right now we don`t need in my eyes for every shichibukai a seperated thread.

moria had his thread back when thriller bark was to us readers introduced…his time is gone..iam sry..iam also crying every night till i sleep cause of that:sad:
LOL! The next shichibukai that will be put in action is DoFlamingo for sure,
So maybe make a thread about him or sumthing,
maybe he's opponent in SH will be Sanji haha a random guess
mhh i don`t know…
maybe we will first see more about kuma...
and also fishman island should be near now(said that about 100 times so far lol) so jinbei should be in the spotlight first in my eyes..

his time is not gone yet….he still has a lot shit hiding from us. remember robin states he's a man of mysteries and i think that island where perona and zoro is at is moria's hometown. <----just a dumb prediction lol. well anyways, his fight with kaido is not really shown to us so yeah
Maybe Moria will be the major villain again next arc, prays!
And again in the arc after that!
Maybe Moria has onepiece, and his real home is on Raftel!
maybe moria IS one piece
than you all should dumb up the old moria-thread when he will be again the focus of the story :)
what happen to all shichibukais?? they didnt do much in the war:sad:
@Mark:

I don't think any of them really cared who won or lost. They just showed up to save their spots, and maybe have a little "fun".

Moria is still shitting blood in some corner and dreaming of how many corpse he can haul from this war, drooling in the process.
Doflamingo is enjoying it like some kid in a theme park. He doesn't really care about the outcome of this war.
Hancock is so busy in taking a glimpse of Luffy, imagining things once in a while. She doesn't want to be in it in the first place.
Kuma is … uhmm ... still not talking, just shooting random Lazers around.
Mihawk is fighting some random fodders, deliberately ignoring better prey like WB and some other WB pirate commanders.
Can't be helped. They don't care who wins, they just went their to fullfill their obligations as a Shichibukai. You can't expect them to go 100% in this war, they were just push into it.
Damn. I'm most looking forward to the replacement shichibukai after this war.
I hope he's admiral level. Maybe with BB's entry the new trend of shichibukai will be colors and all of the current shichibukai will be replaced.
I'm beginning to think Kuma won't count anymore if his mind is gone for good. I mean dude does have an army of look alikes.
I would like if the shichibukai dismantle after the war, they are only a few now
and the younkou also completely remodeling OP world balance power

I was thinking about that. I wouldn't be surprised if the marines would just dissolve the shichibukai altogether after this. They were only there because they were ordered to be there. Jimbei, of course, quit. Hancock never wanted to be there anyway (and is spending more time helping Luffy than anything). Doflamingo doesn't care either way…he just likes the craziness. Blackbeard never showed up (at least not yet). Moria hasn't done much of anything besides fanboy Oars Jr. And Mihawk, while pretty active in this war, hasn't really impressed any.
It's not like the marines really trust them anyway.

The marines never trusted them though…the shichibukai aren't actually there to do anything outside of taking down a pirate crew every once in a while...the only thing that matters about them is their name and how famous they are in order to dissuade pirates from well…pirating. The marines knew well enough that very few if any of the shichibukai gave a shit about their duties.
Buggy for Shichibukai…
Good lord….that would be scary. XD
Buggy for Shichibukai…
Haha…i would LMAO if that happened.
In reality though...how pissed would you guys be if Moria was the last enemy for Luffy?

buggy could be that… I'm prepared for it if it happens.
I'd be outraged at Moria being the final guy... I'd feel that this is the worst ending ever...

I'd be seriously pissed. Talk about a lame way to end things.

I doubt it. Very soon, the New World is going to have 9 new rookie crews bound to stir things up, add in the death of Whitebeard, the guy who was the long-term power there, the destruction of Marine HQ, the flood of powerful ID escapees let out by Blackbeard, and the vacuum of power of the other Yonkous, the Shichibukai will be even more important in being the Marines' arm to pry into the New World.
I think the Shichibukai will play a very very important role buy testing him and his crew. so far luffy beat crocodile and Moria and got own by Kuma. Zoro fought Mihawk and go town as well
Buggy would actually be one of the best Shichibukai ever. Don't you know he's the prophet? He was practically Gold Roger's right hand man! He even fought with mihawk, aokiji, and is gonna take whitebeard's head.
He would generate fear wherever he went, no doubt. Just so long as nobody actually challenges him, that is. :D

He has many followers willing to lay their lives on the line for the taste of his holy rum and the teachings of the "One Piece"
If one dares to fight the prophet, the God of the Prophet lets out his mighty eraser, far worse than how Wyper erased the Eraser Pirates…
For Buggy's protection is unmatched...
Nice…the wholesome religion of Buggy the prophet is spreading flashily.
He can be Jimbei's replacement.

