Unanswered question: "that Oda might have the answer"
1.Why the revolutionary was created? for what purpose?
How can sanji "survive" at tran island?
Does Nami wear panties or thongs? srry i have a human curiosity…
What was Oda's favorite cartoon show when he was a kid? "hopefully ultraman ace, godzilla, voltron"Out of question:
2.Does Oda likes his eggs scrambled or fried?
Is Oda a god? if so then prove it?
If someone says pirate vs. ninjas? who would win? -
What was Oda's favorite cartoon show when he was a kid? "hopefully ultraman ace, godzilla, voltron"
I heard he liked (and still likes) "Tom and Jerry" and "Vicky the Viking"!
Those two are part of my favourite childhood shows. So even though he wasn't into Voltron I daresay Oda has great taste! ^^ -
@Flame-Fist:
An army of Okama is currently trying to rape sanji in Okama island. So yes, they are transexuals and tranvestites at the same time.
They're not trying to rape him. How does that answer the question?

Is Wanze Oda's tribute to Naruto?
-
Why does Blackbeard steal apparel ideas from other big name characters in the event he's involved with.
We all saw how he got him some Ace style beads and ignoring the anime, he got himself a coat exactly like Bellamy's. Whats next, WB's bandanna? Meh, Probably just a bigass scar to remember the old man by.

He already wears a black bandana. Maybe you're on to something.

…holy crap I never even noticed that before. I see it.

anyone know why Gan Fall doesn't have wings on his back?
was this asked in an SBS or anything similar? -
@supertramp:
anyone know why Gan Fall doesn't have wings on his back?
was this asked in an SBS or anything similar?Wow thats a good question, I have no idea. I bet it will be explained that his family never came from the moon, all those years ago, and that his parents probably came from the blue sea.
What are the Log Books?

I know he theoretically could since he punched through Blueno's Tekkai which is supposed to be as strong as steel and Zoro has been doing it since Arabasta, but I can't think of any instances off the top of my head where Luffy is blatantly shown punching through steel without Gears. Does anyone know of any?
-
I don't know if this counts(it should) but back in east blue Luffy completely shattered Don Kriegs armor, which I believe was labeled harder than steel. I recall that his amor was the strongest in the world, though thats what he said about himself. I think its safe to assume that Kriegs armor is harder than steel and Luffy for a long time has been more than capable of breaking it.

@John:
He punched through steel when he fought the franky family
he needed gear third to destroy the huge doors at enies lobby, and his hits bounced off the doors when he fought enel…............but i think if he focuses a punch then he can destroy metal, that is if its not massive. like the example above, he can do it
I think his hits bounced off the doors when he fought Enel because he was doing it intentionally to have them bounce off. Luffy can most likely control the strength of his attacks, just like a normal person could. And do you have exact manga chapters or pages for the Franky Family thing? That would be a great example if true.

This is a good example as well. Does anyone have any others?

@John:
Here's the chapter, this and the next page show the scene where luffy destroys the armour, i can only assume its metal?
http://z.about.com/d/politicalhumor/1/0/V/F/2/brokeback-obama.jpgAnd personally for me the enel scene was kind of confusing because if the hits are strong enough to rebound and still hurt then surely they should have been powerful enough to wreck the door? maybe it was really thick?? anyway its not really that worthy of a discussion so i'l stick with my example of the franky families armour
I think there was something about the structure of the ship itself that made it possible for the punches to rebound. Luffy could of definitely destroyed it if he wanted to, given everything he did previously.

Here's a question: what do you think about those giant, mysterious monster things with glowing eyes we saw in the fog in the Florian Triangle?
This question doesn't necessarily have an answer, but man, that's one of those cool spooky touches. I wonder if they'll ever get back to that?

Why didn't franky speak to raleigh throughout the Shabondy arc, after all frankies tutor tom-san was the one that made his ship, the most famous ship in the world (oro Jackson)
surely franky would have questions about the ship or perhaps the past in relation to tom-san? Even such questions as, where is it, how well did it perform, you know what i mean, something at least…....

I'm sure the ship will be part of a great adventure the SHs will have in the new world :) Imagine it when they will find after such a great adventure "the oro jackson" :) With a lot of treasures in it…

So do you think roger left his entire treasure horde inside, after all he said everything he had was gathered together, perhaps this was what raleigh was going to elabourate on before luffy stopped him…hmmmmm....i always thought one of the old crew members would still have it but perhaps not, after all the most likely candidates have already been excluded from possible keepers
at first i thought the treasure was actually on an island, but now im starting to think its on the ship, maybe this is why it wasn't covered on Shabondy, as usual ive dug up more questions than answered:sad:
Way to go magneticmonkey

Franky would cream his speedos if they found "Oro Jackson" in somepoint. Could be hilarious.

because ejaculation is comedy gold!
anyway, MagneticMonkey makes a great point. Roger said he left everything he had in one place, So unless his ship turned out to be nakama like Merry and possibly Sunny, then it would be a possesion.
-
Since that Gear 3rd thread was closed and no one saw this, well:
-

Makes me wonder if the Oro Jackson had a spirit like merrys. If this is the case then I doubt they would have left the ship. Perhaps there is one of the roger pirates remaining with it.

that's exactly my thinking

Are there Zone Types which are of mythical creatures like Dragons or Griffins or whatever?
-
Well as far we know, there are the main types of zoan and there are the Ancient Zoans as Drake is known to posesss. But as far as mythical creatures, we don't have any evidence, but I believe they will show up at some point.

