America wanted a hot president, be it an athletic black man, or an ex miss Alaska almost pornstar beaut, that's what they wanted.

OMG
Yes, niggas say no homo.
Rappers say no homo.
I've heard Lil' Wayne and Kanye West say "no homo".
I thought Huey's reaction to be exactly in-charachter. And if you were surprised by it, you do not really understand huey's battle for black emancipation.
And I like how he didn't explain it too.
OMG, I had no idea whatsofucking ever that one can say 'no homo' in real life.
I always thought this was just some internet thing (on SRK forums at least).
OMG
You serious brah?
Lmao that's epic :V
Eh, the episode was all right. Everyone reacted as expected, although the interviewer was playing on people's strenghths/weaknesses to help ratings: harping on Tom's insecurity, Robert's ignorance of the issues but still blind subservience due to his Civil Rights background; Riley only caring about race; Thugnificient having no clue until he was informed; and Ruckus' "Uncle Tomery". It also showed that despite being a "tough guy", Riley is extremely sensitive to having his feelings hurt. The whole episode's main focus was on him being butt-hurt… I dunno. It just didn't do it for me.
On a side-note, I'm kinda surprised at all the Obama hate on these forums. Would've thought differently. Ah well, no biggie.
To be honest i didnt think that Thugnificent was….kind of retarded. I also dint like the fact that the Lethal Interjection "Crew" wasn't in the episode, but oh well.
This new animation they got going on kind of bugs me, its wierd, everyone is a darker shade of black and we got some wierd looking facial expressions.
I absolutely LOVE the exxagerated facial expressions.
Plus their lips almost wnting to get OUT of their faces when they are talking sometimes is ALSO mad lulz.
The scene where Thugnificent was like "A black man is running fo president and his name is Barack? What the f*** you talkin' bout!?" and his lips were to the side FLOORED me.
OMG, I had no idea whatsofucking ever that one can say 'no homo' in real life.

:ninja:
I gotten into a verbal abusive argument (almost into a fight) with some nagger kids when I was High School when Obama was getting inaugurated.
I kept saying "Nigger" this and that, saying McCain should had won, we deserve
a black presidenta sexy milf as a vice president and future President (McCain is going to die soon) and according to those ignorant monkeys, I'm a disgrace to black people.Yay! :D
wait what? You think you're any better than them? Any black person who refers to himself or anyone else as the n-word or any variation of it obviously doesn't have enough respect for himself or his history to make any valid statement about the state of black people be it in attack or defense…
So based off of one word, you know a person?

Not everything, but if you are suggesting that you can't tell alot about a person from the way they talk you are mistaken…
Anyone that's bothered by the simple word nigger is an over-moralistic pansy. There's nothing wrong with calling a black man/woman a nigger. It's the CONTEXT that matters.
@Thousand:

WTF, please please shut the fuck up, please, if you can't understand the history and how hurtfull this word is.

…Yeah.
Shut the fuck up; you don't know a thing.
Professor Thousand discourses.
I cant see how anyone who finds the word nigga to be extremly hurtful could ever stand to watch the boondocks.
But then again i'm white so i as has been said dont understand anything.
Does anyone ever got bothered when guys like Eddy Murphy go on a comedy skit and use nigger a bunch of times? Of course not, because people know he isn't racist. The word itself is nothing, it's the meaning behind it that matters. Simply being bothered by the letters is dumb.

I think yo missed the point when you spelled it with -er and not -a.
And not to mention Eddie Murphy is fuckin' black.
He gets a free pass.
You however… don't.
Fuck... I don't use that word!
Professor Lion Chan, you should go out into the world and use that exact same argument.
TLS shows once more why he's a fucked up bad poster, funny thing he thinks he's not.
If you really wanna know what the N-word really means, go to a black neighborhood and say the word to a bunch of black guys 'in a totally friendly context' and see for yourself what kind of emotions it unleashes.
And Wolfwood: The boondocks is the vision of a black american on black america, I do not think it would have seen the light of day if a white man made it.
So how do black people feel about other black guys saying nigga every other word?

