For me,
Kokoro no Chizu > Brand New World > We Are > Jungle P and Believe > Hikari E > Bon Voyage > The 4Kids Rap > Sanji's 4kids Voice > Crazy Rainbow
and, I too hate the Removal of an Ending theme.

List from best to worst (but I love them all)
1. JUNGLE P!
2. Brand New World
3. Hikari E
4. Believe
5. Kokoro No Chizu
6. We Are
7. Bon Voyage
8. Crazy Rainbow
We Are > Kokoro no Chizu > Jungle P > Brand New World > Hikari E > Bon Voyage > Believe > Crazy Rainbow
I'm looking forward to see once "Jungle P" becomes as annoying to everybody as Crazy Rainbow "is" now… :getlost:
I only find the openings annoying when watching episodes back to back. Like when I first started watching the anime I began to get super annoyed by "Believe" and simply couldn't wait for the next opening to begin. But one episode a week? I don't see a problem. Only problems I found: Once again it's 2 minutes, and the constant montages. And what was with Franky? He didn't do much at all… He was in the same position in two parts for crying out loud! If it had simply been a 1:30 opening I think we all would have enjoyed it just a bit more. It also sucks to finally get the full single to find that I've heard pretty much the entire thing already...
I dug it, felt like a samba song. The intro eh, just the usual straw hats missing around, show off abilities, mill around. Least we get to the see the other characters in this one. Still the flow of this one was good and the song kept it going so meh.
@Lobster:
Meh…
Ending 4 easily ownz all of the intros though... And that isn't even the best ending~
Two words: Shining Ray.
Two words: Shining Ray.
Indeed. :ninja:
But Movie 6's ending was automatic win just because it was Kishidan that did it.
Eternal Pose and A to Z are one of the best
@Ao:
Then OP was the first series I remember starting "cold" straight into the show for a few minutes then cutting back to the opening theme when it was most dramatic to do so.
This was a total misfire as well. I miss the days where One Piece opened with an opening and ended with an ending.

Okay, now you're just trying.
I guess Crazy Rainbow was just that forgettable. XD
I liked it, I've liked all the themes so far and even if I didn't like them at first I grew to like them…
that "Life is adventurous!"... part, I just set that as one of my ring tones. Of course it sounds like shit since had to record it from my computer to my phone but... oh well, I know what it is XD
Give me Sailing Day anyday over everything else if we start to include OP Movie endings too.
After listening to this song for a while, Jungle P has quickly become one of my top favorites.
Maybe I just haven't listened to it enough, then.
Whenever I start to enjoy the song, that English part comes and its gives me a feeling similar to nails on a chalkboard.

The english rap is the best part of the song.

Wow. I said the same exact thing out loud to myself, but with more swearing, then saw this post immediately.
I gave a stream of the opening to someone I know who's been only reading OP, and he said, "You have no idea how refreshing seeing that opening was."
I've never heard so much English crammed into a short amount of Japanese song. But I like the part where they say "All the way to One Piece!" because that's the only small part where I can actually understand what they're saying.

Full version out…and this version seems to flow better than the anime version of the song. Somehow it has grown on me a bit and some of the wildness just translate even better. (then again, considering it came out at the same time as "After Dark" and "Dirty", it is hard to divide my attention)
hey, anyone got a link to download the opening (video) version? In a quicktime format? If not, can someone give me a little help on getting it on an iPod?

Kickass! Is there an instrumental version by any chance?
YES. THANK YOU TOKORO. T_______T
i've been waiting fer this. >=3
I just finished listening to the full version of the song and my opinion changed.
It's a good song, but my opinion is the same as Brand New World. Good song, shitty opening.
Just listened to the full version (I thought i listened to the full one before?).
They should've started the opening with the saxophone. It sounds like they expected that to make the cut: "Hey all kids in front of the TV." The last 3rd of the song hits all the sweet spots. Instead they left in a bunch of the forgettable beginning and cut out some of the good stuff at the end.
Yeah this song is addicting. I didn't even listen to BNW this much, and it was my favorite.
Hopefully they update the opening when fillers are done, but I doubt that'll happen. We might get another OP entirely for Thriller Bark, I mean look at how long BNW lasted, they could decide to just go with an entire Thriller Bark themed Opening.
Wow, that was a beautiful song. I won't ever stop listening to it. Easily my second favorite only to Brand New World.
Well done, 5050. Well done.
P stands for Party… This has become my second/third favorite opening(with Believe and under Kokoro no chizu)
Kokoro no Chizu stands as my favorite, with the straw hat version of we are coming in right behind it…Crazy Rainbow is third, followed by Hikari e. Jungle P is after that one, so that makes it...5th. ha ha ha.
For me, there's no question. Jungle P is the greatest One Piece opening song ever. Even the english is surprisingly tolerable (although I still would have rather it been omitted - don't care for any of it besides the final line, "All the way to One Piece). It's certainly not the Engrish that was used in Shining Ray or A-Z.
The reason I don't really care about the English in this song is 'cause it actually makes sense. I was ready to hear about diving with the world's best submarine captains in a song about eating pasta.
Is this the place where was also discuss the subbed episodes. That Big Daddy guy is ugly, reminds me of someone in another anime. Can't find the page though, where was see what kind of abilities they have
could anyone upload it on megaupload, or something else? Sendspace doesnt seem to work for me.. :S
This opening started out great, but it just couldn't hold my attention. It was too long. "Crazy Rainbow" was fun, but the animations were nothing to brag about; this one's too long. I was really hoping they'd have a shorter OP and tag on an ending.
(Been overloaded with school and life, so I only just got around to watching this. But it aired on my birthday! Woot!)
You guys are complaining about the new set up, but guess what? It's probably not gonna change.
Think about it, before they had to hire 2 bands to work on a different song, having to deal with all the copyright shit and the money, and then produce two separate animations. Now that they're going with this method they probably AREN'T gonna change.
1 Band, 1 Song, 1 Animation, less bullshit.
