Does anyone think that Oda will intruduce any Pirateers? I think that perhaps the Shichibukai are the Pirateers but I'm not sure…

Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Heart (The other two were ko'ed by luffy, DoFlamingo and Crocodile)

Yeah, I definitely think that Mihawk is based at least partially off of Sir Francis Drake.
And yeah, the Shichibukai are the privateers of the One Piece world.

You know in Capten Planet it always bugged me… His weakness is Polution, and they call him to fight polution. It's like sending Superman to help the planet of Kryptonite.

I always thought he was kind of a wuss. He has all these powers, but can be taken down by cigarette smoke or an empty wrapper.
And he's kind of creepy. He looks like he's made of toothpaste. -

I always felt bad for that kid with the monkey. I mean the other Planeteers got cool powers like fire and earth and stuff and that lil guy got frickin Heart. I mean he totally got the short end of the stick. You just have to know the planeteers were making fun of him behind his back and that woman who gave them the rings must have been laughing for like a year after she gave him Heart. Well on second thought….maybe he used that ring to pick up women? Who knows....god that show was insane.

The Memory of watching Captain Planet, is one of the worst in my life. <_<
It kindda got on my nerves when they kept emphasizing, on saving water and electricity, and there wasn't a single character there that oozed coolness.
I also found it atrocious that Captain Planet (and might i stress, mostly), went down easily. I used to think it's better off if they just used their rings, instead of calling him up. :lol:

i remember watching probably every episode of captain planet. i think i thought it was cool. but then again, i was about eight years old. i thought green leggins were cool.
i always wondered, why did the cool kids hang out with the geeky looking asian kid? at least two of the kids were cool looking. i have no memories considering how the other two looked like. i can't even remember the monkey.
but what i do remember, is that one of the kids had a really weird voice, it sounded like arlong sounds in the 4kids dub, only girls' and more high pitched. no, wait, that was james bond junior, not captain planet.
