Excel Saga has to be the funniest anime or manga that I can think of at the moment :rolleyes: . Discuss, discuss!
Also has anyone heard of the Excel or Il Palazzo hotels? Their names are puns off hotels and I've seen the Hyatt one.

I have seen the DVD covers. I thought at that time, 'This looks serious'. Then saw what it was really about. Misleading those DVD covers.

The Excel Saga anime is okay, but the true humor is in the manga. Oh, and the manga has a tangible plotline as well, and Egala. Egala is more than enough reason to read the manga.

I bought the box set and I must say that Excel Saga is the best anime ever.

I really loved the first few episodes, but after that the series got kinda monotonous to me. Outside of a few scenes, the later episodes were just kinda boring. The manga was kinda a similar case…for the first few books, it's excelent, and then the humor gets kinda dry.

panda's right. while it was overall an excellent anime, it had its dry moments. but then again, there were moments where i was gasping for air because i was laughing so hard.

Saw a couple of episodes at a anime convention, never have I heard somebody speak some damn fast. I mean I was just like "What the heck, she just keeps going and going and going." And the humor, so non sequitnor. I love it.

excels rant's were so awesome ^.^ sometimes it was hard to keep up with the subs though so i ended up watchin it on dubed english dvd. Was a pretty good series very funny up there with Full metal panic in humor

iv seen it and its a vrey humor's anime but i have't seen it in manga befor but i gess its stell funny ^^ i like it how it takes the piss out of things but i would't say i like it 100%

Man Excel speaks sooooooooo fast you can't hear a thing. The only thing you could do is enable subtitles
