Surprisingly, I'm actually a major Sanji fan, but I thoroughly believe Luffy's attacks are the coolest in One Piece. Why? Because they're frickin weird, and weird is cool! So, what's ur top 10 or 5 or whatever?

Hah, I was just thinking about making this kinda thread.
I like the single hitting big blow ones the best.
The Gatling and Storm ones are neat and all, but the big one hitters are the ones that make me cringe the most.
The Bowgun and Bazooka he finishes Wapol with are just boss. I also like the Axe he brutalizes Arlong with. OH, the crazy piledrive type move he did on Don Krieg was awesome. He NEEDS to bring that one back.

yeah, that move he finished DK (Donkey Kong, Don Krieg, lol) with was the Gum Gum Giant Gavel, or Gum Gum Hammer in the 4kids dub.

I like Storm, not because it's obviously the strongest, but because it's so freakin weird at the beginning.
Storm = Many, Many Rifles.
That's why Storm is stronger than even Jet Gattling.

Anyway, a few thoughts...
I'm a big fan of Gum Gum Robot, which he uses to get into Enies Lobby. It just brings home the fact that, though Luffy is generally a fairly principled guy, his fighting style is totally unencumbered by any kind of 'warrior code', unlike Zoro and Sanji- He has very few problems with hitting women or animals if has to, or using human shields, biting an enemy or attacking from behind. He's just making it up as he goes along, with his famous 'instinct', which is what makes his battle so interesting.

Bellamy Punch.
Say whatever you want, it's an attack.

I would just call it a simple punch. It was nothing special, the force from Bellamy's launch caused most of the damaga.
As for me, Gomu Gomu no Volcano. I'm not sure why, it just seems to look cool.

Im not sure Bellamys launch added anything to Luffys punch. luffy beat him downwards into the ground while the applied force on Bellamy was parallel to it…
Favourite move: enemy specific stuff like when he steals Arlongs jaw, Water Luffy and Rubber baka/octopuss
What the…? Holy smurf am I slow! Until this statement of yours I never even realized that an octopus is actually serving octopusballs. Talk about not seeing the forest because of too many trees. facepalm

He's so stupid, he can turn his brain off. And function slightly better, in fact. -
Luffy doesn't twist his arms for storm.
But it's the spinning motion what gives Rifle the Drill force, and that's why he could easily send Crocodile flying trough only god knows how many lays of solid stone. Even Lucci had to use an advanced form of Tekkai to counter a single Rifle.

No, he could punch Croc through that bedrock because he's punching him hard as hell. Also storm's spin is so much slower than rifle's spin.

Anything involving Gear 3rd. I hope that sees more use in the future arcs. Gigant pistol really should have been the end of that battle.

My favorite by far is Gomu Gomu no Rifle., and second place is Gomu Gomu no Bazooka, and Gomu Gomu no Cannon. Gigant Rifle has amazing potential.
