Lucci had 2 animal themes
He did?
Fuck the animal themes, seriously, I hate 'em
Really, those are some of the reasons I like villains in OP

@Mr.:
He did?
pigeon and leopard
don't tell me those don't count
both of them are bigger than kalifa's sheep theme…
Really, those are some of the reasons I like villains in OP
The reason I dislike 'em is because of things like this: Flamingo can't have a spider DF because he is a flamingo, or people just reaching to make people have animal themes (like kalifa)
hell Kuma had the bear theme but then turned out to be a cyborg. I wouldn't have seen that coming. I just don't like the way they are restricting thought
^You make a good point. It does somewhat irritate me that it seems like the Shichi are restricted to having Zoan fruits, unless they are, say, a bear Zoan or something like their theme.
Anyways, why a Woman has to be STRONG to be among the most feared pirates ever?
I mean, look at Nami, she has dealt with the likes of Buggy and Luffy without wasting her strength at all. If anything, showing a female schichibukai would be a nice chance for Oda to build up more situations where the brute strength of the Strawhats becomes futile.

The pigeon wasn't Lucci's theme, that was his bird. They are not one in the same. Also, if Doflamingo was a spider, it would be Dospider or whatever. Also, I don't see how it's restricting when you just gave an example of how it doesn't restrict. Bartholomew Kuma has a bear theme, yes. He is large, strong, fast, and has bear ears…....and "pads". However, he is a cyborg. Something that is about the most remote thing from a bear. You just need a theme, you don't have to have anything to do with the animal really. Such as Crocodile who had a power totally unrelated to a Crocodile, but had things such as his eyes, coat, and sneakyness of attacks.
@Mr.:

I think I'm just not understanding what you meant hear. There hasn't been a zoan that we know of yet in the Shichibukai. The animal theme isn't really restricting, it just gives some variety. All of the members have little things about them that are just like whatever animal they are, but many times they aren't related to their power per se.
I meant that it would feel odd if a Shichibukai had a zoan fruit, cause it would conflict with their original animalt theme.
But yeah, their powers usually are nothing like you would think for them to have.
Well, I don't get all the fuss with the zoans and the animal theme.
Animal themes are everywhere in One Piece. Hell, even the SH have their animal themes, so it's not like the theme matters outside their behaviour/Looks/whatever Oda thinks.

or in my words…
Animal themes = horseshit

As long as they don't restrict Oda's thoughts, I'm fine with the animal themes.
I really enjoy the animal themes myself :P
mihawk…
he's cool!! and much more friendlier den other shichibukai :)
Moria,Blackbeard and Bartholomew Kuma. Da Best!!!
Doflamingo is just awesome
Crocodile. (filler…...)
Mihawk. Because I don't like any other Shichibukais 'cause their most likely total assholes compared to him. Mihawk is nicer, agreeing with whoever said that.
mihawk
definatly he is the best
Obviously, Marshall D Teach :)
Doflamingo, then Blackbeard…..although I love em both XD
HMM, i GUESS I GOTTA GO WITH DONFLAMINGO. tHE GUY HAD STYLE.
Crocodile is still my favorite , followed by blackbeard and Kuma .
Mihawk n Kuma is the best..
Kuma is kickass. From what we seen he is easily an Island buster/
Blackbeard prbly mountain buster right now but will be Island.
Mihawk prbly strong the strongest.
Always loved Crocodile & mihawk.
but Kuma's a killer. So he wins too.
only Mihawk
still wondering about the 7th member, I hope a woman someone in my mind
Definitely Kuma.
Enigmatic, honorable, and monstrous. He's too bad ass.
Gecko Moria, hands down! Controlling Shadows and has his own zombie army at his disposal. Wish he could've lasted longer, though. I do wanna see who the last schichibukai one is, and I dont care what anybody else says, but Doflamingos a dick! Spouting all this "no more dreams" crap. I cant wait to see his face pummeled into nothing.
Doflamingo is a PIMP!!! and my favourite Shichibukai
I guess Moria is okay but he never appealed to me as awsome. The real Shikibukai of that arc was kuma and the real villan was Oz.
Sir Crocodile. Hands down. One of the best villains I've ever seen, fantastic character design, and hell, he's still one of the most powerful bastards around, long after he's been gone. The man needs props, people.
Second would be Doflamingo, just for his pure potential. Plus, I like his lackadasial (hope I spelled that right) style, and his power is just brimming with badass potential. Plus, his design just kicks ass.
I like 'em all, though, to be honest. Well, except maybe Moria. I like odd characters, but I really don't like his design all that much (mostly his head, and his odd coloring), or his Japanese voice actor. He's just okay. The rest of 'em kick ass, though.
I was just wondering when Moria was given the title of the shichibukai.
Cause if he was given the title after he's gang got wiped out by Kaidou wouldnt it reflect to him as someone who lost to Kaidou? And would the world government choose him to be a shichibukai. But if he was given the title before he lost to Kaidou, he shouldnt have commanded his pirate crew to fight with Kaidou.
1/ Crocodile of course ! The One, the best: a very bad man who manipulate citizen of Alabasta. A charismatic character !
2/ Gecko Moria: I love his face ! And… That's all ^_^
3/ Kuma: Gentle Shichibukai....
1. Kuma : … an awesome cyborg, great abilty and great personalities
2. Crocodile : the best villain I've ever seen
3. Mihawk : a great man

