Oh man, that fan-made thing looked so official, I thought it was the real thing.
Are you serious? -_-;

This filler from that looks like it may be good. I need to eventually start watching the anime again.
Alot of those character designs don't seem very One Piecey, except for Don Atchino, the kid, and the guy with the blond hair at the top. I never actually watched OP filler bfore, but this one looks interesting.
Anyone wanna guess who fights who, or is it too early for that?
Although it would seem premature, that muscular guy with the stache' just seems like a natural fit for Franky.
Am I the only one that noticed the screen shot included looked a little Out Of Context? But this looks like an okay filler but I'm not sure if I'm actually going to watch it yet.

Didn't Oda himself help with the character designs? I hope this filler arc turns out to be as good as the Bount Bleach filler arc (good fights, decent story.) Hopefully it won't end until Thriller Bark ends and the next arc begins.
The Bount arc was awful until they introduced the actual Bounts. When it was just the dolls, it was a horrible joke.
Also, OP fillers have been pretty decent overall since G8.
Every filler is fine as long it doesn´t mess with canon IMO. Having Apis in the Calm Belt, Erik on Reverse Mountain, Ace wandering around with the Strawhats in Arabasta, Luffy prefering a horse over Chopper in the Davey Back Fight and Aokiji having help some random retards instead of Tonjit is stuff that makes bad fillers. If they however stand alone like the movies or the specials then they are just fine.
On a side note, yes, the Bount arc was totally horrible. You could easily tell that it is filler even though you didn´t read the manga before.
Also, OP fillers have been pretty decent overall since G8.
Ocean's Dream was alright at times, but I'd hardly call it decent. And the episodes with Foxy and his crew returning were absolutely horrible. It ranks right up there with Goat Island.
You know what I've noticed? One Piece fillers are always about them helping some stupid little girl that looks like Nami find something and Naruto fillers are about Naruto being a hero(helping people become stronger blah blah blah)and all that crap.I HATE Aisa and Rainbow Mist kids:theyre all ugly except the girl.
Aisa isn´t a filler girl.
I'm a bit surprised that this is a Winter Island/Glacier arc. I would of never telled judging by the characters.
Also, all of the Bount arc was horrible; they basically wanted to see how many plot holes they could make and get away with it (and with Bleach, you can get away with alot, BTW).
The Bount arc did have some great fights though, like Ishida's.
But, ya, can anyone translate some of the filler character's names? Esspecially
Don Accino's goons.
Well, from my limited knowledge of katakana I'll try to get their names right. Starting from the far left on top: Bigaro, Gairu, Satton, Raago, Bajiru. On the bottom from the left: Jirou, Pazuru (I'd say Puzzle), Stansen, Torofu, and Reisu (I'd say Race).
Awesome, thanks, bro.
You're welcome . I can't wait to hear the new opening. I really liked that Shounen Midnight Club video that was posted earlier and I have full confidence that this opening'll be awesome.
Ah, all the sudden, Im really looking forward to seeing Don Accino and his stached, muscular goon in action. If this arc turns out to be above average, I might just follow the anime again for awhile.
Me…....excited for a filler.....what has happened...
Do you guys think this will really only be a 12 episode filler arc like they said way back when? Thriller Bark will probably be done in 14 weeks (counting the 2 week break)
Thriller Bark will probably be done in 14 weeks (counting the 2 week break)
I'm pretty sure it would be done before then, Luffy's fight and Odz thrashing up shit isn't going to last 12 chapters.
And there they crushed my hopes of having Thrillerbark in anime version to help me go through the college application exams I'll be facing thsi years…. Oh, well, if the fillers are good at least, I won't complain. At least I still have the manga. But I still hope that it'll be a short arc. And maybe the Thrillerbark people, or at least Brook are gonna show up in the new opening. They can't make an opening just for the fillers, could they? They wouldn't, right?

Such…...excessive......snarkiness...
I've only seen Warship Island, Goat Island, and Rainbow Mist filler. Warship was great! I don't see why others didn't like it. Goat island was really slow but it was only 3 episodes. And Rainbow Mist had an interesting plot but it was kinda boring and the ending made no sense!
Oh shit! An update is at the site.

Can a nice lad or lass please translate?
Holy fuckin' shit, he's back.
I guess I should start browsing the One Piece sectoin more often now.
On Topic: Warship island is not liked because it had too many episodes with Straw Hats going back and forth between two islands. The only part I liked about the whole thing was Eric, and that's only slightly.

Well, they're all part of the "Acchino Family." Campuccino & Brindo (the twins,) Salco & Albel (married,) Lill, and Hocker. (First son, second son, Albel's husband, first daughter, second daughter, third son, all in that order.) Don Acchino is their father.
Truthfully, I'd love to translate that entire page, but I have way too much stuff going on to even commit to it. (I hardly have time to do this little bit, which is basically nothing. XD)
EDIT: They also allude to a Devil's Fruit in the family. I think it's the youngest girl, from what I see.
Im actually anticipating this filler, cause a mixture of bounty hunters and Franky and Thousand Sunny, plus new opening. Riding the hype will make the filler transition a bit more fun, cause if you expect to be perfect it won't be. =P but yea the guy with the chain the link looks cool.
Wow, that's a really interesting development. I really hope theres some funny interactions among the family, especially the twins.
Thanks.
I think it'll be interesting since zoro is going to be rarely using the Santoryu and I think he's going to be looking for a sword in this filler arc. And franky is going to be causing a ruckus!!!!
What's this going around that Brand New World is a hip hop song? I don't know where people are getting that from, but it's melodic singing on a electronic dance beat, and doesn't even keep up rhymed stanzas. The singers are modern pop.
Anyhow, I found the Brand New World intro to be the best one in adapting the style and feel of one piece. It's the only one I listened to every episode; all the other openings I listened to a couple of times then always fast forwarded for the rest of the episodes.
If people didn't notice, opening 6 had both manga/anime scenes AND recreated artwork. It seems people were too worried about spoilers, rather then enjoying the presentation. Grow some thicker skin. If anything, I found the opening more pleasing than the presentation during the anime itself, which was spread way to thin (too much filler fluff and rehash of story line, for children to understand).
Could anyone tell me where the filler after the whole Garp thing begins where you can watch the episodes?

Do you mean the Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji fillers, 317-319? You could probably find them on Veoh. That is what you're talking about, right?

Too bad it lasted 14 episodes.

Well, if it is filler then it is what I mean. I just don't want to watch the nonfiller parts and wait for the German manga to catch up. Thanks man.
Can't wait for the new opening. I know I'm gonna like it.
I liked the panning out of the CP9 agents during Brand New World then showing the SHs standing tall. THAT WAS AWESOME! Why the hell did it last 14 episodes?

To make room for the insult of an opening called Crazy Rainbow.
I honestly don't know why.
Crazy Rainbow is alright
I wonder with the new opening will a new ending come in?
@Dragoness:

There isn't one. They would've announced it.
I really hope they get rid of the Gold Roger intro. It was good at first, but now playing it every episode is really unesscessary.

From what I remember, One Piece changed timeslots and when they changed timeslots they abruptly removed Brand New World and replaced it with Crazy Rainbow.

Yea, couldn't they just get an ending theme to fill up space other than an extremely overused speech (in the context of the sereis)? Everytime I look at that intro, it reminds me of the 4Kids opening…

It's performed by a hip hop group and altho there are pop elements, it's a hiphop song dude. ACCEPT EET!

Brand New World was hip hop?!
Naw…
Eternal Prose was hip hop.
Yeah, i listened to a few of D-51 songs, they're not a hip hop duo.
anyway….