I can add a bible quote about this… It'd be based upon Jinbei being the helmsman and Buggy opening the Gates of Justice as well as leading them to battle...
Something like:
"As I drove the ship of death towards the battle of Marineford... When I saw Buggy the Prophet open that gate-- I knew... Then and there... That I shall forevermore revoke my affiliation with the World Government due to his preachings... Buggy, he-- he was the man that was destined to take my spoke. It was his will that guided me and I followed it with all of mine." [Jinbei 90: 14]

I would love that!

That is the most likely case.
Shichibukai was used as a tool to keep the balance of power in the world. Now that Kuma cyborgs/Pacifista are complete, the volatile shichibukai is more of a liability than asset. Shichibukai's use as a proxy navy to ward against the yonkou did nothing to prevent Whitebeard from damaging the marines.
From the stand point of the Marines. Two shichibukai were taken out by the son of the Revolutionary, Luffy. Another, Jinbei is shown to have turned against them, if not out right allied with Luffy. Hancock is openly anti-government and barely reliable. The newest member freed 3 dangerous pirates that could very well be at the level of shichibukai. That shows how unreliable they are.
Individually, it might even be better to simply eliminate the shichibukai and take their territories under direct Marine control.
Jinbei controlled a key locale in the Grand Line - Fisherman Island. Simply taking him out and use the Pacifista to secure Fisherman Island will halt much of future threats entering/exiting the New World and weaken all the problems there.
Amazon Lily makes a good forward Marine base in the Calm Belt. Having it under direct control is also better than having to go around an island of government hating pirates.
Blackbeard, he is just a time bomb.
All signs pointing to them being a liability. In addition, the fall of Shichibukai and the balance of world power would bring the Revolutionaries into play.
Hancock took out many Pacifista (true they didn't attack back, but she was still able to defeat them). I don't see how the Pacifista can replace the Shichibukai when the Shichibukai are so much stronger than the Pacifista.
Also, the World Government is weakened as it is (Enies Lobby, Impel Down, Marineford). They're not really in a position where betraying their allies would benefit them in anyway. For the 6 remaining warlords to be their enemies again would be disastrous for them when they are in a weak state.

no no no its ….suprise suprise!! moria is the final boss.......................
luffy become emo like when ace died ...
well anyways the war should end pretty soon cuz BB already appeared and shichi's havent done anything useful except mihawk being an ass to luffy
PLEASE ODA USE THEM!!
Re-watching Thriller Bark.
Why do I feel so sorry for Moria? Feels as if all the things he said to Luffy were said to him before by Kaidou.

The way the Pacifista is portrayed suggests they are the new front line warriors. One Pacifista alone can be enough to hinder and wear down a crew of pirates.

I hope that certainly is the case. However, I somehow don't get the feeling that the rather heavy losses they suffer will hurt them as much as we all like to imagine. They do control much of the world after all.
Either way, I do agree that the Revolutionary Army will take advantage of the World Government being weaker (with or without the Shichibukai still in place) to challenge the World Government's rule over the world. They've already liberated Tequila Wolf recently and I'm sure they're liberating other places while most of the marines are all at Marineford.

The question now is if the World Government is strong enough to actually retain the Shichibukai or will they go carve up this side of the Grand Line as some of them intended?
Considering the plot, I think the Shichibukai might take on a whole new meaning after this arc is over.

I'm growing more confident every day that they'll be a big part of the Fishman Island saga along with slavery, Mariejoa, the nobles, the gorousei, etc. Mostly because it'll be "now or never" for half of that stuff, and the timing all fits perfectly.
So with Teach forfeiting his title, that makes 3 former Shichibukai who are going to be free after this war. Of all the new bounties that are bound to show after this war, I'm most interested in learning the new bounties of the ex-Shichibukai since Crocodile and Jinbei has had their bounties frozen for years and Teach has never even had a bounty before. What kind of bounties are fitting for ex-Shichibukai?
That's a good question. There are a few things to consider. Luffy only got a 100 mil bounty for defeating Crocodile, so it's hard to imagine that they'll give Croc a major increase based solely on his strength. What he does have under his belt, though, is the big Arabasta fiasco combined with all of his knowledge of secret government technology. I think those two factors are more likely to contribute to a bounty increase than the strength he gained over the years.
Literally anything could happen with Jinbei, but I feel like his bounty won't change all that much. I see that as a scenario like with Robin. She appeared after 20 years to keep the same bounty she was charged with when she was an 8 year old. After Enies Lobby, plus the 20 years she managed to evade the government, she only got an increase of 1 million, lol. Her perceived threat was that of strictly knowledge, though, which didn't really change. Jinbei's is likely based on strength, instead.
Blackbeard is the most interesting case since he defeated Ace and will likely prove that he can stand toe to toe with an admiral. I expect Luffy to hit a billion (based on actions like hitting a noble and his haxi blast, not strength), and it would make sense for Blackbeard to surpass him.
Jinbei's is likely based on strength, instead.
To expand I bit I always felt it was for his potential to pull off a Fisher Tiger on a grander scale with sea kings, fishmen, and merfolk. Underwater militia if you will. He basically proved some of that when he rampaged on the marines denying to go to the war on their side.
I figure he will have a significant bounty increase but nothing too big.
After the war there will be no more Shichibukai. You people don't seriously think that are going to search for 3 replacements? After Moria was deafeted by Luffy they said they don't replace Moria because people knowing about the deafeat of another one so shortly after Crocodile would people not take them seriously anymore. After this war there is absolutely no point in having Shichibukai.

