I know the cuffs are made out of seastone but they are overall very think in proportion to a bladed weapon. I was more going on the line of that it would be too hard to shape it into a thin piece and then also sharpen it to make a cutting edge.

If they can make Jutte's out of seastone shows they are able to shape it into circular objects easily which would explain the bolts etc. in the cuffs and don't they even line some marine ships hulls with it so they can cross the calm belt? or was that just an anime thing?
Overall I perceive seastone to be like clay/ terracotta just MUCH stronger. it can be shaped into interesting/ useful shapes but not into something such as a blade.

nope its not just anime thing. It was in the manga at Water 7, Coby told Luffy how he got to Grand Line without going over the Reverse mountain.

The legs talking was a gag. The leg talked through farts, but I don't think Luffy and co heard this, because they didn't respond to it or reacted.

About Smoker, Law didn't use "shambles", he used something called "mes", which is the reason for Smoker falling to the ground. But I don't know what this "mes" do exactly.

Maybe it's just for precise sectioning of of organs, where the victim can actually feel them being torn out of their body.

the feeling i was getting from that scene was that smoker wasn't actually going to die, the way law said he didn't have to show smoker anything seemed more like " i don't have too, but i will" so my initial guess is that while law has his heart he may be able to communicate with him, perhaps the goal of the "mes" box is to keep the hearts beating and keep the person alive. And while smoker is only a heart, it's likely law could tell him whatever dirt he has on the marines and smoker would have to listen, we saw in alabasta that even though he's a marine he has a good judgmental eye and can listen without jumping to conclusions/hiding behind his marine code.

The legs did talk, it was a gag and yes it was through the butt. When it was first talking they totally were responding to it's words.

It is an interesting question regarding Law's swapping abilities. Why did smoker fall when it appears his heart is still beating? Maybe because it was in it's own little room. But I don't see why he wouldn't just separate everything from everyone and kill them on the spot.

I doubt Smoker is faking a fall, kind of like Jinbe, because it did seem very genuine, but we'll see.

my theory is that "mes" probably allows smoker's heart to continue to beat in that little box it's in, so law can just return later to put the heart back in the body and he'll be ok… or luffy will interfere before smoker dies and get the heart back.

There's more: before using Mes, Law gestured his hand like he was grabbing something. So I think he needs to mentally picture the thing he wants to control (the same thing that happens when he used "Scan" and removed the Den-Den Mushi from G-5 soldiers)

Mess probably changes the way it's supposed to sound, while one S makes it sound like a Z double S gives, well the S sound.

You're right! I read the part when they seperated the legs from the dragon and they did hear him. What immense farts he must have used.

His bounty in the new Adventure Log, says he is "captured" instead of "deceased".
Still, it's pretty flimsy evidence. I bet we'll see him again, but maybe it shouldn't be written so… Definitively.

In fact if I recall correctly at the conclusion of Impel Down the ships sailing around the prison were shown to have full sails, which makes no sense seeing as Impel Down is within the calm belt.

I mean, Enel's Maxim had it. It's not that hard to believe that Vegapunk would also be able to replicate it.

Well sure, except anytime we get a look at those ships out of water (Strong world and recent chapters on punk hazard come to mind) there are absolutely no sings of any other means of propulsion.
I imagine we'll get an explanation eventually.

I can't remember where I read it, a SBS or databook maybe,(now I'm curious and gonna chech see if SBS has any references to check) but it was said the Marine Battleships (their big ones, not the smaller sized like Fullbody had at the begining) had paddles wheels that we fans couldnt see lol like how we usually can't see the paddle wheels on the Sunny. I don't think the Marines have docks on the side like teh Sunny but with how large the battleships are they likely have hidded compartments that open on the underside that have paddle wheels.

This is a random question that probably doesn't have an answer, but I just want to see what people think. Does the Will of D pass on to all children who's mother/father carried it? Like could the Will of D pass on to one child, but not the other?

Because Kid sunk two of her battleships, which means that he also declared war against her.

I really doubt it.
For one I do think they'll need to defeat Big Mom's crew, probably from Kidd.
The way the story's going, it seems like they'll clash with Big Mom relatively soon (and they're not ready to defeat her completely on their own yet)
So it won't exactly be a "legitimate" defeat, something that makes them seem like they have the power of a Yonkou.
Also they don't really seem to care about territory or influence yet.
They'll probably just end up laying claim to Fishman Island and calling it a day.

I agree that they're not ready to defeat her whole crew yet, I get the impression that once her bag of treasure explodes it's going to end up being like the baroque works where she keeps sending her crew to deal with them, but they're taken out one after another until they finally reach her. It's probably not going to be the case, just a thought.
You're right about the territory and influence, I guess I shouldn't have said "take the title of Yonkou" and more how will the WG react.

I believe that when they defeat big mom they will get the yonkou title.Of course for luffy this means nothing.The only difference for him would be that the fishman island would be under his protection.Although I don't think we are going to see the fight with big mom soon and I don't think Kid is going to help the strawhats or anything

I don't think Kid will help them at all either, if anything he'll be in the way, and it'll be the Straw Hats and Big Mom vs. Kid.
I sure hope it's sometime relatively soon, and not sometime in the next 2-5 years.

I really want to see that battle too but Big Mom is a yonkou…and Luffy can't beat a yonkou right from the start..he needs to beat a couple of New World pirates first and then go to the big thing

oh, my bad.
In my view, even if big mom is lola's mom, A fight or a clash between her crew and the strawhats will still happen. so i don't think they would team up. We'll probably never figure out how will the events take place, oda's kind of impredictable, specially if we still have a long time to go till the fight happens.

if they want to get outside, they need to get a paddle ship and a way for avoiding the seakings, hancock, for example also has a pddle ship and those two snakes scare the seakings because they are really venomous IIRC. I guess it must be quiet difficult, except for fishmen who can just get outside swimming.

Everyone knows how marines do it. It's guys like Don Krieg or say Captain Yorki who are a mystery. And the only way I can guess is by rowing.

Wow, I actually never noticed that Momonga's ship had paddles and the sails were furled.
I just went through the Impel Down volumes and it looks like I was mistaken, ships are always shown with sales furled, although most of the time with no paddles.
I really ought to reread all the volumes at slower pace and start paying more attention to detail, seems like I missed a lot of things.

It didn't stop the giant turtle near Jaya from eating the St. Bliss while it was being raised though.

Apparently they either teleported halfway across the world, or they are a bunch of twins.

They could all belong to the same species?
And technically, they had two years to go from the Grand Line to below the Red Line… It doesn't seem too farfetched to me.

They could be the same species, but it's the exact same group too - there are no additional ones and none are missing. Same frog, poodle neck flamingo thing, and other assorted beasties. Them traveling together from the previous spot over two years is about the only thing that seems to make sense.
It's not like Oda ran out of ideas for critters, all the other neptunias shown prior were different.

They were pirates at the time they killed Brooks crew, and current one piece is happening 52 years later.
So unless Oda introduces us to a band of incredibly powerful 75 and 80-year old pirates, who kill everyone through use of such indisputably mighty means as poisoned weapons I'd say that' a no.
A shipful of senior citizens with poison-tipped arrows just doesn't strike awe into my heart somehow.

Well whitebeard was 72 and he scared anyone who preddy much came across him and dr kureah was 138 so its possible there could be ships full of old blokes.