Basically… unless your an uppity nigga.
In which case you probably get an Uncle Tom thrown at you.
We had a Master Sergeant in the Air Force... biggest black dude I've ever met in my life: 6'5" 200+ lbs of pure muscle and a voice that could match Chopper :V
Dude was basically Dubois and Uncle Ruckus fused in one.
The running joke between us was that he was actually a REALLY tan white dude.
This became more evident when he started watching NOTHING but CMT while at work.
For the uninitiated CMT stands for Country Music Television… let that sink in.
He also stated once whilst we were having a fried chicken dinner (me and my two VERY black buds and HIMSELF munching on dat chicken) that Country Music was the best thing in this God's Green Earth.
The Boondocks came under heavy fire for using the word, actually, especially from the black community - but the reason why I support it being used in that case is because the Boondocks is a satire that is supposed to be representative of black america. You can't avoid the word these days: that people use it in the show and so frequently is implicitly understood by most to be inherently ironic, ignorant, and hypocritical.
So how do black people feel about other black guys saying nigga every other word?
It bugs me.
It's been assimilated into the vernacular enough that it can be pretty funny sometimes, but in general I don't like its use, its ignorant as all hell. Nigger, nigga, nigguh, whatever, bunch of people tip-toeing around using an ignorant ass word. Its current use is part of a culture which keeps black people from being taken seriously at school, at work, and in society (except in the entertainment industry), and it's p. much the foulest word in the English language, no matter how it evolves. And I'm not saying this because I read it somewhere in a history textbook, I'm saying it because I have literally seen and know people who have been passed over for promotions or failed job interviews because they talk like a hoodrat; because they use that word. It is part of a culture that keeps more people down than lifts them up.
I don't like the word on its lonesome, but I especially don't like how frequently young men and women use it because it is on the face of it disrespectful - and all sorts of people use it now, from people from the islands to latinos to rich white kids who've never met a single black person in their lives using it because it's some alluring little secret word that they can use because it's being used so commonly - in whatever context. People don't feel afraid to use it anymore.
That's why here on the internet you can open any youtube video that even has a single black person in it and scroll down to find miles of comments of people calling him a nigger. That's why you can sit down in XBOX live and get called every racial epithet under the sun, get 4chan mouthbreathers posting pictures of watermelons and fried chicken buckets and blackface photos – or apparently open a thread in Arlong Park and get the same damn thing.
TLS lacks the wherewithal to even understand why people are bothered about the word, don't really know what else to feel but bad for him. The rest of you lot who have been dropping it left and right because they've been encouraged to - but clearly don't get it?
Don't.

That legitimately bugs me… because as I said.
I'll never use THAT version which carries hatred.
I've never used the word with that much hatred fueling it before.
When I read that on youtube (cuz it's pretty dominant there) I almost feel a wall of heat in front of me.
Heck just go to the Cody's Theme (from SSFIV youtube), the amount of HATE for black men via the "street song" is almost bafflin'.
So how do black people feel about other black guys saying nigga every other word?
Nigga what? It doesn't matter. In my eyes, I've never seen a black man pissed off over another black man calling him a "nigga".
Unless he's some tight in the ass, sentimental type of nigga.
I know damn well y'all ain't going to listen to story time… but here you go.
Warning: It contains a lot of "n-word".
[hide]I say "nigga" all the time. Shit! I call people "nigger" sometimes.
Like my mother, stepfather, little sister, cousins, best friends…
But… I've seen white dudes multiple times beaten up like crazy over "nigga".
If those monkeys gotten pissed off over "nigga", then I'm definitely sure it's a lot worse saying "nigger".
Which brings in my "asian-like" and only black best friend.
Yeah! I got a black best friend bitch! What's up?!
Anyways… we were in Tennis... Yeah! I was in a Tennis class bitch! What's up?! ...and my accidentally bumped into this asshole chiggar bitch that tried to fight me WITH his friend previously in life. (That's an impressive chiggar. Jumping like a nig)
My friend, who is well liked for his kindness... unlike me, looked at him and said, "Oh, I am sorry.", not "My bads nigga!", but a polite, "Oh, I am sorry."
The Chiggar says, "Watch where you goin' nigga!"
My friend glared for a second, took a deep breath and walked away, looking at me saying, "At least he didn't call me a nigger." I'm like, "Pffft... ehhh.... true, tru-"
"Shut the fuck up nigger!"
I'll NEVER forget this motherfucking day… NEVER.
This was the very first time I've been my best friend... act like a nigga. Yes. He had a "Nigga Moment".
"What nigga?! What was that bitch nigga?! What?! Say it in my motherfuckin' face nigga! I tried to be nice, but what the fuck you do?!"
This dude took off his shirt and posted up to him.
All those asian bitches (that loves him, but hates me for no fucking reason. Whatever. Cunts) were scared! Haha!
What am I'm doing?
"Hit that nigga! Stick that nigga dead in his jaw! He called you a nigger bro! Fuck all that shit! HIT… THAT... NIGGA!!!"
The coach comes towards the Tennis courts...
"Fuck! Bro! Calm down, calm down! The coach is coming! Get this nigga after school bro! They're serving chicken sandwiches today my nigga! Calm down!"
The madness ceased before he gotten there.
I've never heard "nigg-" out of that fat Chiggar's mouth ever again.
The dude apologized to him and everything. (I say bullshit)
But, a week later, he tries to talk to me, because he had about 5-7 niggas lurking for him around the Tennis courts and he's like, "You know them? Please tell them to leave me alone"
I go to the nigs and come to find out, he's been using that powerful "N-word" again.
"You know that nigga bro?" "The fat ass asian guy?" "Yuh! That bitch. He's been talking massive shit. I'ma get that nigga before the end of the day. We all going to jump that chink. Real talk."
I paused and thought for a second...
"Do it."[/hide]
In conclusion… black people are weird and just don't say the fucking "N-word" around them, for sure if you're not black.
Just DON'T. Please. Black people are fucking violent as hell. ESPECIALLY the ghetto ones. They're retarded and violent and that's a killer combo.
No pun intended.
I know it's stupid as hell. But, there isn't a goddamn thing you can do about it.