No chapter this week ?
-
It's golden week so no jump at all if i got it right. I'm 100% sure there is no chapter this week. It has been said in the spoiler thread and in the official chapter thread. Believe it!
-
Thank you, I thought Golden Week was last week, hence the two chapter-free weeks in a row. My mistake.
-
no it was one week without chapter (Oda took a break or something like that) then chapter 540 then golden week.

Can Brooke die in water?
Since he's already dead and doesn't need to breathe (He has no lungs afterall), would he just sink to the bottom and stay there until someone found him?
-
We covered something relating to this already. Since he has just as much a pair of lungs as he does a digestive track, he CAN sufficate. However, as a Paramecia, he would stay alive long enough to sufficate; as demonstrated by Luffy in Arlong Park, the changes to the body cannot be undone by the sea.
However, this is the prime advantage to his light-weightedness-he won't submerge as long as he runs like the Jesus Christ lizard.
-
I wonder if brook dies, will he resurrect again or was the fruit just a one time use thing. If he does come back I fell sorry for him, to live forever like that would suck.
-

"The Yomi Yomi no mi allows you to return. That is, it gives a normal human the promise of two lives."
Also: "So the only thing the fruit does now is make you a hammer in sea water, right?"
Arguably the fruit still "functions" in that it has made him capable of being alive without the vast majority of his body, but otherwise that seems to be it.
If he does come back I fell sorry for him, to live forever like that would suck.
Yeah, I don't know why fans seem to be overwhelmed with the desire for Brook to be some kind of immortal, unkillable being - he's outlived almost everyone he ever cared about already, it'd be a bit sick to make him do it again. And again. And again. :sad: (Plus he did promise Yorki that they'd all meet again someday, and they sure as heck can't do it in the land of the living now. (I am ignoring the people who think Brook should stop having music powers and become some kind of cliche necromancer that would disturb his friends' rest for kicks.) And we all know that promises in One Piece always get kept eventually.)
That would be rather against the spirit of adventure anyway, if everyone else is risking their lives and he's just sort of there not risking anything.
EDIT:
@climhazard:Since he's already dead and doesn't need to breathe (He has no lungs afterall)
Where do you guys keep getting this? Brook breathes all the time. More than a few scenes in Thriller Bark were specifically him gasping for breath after prolonged running about. Furthermore we HAVE a canon scene of him going overboard, after which he was choking and gasping like everyone else.
I don't know how you can miss this stuff.
-
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/443/06/
Brook clearly states the the fruit user has two lives. So I think it's safe to say that his next death is his final death.
-
@Mushroom:
I don't know how you can miss this stuff.
That's what you get when readers skip all the parts that aren't fighting. :U
Anyway, your post: +10000[…]00000But yes, it irks me how no one seems to notice this kind of stuff. Missing details from time to time is alright, but something that was written black on white in the speech bubbles? I'm pretty confused.
-
Brook can die happy once the reunion of laboon and crocus-san.
The two lives yea its really hard to explain but corpses do rot right? -
I'm going to say no, since the anime had to go out of its way in the 10th opening to angle her sarong billowing in the Dramatic Wind in such a way that she wasn't exposed.
The Amazons probably just go commando anyway.
-
That's the answer I wanted to hear…
My Hancock campaign is going to be great now.But thanks to you I'll probably never see this opening in the same way again...
I'm already seeing Urogue pop up from everywhere, now I have to worry about getting flashed!
Vote for Urogue! Shameless advertising for the win! -
Does Don actually mean anything in Japanese?
Or does do it with a Don mean absolutely nothing?
-
@Doa:

You mean like that sound effect "don!"? I think it's just Japanese onomatopoeia for "boom!"
Unless you're talking about something else…
-
Tom-san says, "Do it with a Don!"
And I wondered if something was lost during translation or if it really did mean nothing.
-

Don is an adjective whichs meaning in the sound it makes thats what an onomatapia (sp) is. Oda uses it through out the manga (it's in big japanese letters (どん or ドン)) as an atmopherical device much like a bang of a large drum, DON!!!
when Tom says "do it with a don" he means make it big/loud/impressive/extrodanary worthy of oda drawing a big どん

Oh I see. Makes sense when explained. How manly, this should be Kamina's motto

So I was close XD That's good; better than being completely off…
