It´s dumb, it´s dirty and full of racistic jokes… but i´m loving it^^
"Drawn together" is not he ordinary cartoon show starring totally bad parodies of superman, spongebob and a disneyprincesses... is and not suited for children (watch it and you know what i mean).
what do you think of it?
Drawn together

-
"Unwatchable garbage" is what I think of it.
Stewart and Colbert aren't enough justification for this and the other shit on Comedy Central being aired.
-
At first I didn't like it very much but 2nd season and up grew on me.
-
This show definitly has its moments…. I started getting into it until I discovered the awesome that is Metalocalypse! >:3
-
I tried watching it, I really did, but I think the networks should just give up on adult cartoons. 'Cause this show's pretty terrible (as is Freakshow, which I thought was marginally better, but still bad). Unfortunately, since everyone and their brother is completely obsessed with Family Guy, that's rather unlikely.
Comedy Central needs less bad cartoons, and more Flight of the Conchords.
-
The way they portrayed Link was funny, and Pikachu's parody character was freaken hilaurious. I have only seen this show about seven-ten times total though.

GAY PEOPLE
HA HA HA HA HA HA
-
They should get rid of this and fucking Lil' Bush. Really, Comedy Central cartoons are made of shit.
-
I won't deny the show is pretty terrible.
but I got a few cheap laughs from it. XP
-
I think the only thing I've ever laughed at from this show was that one scene at the end of an episode with Nazis riding around on dinosaurs.
It tries too hard to be offensive and doesn't try at all to be funny.
-
@Cap'n:
Ha ha ha ha
GAY PEOPLE
HA HA HA HA HA HA
That sounds pretty odd coming from you.
The show lacks creativity. It feels like every other edgy show there is. The characters are nothing to write home about either.
I kinda like Li Bush. Despite coming out way too close towards the end of Bushs presidency it has its moments.

The thing about lil bush is that bush humor was tired to begin with. I mean it was bad enough seeing the 30 bush sketches on every sketch comedy show. and those stopped being funny after the first one you saw.
How they thought a full-length cartoon was a good idea is beyond me.
-
True, but I like how they mock other politicians as well. It has a much bigger focus on that than Bush jokes.
-
The three worst shows on Comedy Central:
-Mind of Mencia
-Lil Bush
-Drawn Together -
I saw it once (was out of town, no cable at home)… the most amusing sequence was when the video-game hero (Link clone) was suicidal and kept stabbing himself, only to come back with a figure above his head "Lives x 49"

I'd like to think there's a difference between calling something "gay" and making half of my jokes "gay people are really feminine and like it in the butt! Ha ha ha!" It's like a raunchier Will and Grace.
Li'l Bush is pretty much the same "ha ha ha ha Bush is dumb ha ha arabs" garbage that've been recycled over and over for the past 7 years. That's My Bush did a much better job at it anyway.

Those are old too. (Cheney is a crazy evil bastard, Blair is bush's bitch)
It's just all that stuff has been done to death already, so stretching those jokes to a half an hour seems ridiculous.
-
George Bush Sr. is a crazy evangelist, Al Gore is a dork, blah blah.
-
Drawn Together is a tremendous waste of….everything.
I can't believe garbage like that was renewed beyond it's pilot.
-

You're guilty of both, but yes there is a difference.
I miss that"s my Bush. Truely one of the best shows Comedy Central has run. All the really good programing Comedy Central airs gets cancelled or moved to another station.
-
New South Park, Colbert, Stewart, And Reno 911 is all I watch on CC, which is only when South Park has its new season or I see Stewart/ Colbert on while I am flipping channels.
This show is garbage. Carlos Mencia is garbage. Lil Bush looks like Garbage. And then there is Halfway Home, which blows. I caught a few mins as I was turning off South Park. Pure utter crap.
-
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Sarah Silverman's show.
-
…she ruined the season premiere of Monk two days ago. She is so unfunny and annoying.
-
@Pass:

The Sarah Silverman Program is awesome. Black God turns cops into Bugles. Sorry, I'm a huge fan of Mr.Show, and that I'm totally all over that ridiculous sort of humor.
-
I never gave it a chance
I"ve always hated Sarah Silverman"s style of humor even before her show -

He isn't wrong, Link is gay in the show, Not so sure about that pikachu dude though since I never say that much of the show.
Which brings up the question, why do adults tend to love everything massively stupid and disgusting? I mean massively, take some new adult swim shows for example. I don't know if it is just me but I prefer jokes that relate to real life like Family Guy/Simpsons/American does it.
-

