Well, I've decided to start my first fan-fiction! This is basically how I think the final Zoro VS. Mihawk battle will be like. I'm doing this under the impression that Zoro will get a new sword before he fights, and that Brooke joins, just so ya know. So here's part one:
Part 1: Mihawk approaches
It was a warm, sunny day in the Grand Line. The Strawhat crew were doing what they normally did; Luffy and Chopper were watching Brooke and Franky play their instruments in a mini-concert; Nami was finishing up a map; Usopp was working on a new weapon; Sanji started to cook dinner; Robin was reading a history book; and Zoro was lifting weights that an ordinary man would never dream of even moving.
Then, Luffy looked away from Franky and Brooke for just a second, and noticed a Marine ship, twice the size of the Thousand Sunny, heading straight towards them, cannons ready to fire.
"Oi! Marines!", Luffy shouted, and the crew rushed down to the deck preparing to fight.
"Load the cannons, Usopp!", commanded Luffy. Usopp nodded and rushed to the cannons.
"Argh, why now!", yelled Nami, who was nearly done with her map when the announcement came.
"Don't worry Nami-swan! We'll finish them off quickly!" assured Sanji.
The ship was getting closer and closer. Soon, the ships were right next to each other.
"Ready? 3…2...1...FI-" Nami was interrupted by several loud slicing sounds. Suddenly, the Marine ship was split into several large pieces.
"What the...Brooke, was that you?" Nami asked, but Brooke shook his head.
"Zoro?" She asked, but Zoro wasn't listening. He was glaring ahead at something beyond the wrecked ship. The crew followed his gaze and gasped at what they saw.
Behind the ship, a small, coffin-shaped boat was floating in the water, with two green-flamed candles and a single sail. Standing in the boat was a man who was all to familiar with Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji. With his cross-shaped sword, black and red coat, cross neclace, and feathered hat, there was no mistaking who it was.
"I've been waiting for you, Zoro," Mihawk said.
Zoro had an evil-looking grin on his face. "As I have been looking for you, Mihawk."
He drew Kuina's sword, feeling his heart beating faster. He had remembered what Mihawk told him last time, about being able to know you're opponent's strength before you draw your sword. Well, Zoro knew Mihawk's true strength now. It was almost horrifying, how powerful he was. However, there was one problem for Mihawk now; Zoro was ready this time.
To Be Continued…
Kind of short, but it's just the first part.
Tell me what you think so far!
Edit: I'll post part 2 in a little while. I would like to hear some comments or critizism first.
