How does Franky take his shirt off with such gargantuan robot arms?
I wonder if Mansopp could beat Arlong from 2 years ago…
If he couldn't then the two year timeskip would be a complete waste.

He could just use the same shirt instead of taking it off or put smaller arms on or gets someone like Robin to help with taking his cloths off. :ninja:
There was a chapter/episode with a person standing on the surface of the Grand Line. I tried to find the chapter today but without any results. Maybe one of you knows.
This person could be a white clown like creature on an unicycle but my brain could have made this up.
That's at the beginning of the Drum Arc. I can't remember his name for sure… Chess?... but it's one of Wapol's two top subordinates. And he's not actually standing on the water, but on top of Wapol's huge submarine.
chapter 131.
unless you are talking about aokiji and his bike in wich case it's chapter 303
I have been thinking about this for a little while.
Doesn't it strike anyone as odd that after Luffy has been trained by Rayleigh for 1 year, Zoro by Mihawk for 2 years and Robin by Dragon for 2 years, not one of them seems to know about the Log Pose not working in the New World?
All of these New World pirates should know about it, and I think it's very strange that Rayleigh and Dragon didn't bother to tell something that important to them. What do you think?
16 chars of please tell me whut u think.

Yes that's him. I totally forgot who he was and I have no idea where the unicycle part comes from. It had nothing to do with Aokiji's bike. My mind must be playing tricks on me.
Well at least I know now. Thanks a lot.
How does Franky take his shirt off with such gargantuan robot arms?
It has already been shown he has small robot arms within his gargantuan robot arms.
Speaking of Oda's art, does anyone else PREFER the art from the beginning of the series? I kind of liked the most young feeling of the people at least. Obviously for backgrounds there is no comparison, but for the people I think it was better at the beginning.

Well they are not the navigators so there is no reason for them to know.

Yeah but it makes them more real like if they change with time (for example if the characters did not look different after the two year time skip it would be boring)
Well they are not the navigators so there is no reason for them to know.
Also it would be like Rayleigh telling them what One piece was if they did not learn anything new.
Not much point in going to new places if you already know what is there.

That doesn't make sense.

We know they can work in the New World because Urouge was using one. It's probably something to do with Fishman Island. Still you think that after studying two full years on how to navigate the Grand Line, that Nami would've been prepared.
It has already been shown he has small robot arms within his gargantuan robot arms.
I wasn't aware he could take the big ones off, but then again it wouldn't be unreasonable. However Franky's forearms were still much bigger than his sleeves before the time skip.
Ok.
So did we ever find out what Kuma whispered to Rayleigh yet?
And if not, as I think is the case.
What are the general theories on it?

