This is perhaps the best thing I've heard fron ANN this year since the One Piece/FUNimation announcement. Toei Animation is really turning around in America considering all the flak they've been getting from fans over the last few years.

Just voted. Chose a couple obvious ones (Sailor Moon, the Digimon series), but also voted for a couple Matsumoto series as well to get an American release. (Galaxy Express 999, Harlock) Wish Nube was on the list though…and I didn't realize FoNS was on there until it was too late.
One other person on the ANN forums had the same problem with "Fist of the North Star", so I hope it's not a common problem. I thought it was interesting that the Leiji Matsumoto series were getting votes that almost rivaled "Digimon" and "Sailor Moon" while "FotNS" was only just slighty higher in votes in its category. Perhaps when people skim through the list they don't notice it right away 'cause it's called "Ken the Bear Fist". You could try mentioning a vote for "FotNS" in the ANN message board if it could possibly make up for it, and I know myself that if and when this service debuts the first anime I would want to watch is "Fist of the North Star".

Its s'alright, I really don't even go to ANN that often if ever. Though my major thought: considering the biggest name on the list is sort of touchy with them (seeing how they pulled the SM license and will never seem to ever release Stars in this country), I wonder how the heck they'll get that on demand. (or perhaps…maybe using the Digimon hype to get out some sub DVDs in this country)

Honestly, if they hadn't so badly derped up the HNK title it'd be winning right now by a landslide.
But I voted for that, Digimon, Sailor Moon (my childhood wouldn't let me refuse), Capt. Harlock and a bunch of other series I can't remember now.

I voted for pretty much everything except most of hte High Target stuff. But I wish I could vote again with a more critical stance. I mean I really was interested in a lot of the anime there, but it was like, "I've been wanting to see this anime for a while, and I don't know anything about this one so I'm interested in that too. But I can't help feeling that with a few series getting so many votes and everything being so close, the Toei people would consider it and say, "Okay, we got Sailor Moon, we got Digimon, we got the Leiji Matsumoto series. How the hell are we gonna decide what else to put up on there?!"
Plus, as a "One Piece" fan, I can't help but want to see that one black-and-white '60s pirate anime. It actually sounds like a more original pirate story than "One Piece". Plus it's from the creator of "Cyborg 009", so you can't go wrong with that.

Captain Harlock, Galaxy 999, The Pirate Prince, Sailor Moon.
I haven't seen much of Digimon so I'm not that big of a fan. But Sailor Moon is a classic from my youth, and Galaxy 999 and Captain Harlock are just the epitome of awesome.
Plus, as a "One Piece" fan, I can't help but want to see that one black-and-white '60s pirate anime. It actually sounds like a more original pirate story than "One Piece". Plus it's from the creator of "Cyborg 009", so you can't go wrong with that.

I voted Digimon, Sailor Moon, Xenosaga - The Animation, and some other ones.
I voted for Hokuto no Ken, Digimon, Harlock, Galaxy Express, and Slam Dunk. I thought about Babel II, but didn't vote for it, although in hindsight I probably should've, just because of the whole Big Fire thing.
