Is there a faster way to download scanned images to photobucket? I tried downloading them from the file and waited an hour…..nothing. And I tried downloading them from the desktop.......still nothing. Is there a way I can do this faster? And if not is there any other site that will do it fast enough?

Your browser might have timed out because the image was too large.

Make sure the image isn't some giant piece of shit, then try again.

I checked it. The image is the size of some regular blank paper.

Photobucket usually doesn't let you have pictures over a certain size ^^ Even the premium account has its limits.

Try using imageshack or imagevenue, you can upload larger images there.

…how big are the files you are trying to upload? ever try resizing in photoshop? There is a 'save for web' feature in there, you can adjust the quality so that it doesn't kill the load time when you upload. Also, if your image is more than 1000 px wide, then I suggest changing it to that, max, so that people don't have to do so much scrolling. But if its for a scan of something that for some reason has to be big, then you may have to sacrifice quality for quantity I guess. Also, make sure to save it as a jpeg.

Also, if you don't have photoshop, there has to be a way to resize the images or save them in a bit lower quality if they are that big of files. As a general rule, you shouldn't upload such enormous files, not everyone has lightning speed internets XD

I'm pretty sure the image isn't that big….

I've uploaded wallpapers onto photobucket before, and it just resized it. check your settings for photobucket.
