Yeah, don't much feel like posting any cosplay here either. It's like..I WANT to get excited, but..there's no one really to share the excitement with. Not to mention our Houston/Kingwood friends don't get on here but once in a decade so it's hard to chat with them about costumes xD But that's okay. Next year looks fairly promising if not just for Otakon alone. Want to try and hit up Anime Matsuri since Oni-con was a no go sadly.

I PLAN TO~ I'm going to ask my mom if I can borrow her digital camera. =D Even though I don't have a cosplay, I plan on wearing my Law shirt as much as possible. I hope to get my fabric paint out this weekend and paint a magma fist on this flesh colored tank top I bought at work a few months back… wear it around and see who I can get to b'awww and who I can get to high five me. :D

Interfacing. Put thick interfacing inside the collar. Since the admiral collars are folded down like a upside down V shape, it'll be easier to fold if you put the interfacing in 2 pieces - one on the / side and one on the \ side. The overall shape of the collar fabric itself is like a large rectangle - cut some samples out of paper and experiment with the size until you find a shape that works for you.

Good luck Popeye, pretty much One Piece is the ONLY series out there you can't find costumes that are pre-made for minus some of the simpler characters like some of the Strawhats or Law for example. You might have to commission it from someone who does costumes, or learn to make it yourself which is much more rewarding. Sorry that probably didn't help much if at all, but just being honest sadly.

Well finally getting back into working on cosplays. Currently working on Hungary from Hetalia, which I hope to have done in time for ACP's contest. I'm also working on Stella from Arakawa Under The Bridge for Naoko, but I don't have to have that done until Feb. So I am in no hurry to finish it.

I started sculpting my Brook mask today. It's not as easy as I thought, but it's pretty fun.

Welp, guess who finally got a job.
Though apparently, until christmas shoopping official kicks off, I might only get 5-10 hours a week max .___. But hopefully I'll be able to start getting SOME work done on Shiryuu, even if it's small things until I get a Pharmacy Tech job (which class for that is underway now).
Coby is probably not going to happen now, or happen later. It needed to be done by the beginning of November, and I don't think that is happening anymore.
I am getting a sexy computerized Janome sewing machine and a serger for my birthday, so hopefully the combo of money and a non piece of shit sewing machine will get the cosplay flowing again. I have not worked on ONE THING since preparing for Acen. I am really depressed about that.
Shiryuu, and my Lackadaisy cosplay, might be the only things I get cranked out in time for Acen/A-Kon next year, though I'll probably get time to do something else before Otakon, I dunno what yet.

Okay..after watching the Skypeia boxset I got today..I am REALLY wanting to put a Skypeia group together. I doubt I have any takers, but I'm either aiming for A-kon or possibly Anime Matsuri. Dunno yet, but, I am really REALLY gung-ho on doing Wiper. I've wanted to cosplay him for like 3 years now, and I think it's TIME.

@moonneko: lol your sister and I had a convo over twitter about doing Skypiea for Otakon as I have been wanting to do Laki and have Naoko do Aisa. So if I can lose enough weight by Jan. or something I'll gladly try to get something skypiea done by Otakon.

OH Morgan xD My sis is actually doing Kamakiri for me since I'm doing Wiper, FUFUFUFU i'm such an evil sister x3 BWAHHAHHAHAAHHAAH!!!! I'd love to pull together a really awesome group, sadly though I have no pull and no influence over a single person. I've asked 2 of my friends to cosplay Shandians with us, so we'll MAYBE have Wiper, Kamakiri, Laki and Braham. I wish I could get someone to do Eneru for us, I tried to get my only male cosplaying friend to but he refuses ;_; it would be soo perfect too DX!! weeeeps especially since he's soo much taller than me or my sis.
I love Conis too, She's absolutely adorable and one of my fav female characters of all time in OP x3 Gan Fall is SOO FUCKING THE SHIT, I've never really seen anyone cosplay him.