Because they don't.
The tweens watching it beyond their bedtimes do.
-
Yea, my little brothers who are still in the "CURSING IS FUNNY" stage of pre-adolescence love the show.
on another note, I find that new show "Body Shop" to be pretty good. Best new show on Comedy Central in a LONG time. The 2 episodes they've shown have had me laughing more than the new reno episodes.
I compare the two because you can definitely tell it's the same show, different profession and characters.
-
Ah heck I'm going to get flamed for this I know. I actually really like Drawn Together. I've watched it since its started simply for the fact that it does push the button. Yes there is some low brow stuff but some of the plots are so freakin messed up you can't help but laugh. Its probably going to get canceled once the season 3 airs its second part. There are a few weak episodes I've seen I'll admit but most have been at least funny.
Comedy Central has been really lacking though in good stuff lately. Colbert, the Daily Show, and South Park are really the only shows I still watch it for. Lil Bush, Freakshow etc have just been boring and pathetic.
-

wow i already believed i was the only person on this planet, that actually likes this series and was planning to look for a therapist^^ now i´m relieved…
-
There are parts of this show that are moronic and childish I'll agree but some of the plot lines are just so random, so silly that you can't help but laugh your head off. Clara's Car Crash Addiction for one comes to mind.
-
They need to renew Win Ben Stein's Money.
-
How was this canceled?
I saw on one of the pop-up spoofs that it was considered a bad series finale as a joke. but really ? a series finale already? the show didnt seem to really be a good show anyways. -
The real question is:
How wasn't it canceled sooner
-
Like someone said it has it moments but I couldn't get into it. Tries too hard to be offensive. Granted FG and SP are the same but at least have a plot to stand on. Here it just one dirty joke after another throw at us just because they can. I swear if it wasn't on Comedy Central, the show wouldn't have last past its first season anywhere else.
-
For every one good joke in the show, there were 10 painfully horrible jokes that were a result of them trying too hard to get shock laughs.
So in a way, it was slightly more entertaining than the Sarah Sliverman show.
-
I liked the pilot episode. And I thought the next two episodes after that were fine (although they coulda played off Xander being a closet-case for a little while longer).
Then, for the next season and a half, the show sucked donkey balls. However, the most recent episodes, I actually found watchable.
For those of you who can't stand the show, take solace in the fact that it hasn't been renewed for a fourth season, and judging from the creators comments, it probably will never be. Personally, I could go either way.
-
I personally like this show, its has the kind of potty humor I would come up with myself.
-
With any luck, they'll redo the premise but with better writing and characters.
Who among us would not want to see Demona beat up Sasuke for eating the last cupcake in the fridge?
-
Who among us would not want to see Demona beat up Sasuke for eating the last cupcake in the fridge?
Everyone.
same as it ever was.
-
Well I will say, I love Drawn Together. 12 year old and Donkey gag never get old for me. I agree Mind of Mencia is the worst show ever on CC, and another terrible show is Freak Show.
-
Meh,I thought the first season of Mencia was good, but I thought he started running outta material towards the end of season two. Season three was nothing but recycled shit.
-
Well, whatever, I've always loved "Drawn Together" because there's so many different kinds of jokes going on. I've been able to look past the "tries too hard to be offensive" stuff because, frankly, I never thought that was the only thing going for the show.
-
I'm a fan of the show, but unlike some other adult cartoon shows I find it difficult to watch the same episode more than twice.
Past a sick perverse jock, Captain Hero actually has a bit of character development, and pretty much makes the show.
Thought it was a little weird that Toot and Clara switched personality roles somewhere in series 2. Wonder whether that was an in joke to do with them having the same voice actress or whether it was due to Toot coming off as a pathetic empathy character, whilst Clara's racist remarks made her unpopular…
-
I think it was just a matter of the show's crew having fun and not caring about how the show developed
-
I too am a big fan of Drawn Together. I find it more enjoyable than South Park. But I must say, I prefer the older seasons over the newer. Seasons 1 & 2 were funny shit. Seasons 3 & 4 had their moments, but overall were pretty meh. Mostly because some of the characters personalities were swapped between seasons 2 & 3. At first, Toot was the bitch and Princess Clara was the ditzy innocent one. The roles were later reversed and just didn't seem to fit. At first, Xandir was the happy-go-lucky rainbow homosexual and Captain Hero was the uninterested guy telling the homo to "STFU". Later the roles were reversed, seemed unfitting. Had they kept the personalities in order all the way through, I may have enjoyed the later seasons too.
