kalifa dress.

Not only have I been working on Kiki for Naoko, I have also been working on a Daida Hibana from DMW. Well actually working on redoing. So far it is turning out nicely. I need to buy more boning for the bottom ( I have boning, but I was about two inches short on it. T.T) Then it will need the ribbon, bows and lace. After that, I'll work on the collar.

Cindry was fun but a pain to cosplay. That paint sucked. It got everywhere, until it was time to take it off, then it wouldn't come off. I scrubbed myself like five times, and still had it in my ears. I don't cosplay much anymore. For one I feel like at 32 I'm a little too old for it, and I have a hard time "being in character." I think I will just enjoy looking at everyone elses amazing costumes, and appreciate the time and hard work that went into them.
man I'm 28, and I don't think 32 is too old for cosplay ;n; but I understand if you don't have a passion for it anymore xD
also, I can not even imagine having to scrub makeup out of my ears I had acrylic on my arms for Law and it took a HUGE amount of time to scrub that off.. I rubbed my fingers raw getting 'death' off them xD but still fun … I didn't want to take them off xDDD

@ brandee. I can understand where your coming from. You were never really big into it anyways. I'm not big into it either, like others here, but I still want to do a bit. lol sort of related; I have a 70 yr old co-worker and she has purple spiky hair. I love her. she's awesome.

And 32 is not too old for cosplay. You just need to find a character that is more mature to cosplay. And there are plenty of them!

Rucci is an easy cosplay for me to get into (though I still have not found the right color band for the hat….) If there is a CP9 gathering, I am in....

yeah SKC hasn't done any big group cosplay since AX last year, but some of us keep the cosplay flame alive (mostly me I guess…). It's good to take a break though. I'm looking forward to doing stuff together for Fanime and AX. Right now, work is keeping me too busy to do much other than talk about it at this point.

If I had known that it was that expensive AND she was supposed to have given you one back I wouldn't have taken it… I feel bad now. The wig I gave to Charli that she butchered cost $54 so >___> I guess I lost too (because that wig of yours she used, it's kinda... melted now... I think, it might just need a good washing out but it looked melted (maybe because it got crushed XD).

Since you live pretty close now, go check out the Lewisville Goodwill. That's where I got my Kaku suit and out of all the thrift stores in that area that tends to be the place to find the nicest things.

Finished two pokemon gijinka costumes (Tangrowth and Spinarak) and working hard on Odette from Odinsphere. Odette's a long term costume (for Akicon in November) but I need half of it done before I can start on my Kumoricon (September) costume of Excellent Scene Usopp!
For Sakuracon I just need to finish Luffy Oyabun's obi and make the pants. My friend (who is doing Sanji) says she's going to figure out how to make momohiki so we can be stupidly historically accurate, so I have to wait till she gives up and I can make normal pants. XD At least I finished sewing up the yukata bit. I'm ashamed that I am so proud of the stripes I drew that no one will notice.

yep! She will be premiering at a con semi-locally V-day weekend and then will wear it again at Otakon.
So far her cosplay list for Otakon is : Kiki (kiki's delivery service) Stella (Arakawa Under the Bridge) Daida Hibana (Deadman Wonderland) Little Sister (Bioshock) and Aisa (One Piece). And then I am hoping to get done for her: Happy (Fairy Tail) Chopper, Miriana (Fairy Tail) and something from Umineko and possible something from Captain Harlock. But that will depend on time and money.