is this a joke….. if so it's a bad one
The shichibukai are no sports team where every week a few new ones join and old go. It was those 7 pirates that were known to be shichibukai and people knew that and other pirates feared them that's why it worked but if they are replaced like meaningless marionettes every few weeks then there is no point. How are people in the op world are even going to keep up who's in and who's out this week. They could print a daily "shichibuksi newspaper" for people who really wanna know like "oh last week pirate x is in but wait yesterday he got beaten by Strawhat so now he's replaced by pirate y but wait again he attacked a marine ship today so he's out again and replaced by pirate z and so on but again there would be no point.

i agree that they won't fill the new spots but if you really think they'd get rid of them all together then you clearly haven't seen how important they are throughout the series
no rookie pirates are going to willfully take on shichibukai, people not afraid of mihawk please did you see the rookies when they thought they were fighting kuma, please the shibukai are one of the three powers they need them there's still 3 yonkou out there and there a major part in the story i don't see them getting rid of them all together, but i do agree they won't replace BB, and jinbei, and i still think hancock might not get her title taken away for some odd reason
The Shichibukai will be no more purely because none of them will have a reason to want to keep their positions after the war is over. I doubt WB will be the only major blow to the balance of power once Teach is through.
I think Shichibukai does bring up an interesting point.
While the WG would really want to keep the shichibukai, the problem is is the balance of power.
The Shichibukai, the World Government, and the Yonkou have been established as a very delicate balance of power.
Remember how the world flipped out when Crocodile was stripped of his rank? Now 3 former shichibukai are free (Jinbei, Crocodile, and Blackbeard). Not to to mention a Yonkou was just killed. Frankly speaking, the balance of power just got seriously fucked. Whether it will be completely in the WG's favor is unknown at this point.
But whether or not the WG can find replacements for Blackbeard and Jinbei is also unknown. Hancock's loyalty might be called into question. The WG managed to keep Moria's defeat a secret just so the world wouldn't freak out again (and so they wouldn't have to find a replacement).
So even if the Shichibukai still exist in upcoming arcs, we can at least establish that they will be very different. I'll conclude this rambling by saying this: If the WG ends up being very desperate for replacements, I wouldn't be suprised if a Supernova would be a shichibukai. I base this on nothing, nor am I expecting this to happen, but I'm just saying it wouldn't be that suprising to me.

It depends on the timeframe. Im quite sure, that the shichibukai exists as an organization for some time before Roger and the yonkous. So the current shichis arent the only ones, who had ever been awarded with this title.
I agree, that for the time being the world government will maintain a 5-person-only shichibukai (hancock will remain one). But if you consider the highly possible timeskip for the SHs to reassemble, -which could last for several years for all we know, if oda want to change the appearances of the SHs-, they would have plenty of time to fill the gaps with new shichibukai.
That would have two purposes. The main reason would be, to provide some new mysteries for the new ones with the new powers, new motivations etc. Furthermore could the organization took a rather more dark and dangerous image, if more ambitious shichis like doflamingo would appear (in contrast to "good" shichis like jimbei and hancock).
The second reason for new shichis is, to give other pirates, like the supernovas or New World Silver Medalists, some hype, if they defeat one of the shichibukai. Up to now, they only seem to be defeated by the SHs (with doflamingo and BB waiting in the future).
kid and law for new shichibukai, you heard it here first:ninja:
If the Shichibukai, Yonkou and WG have maintained balance in power before this war, do you guys believe that this war has given the WG some favor so far?
Sure, they've got WB and Ace, but they also lost 2 Shichibukai, Jimbei and Teach. It was a big deal when they tried to find a replacement for Crocodile, so finding two replacements won't be easy, but keep in mind that another Shichibukai had to be replaced in the past (Ace was offered a spot) so maybe it's not a big deal after all.
Talking about Crocodile, Jimbei and Teach's new bounties is sure interesting, but we haven't seen the end of this war yet, so I want to wait untill the end. Who knows what will happen to Crocodile and Jimbei?
It's gonna be interesting how the 'world' change after this event.
EDIT: do you guys think that Crocodile,Mihawk, Moria, Doflamingo were Shichibukai during the execution of Roger (20 years ago)?
I know for sure, Boa Hancock wasn't since she was only a young girl. If you count that and the ones above, there were at least 6 changes in Shichibukai and at least 2 more coming.