I was under the impression the two words were synonymous. The fact that Eddy Murphy gets a free pass because he's black only strengthens my argument. Him being black gets him his free pass because people know he isn't racist. It's the context of the word that matters not the letters.
TLS shows once more why he's a fucked up bad poster, funny thing he thinks he's not.
I can hear you barely choking back your tears.
If you really wanna know what the N-word really means, go to a black neighborhood and say the word to a bunch of black guys 'in a totally friendly context' and see for yourself what kind of emotions it unleashes.
So why would the thoughts of the irrational public who would automatically assume the most negative aspects of the word affect my argument in the slightest which is meaning should be more important than the simple word?

First off, Silence, knock off the patronizing bullshit, I assumed you knew me better than that.
Your post on the subject was very accurate and interesting, as per usual, but it doesn't change the fact that people are bothered by the meaning THEY THEMSELVES automatically attribute to the word. They're offended by the meaning however the thing is the letters and the meaning behind them are NOT mutually inclusive or shouldn't be at any rate.
There's a guy who I see constantly and almost every time I do, I call him a bitch and a fag and a ho and an asshole. That guy is my best friend. He doesn't give a shit and actually reciprocates the behavior because that's our thing as best friends. Because we know the context we mean behind our words.
Another example is the Nazi symbol. Until Hitler made use of it, it was a simple Hindu symbol of peace. now it's a symbol of everything evil and unholy. Because people give it that meaning. In the end, it's the meaning that should matter not the representation. Which is why I find it wholly ignorant that Germany bans even showing the symbol. It's just a bunch of squiggly lines. Same with the word nigger/nigga/whatever. Simply saying the word shouldn't be bad. It's what you mean behind it that should count. But of course the real world doesn't work this way since it is wholly fixated on the outside of things which is why if you'd say this at Harlem, you'd get your ass killed.
With that said, I'll post this video which is what first made me even think about the subject and ultimately the opinion of which I wholly agree with.
JZCS5I80X-8
And with that, I'm out of this thread. Peace out.
Edit: Oh and shit, I never noticed but people are under the impression that I'm white? Hahahaha. I'm not.

Mexican? Asian? Terrorist?
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Nazi symbol a REVERSE Swastica?
Kinda like an upside down Cross is an Unholy symbol…
Mexican? Asian? Terrorist?
No, no, no.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Nazi symbold a REVERSE Swastica?
Kinda like an upside down Cross is an Unholy symbol…
Doesn't affect my point in the slightest. You post the normal thing, people would just think it's a reversed swastika. Even though the "reversed" one came first.
And people would still be offended by the symbol even though it's the meaning that should matter yadda yadda.
Ummmmm… if I was Thousand Lion... I'd be...
I always thought TLC was some kind of badly written Turing test program.
I always thought TLC was some kind of badly written Turing test program.
It's TLS now. Get it straight.
Basically TLS's argument is
everything has attributed meaning
nothing has inherent meaning
if everyone ignored the inherent meaning of every offensive object, and instead walked around speaking to each other in a made up, IMAGINATION language where words are instead rainbows and stars, then we would all understand each other! god, i don't even know why the swastika, or effigies of black people burning on crosses, or the n-word even offends anyone, because if you look at the scarecrow of a black man being lynched at a public rally and are afraid, you are giving it power. in truth, there is nothing to fear but fear itself
:D