Nami didn't studt how to navigate, he studied mostly the weather.
I believe this is pretty possible and acurrated about why the log pose isn't working: http://apforums.net/showpost.php?p=2136691&postcount=9588
This thread will be to discuss the possibilities of some of the Rokushiki techniques. Imagine that there is either a human with the physical strength to perform these techniques, or a just a machine that can put the technique in practice.
Geppou, not possible. With the fastest and strongest kick you would just being send more force and weight downward, making you fall quicker.
Shigan, call me crazy, but this should be possible. To get the velocity of a punch, you would take the speed and multiply it by the weight of the punch. You would then take the velocity, and divide it by the size (inches) of the fist. You would then have the force per square inch.
So say you have a punch with the velocity of 200lbs, and the area of the fist is 12 inches, you would be getting around 16 pounds per square inch. The velocity will stay the same but using the finger, which has an area of say 1 inch, you would be getting 200lbs per square inch.
The only issue, would be making sure the bone structure in the finger could take that amount of force. As long as the finger could stay straight, and take that amount of force, Shigan should be possible.
I will post some more later.
Tekkai is possible…..
If you're built like a freight train and are facing the punches of a scrawny adolescent tween.
Geppou is possible...
in the water
Shigan & Tekkai are very possible. Just look at the Shaolin monks - they can take most physical blows very easily - and can pierce another person with just their finger.
^^^ don't believe what you see in kung fu movies :<
Tekkai isn't possible. Tekkai involved being able to harden any part of the body. Even with training, the face can't become that strong. Look at Blueno's rin technique, it involved his leg becoming sharp like steel. Tekkai is impossible.
Didn't that feller Houdini practice Tekkai?
Yeah thats what I am saying, the only Rokushiki Technique that is possible is the life return skill of the great sage of CP9…. j/k
Shigan: Possible in the sense that everyone can poke their opponent - however making your poke strong as a bullet is another thing.
Tekkai: Not possible in the sense that your body becomes like iron - but possible in the sense that you can flex your muscles to better withstand a hit.
Soru: Soru is essentially just running really fast which everyone can train them up to - but not possible in the sense that you have to kick the earth three times and become invisible.
Kami-e: Possible in the sense that you can make your body limp - not possible in the sense that it can become like paper.
Rankyaku: Well, if you kick very hard in the air, you can make a small breeze - but making the breeze sharp as a sword is definitely not possible.
Geppou is completely impossible with real-life physics.
damn. I'm so stupid….
I thought that the Fishman guy said: you'll never be able to cross the New World with a simple pose like that!
But he just said that they can't GET to the new world with it.
I was really hoping they'd get a new, special pose or something...
oh well...
XD…..um so I see the person who made this topic is taking physics for the first time and learned that F=ma
Well mainly the attacks the cp9 used that used air as weapon are not possible you can argue if the other ones can be done.
Sorry, but the whole velocity thing should be common knowledge.
All the air attacks are completely impossible, as everyone knows.
You won't get anything close to Rokushiki showings. The best you have is what many martial artists do all around the world.
Oh and you'd jam your finger if you tried to stab people with it.
in malaysia(city of Melaka) there is a man who breaks coconuts with a finger
in malaysia(city of Melaka) there is a man who breaks coconuts with a finger
His finger's broken though, so I don't think a real life shigan would be a good idea.
Tekkai is absolutely possible. Shaolin monks train to turn specific body parts into "iron." There's an excellent book detailing one dude's quest to learn kung fu called "American Shaolin" and he describes how he acquired iron forearms. There was even a dude with an iron penis who could use it to draw wheelbarrows. I've also seen shaolin warriors perform–for example, a man with an iron head snapping steel rods with his head. It's awesome. Now obviously Oda exaggerates this-- you can't stop bullets with this technique, that would just be inhuman. It defends against blunt trauma only, as far as I know. But since Tekkai has to be activated consciously and real life iron limbs are always iron, real life has that over Oda's take on it.
Kami-e is kind of possible, but obviously not to the extremes Oda takes it.
Obviously every other rokushiki technique is just absurd. Full on cartoon physics there.
I don't know about you guys but I fight by making blades with my kicks.

There is one man who was known to do just that. If I find the link to it I will send it to you. But Gliblord is right, there are things that the human body is capable of that would blow your mind. Also for those who say nay, stabbing someone with a finger is absolutely possible.
I practised shigan when I was young, and worked in a shop.
Originally, I used the technique on plastic'd 6 packs of sodas to get them open. Soon after I worked my way up to cardboard boxes. It's a really effective way to open sealed packages, making a knife obsolete
I haven't tested this technique on a living subject but some textures of matter are naturally more resilient to blunt force than others… So the extent of the effectiveness of this technique may vary from matter to matter. It should behave similar to bullets though I guess - only on a different scale of power.
Now about the 5 other techniques
Kami-e - That's just ridiculous on a Keanu Reeves scale
Soru - 10 kicks to the ground in a second, making an explosion and moving in a controlled direction continuously... Personally I'd just rip apart doing that
Tekkai - Well it seems to have some history in culture
Rankyaku - This is not possible
Geppou - I'm not even in the mood to describe how absurd this would be in reality
Reminds me of that naruto fan who buried himself in the sandlot head first because he thought he could do ninjutsu. I wonder if Zetsu even picked him up as a zombie corpse.
Question! I was re-reading the Long Ring Long Land piece and Aokiji mentions "Smoker's silly message". Was it ever mentioned? I couldn't remember.

It has actually failed to re-enter the story as of yet,.

It actually works pretty well on small children, but not nearly as well on people over 14.

Wasn't it to "tell them to shove off/eat crap", though?
@Rex:
Wasn't it to "tell them to shove off/eat crap", though?
One can wonder.
I think it was something Ao Kiji would not normally say. So it could be something like that.