I don't think the WG expect one Shichibukai and their crew to defeat a Yonkou crew. Moria is still more than strong enough to help maintain the balance.
vote for MIHAWK
for me he is the best shichibukai because his style is very cool and i think he is a good guy like aokiji
my vote is obvious….DQdeFlamingo
-like his "new era"-talk...this guy has visions..just great villains have such visions..(dont mean visions like..i conquer the world\will be the strongest bla bla...) -chara just looks awesome in my eyes ,first time i saw him i loved his hole design (the gay-aspect i don
t even see..but wootever pimp is pimp and they do so to offend....perfect villain)
-i rly rly see croc so far as the best villain in the OP-series but in my eyes deFlamingo has the only potential to be a a "real" psycho....love such charas like serial killers with weird habits and crazy minds..... they fit my point of view of a perfect antagonist..cause you will be in a hole different world and you have to understand your villain before you could face such a psycho...
:sad:i know oda wont give me such a villain but DQdeFlamingo has a lot of potential in this way..(but OP don
t kill charas...so a psycho wont appear in this series like in <jojo
s bizarre="" adventure="" "kira="" yoshikage="">...just a dream for a villain
all shichibukai`s have something special and i love all the charas so far..but to have a order
2.crocodile (was so far rly THE villain in OP)
3.moria (unique liked him..and a sad backstory...pulled the chara a level up)
4.mihawk (will be for moria when we see more of him...his fight against zoro will be epic so he will get a better place in the end)
5.kuma (interesting chara and like his cyborg-abilitys.. but need more to see from him)
6.BB (dont count him so far as a shichibukai cause for me he
s not rly 1 of them...he will be the main anagonist in the end and being a shichibukai is not the last word from his side...so i don`t judge him here)
7\8 .jinbei\unknown (havent seen anything so far)</jojo

I'd imagine the World Government created the Shichibukai shortly after they started recognizing pirates being "yonkou". At this point, the pirate age got out of their control, and establishing the Shichibukai became a method to regain control, somewhat.
How come Kid can't beat Kuma easily? If Kuma is made of metal (bealived to be stronger than steel, but I guess it's still a metal, isnt' it?), Kid should be able do control him and all.
Kidd's magnetism doesn't seem to affect Kuma. He already attracted all the metallic objects nearby to make his giant metal arms. Kuma's still standing there.
Even if Kuma were affected by magnetism, he wouldn't fall apart by being magnetized. Kidd's not Magneto.
Well Kidd might not have "trained" his DF to that caliber just yet. Maybe down the line his powers will increase and he could find himself capable of manipulating Kuma's body.
i have only one thing to say. why does luffy and and his crew have to fight all the shichibukai?!? there are 10 other crews out there sailing the ocean blue, so wh is it luffys job. let law and kid take out kuma, or maybe drake take out flamingo. it is not their duty to beat them, and the way most of the shichibukai act toward the government they are going to turn on them before it is over. so don't worry if the strawhats face them, worry who might face them. and in my opinion Law will be the one to defeat mihawk. he is a "swordsman" and that would be one hell of a fight (law traflagar vs roronoa zoro). u never no it could happen, why settle for one title when u can be both pirate king and worlds best swordsman.
Kidd's magnetism doesn't seem to affect Kuma. He already attracted all the metallic objects nearby to make his giant metal arms. Kuma's still standing there.
I don't know if it was ever stated that Kid has magnetism as his DF, but Kuma is just too bad, to fall to such a power. I think Kid and Law is going to have to step up there game.
Like Jinbei said, we don't know what Kidd's power is. Also, Kuma's metal might just not be affected by magnetism. It's certainly possible. Another thing is that yes, the SH crew have taken down two Shichibukai and their subordinates decimating them. But we don't know what the other crews have gone through, plus there are other Shichibukai out there.
As for the other Supernova's we'll have to see what their goals are because they all have different interests.
hahaha! i like Mihawk and Kuma!
Mihawk and then Kuma
1. Crocidile ( He is by far the most evil man ever to be shown in One Piece.
2. Kuma ( Religion is badass. He fights for the good in all of us.)
3.Jimbei ( Arlong was the second most cruel man yet in O.P He shot Bellemere straight in the head. So Jimmy is probably ten times worse and maybe more ruthless then the Croc.)
Mihawk. ( Cool, Zoro will never destroy him)
1. Bartholomew Kuma
2. Crocodile
3. Blackbeard
4. Gecko Moria
5. Dracule Mihawk
6. Donquixote Doflamingo
7. Jimbei
8. Unknown Member
Mihawk is awesome!
Jimbei 3.3
You all watch, when they get to fishman Island and encounter Jimbei they will be like "wtf!". He is going to be awesome, A whale Shark = pwn!!!!
But seriously, I say BB because we all know he is (or will be) one of the strongest and deep down inside he has a bit a respect and restrain…..or not, but I still like him 3_3
1. Bartholomew Kuma:
He is my absolute favrioute Shichibukai right now. I love his look and attitude but the best thing are his devil fruit power and his attacks.
2. Crocodile:
He is the ultimate bad guy, his look just screams badass mafia boss.
3. Blackbeard:
I think he will be Luffys final villain and you just got to love his devil fruit power. What i don't like is the goofy weakness of his powers, i don't want to see this kind of goofiness in the final battle in one piece.
4. Gecko Moria:
I love his devil fruit power and how Moria seems to have perfectly mastered it. I think he may be the person who best mastered his devil fruit power from all people we have seen so far in the whole manga.
5. Dracule Mihawk:
What i saw so far from him is all pretty likable but not enough to rank him higher in this list.
6. Donquixote Doflamingo:
I need to see more but right now he kinda feels like Crocodile lite.
7. Jimbei:
Well we don't now anything except his name.
8. Unknown Member:
I hope we get to see the last member soon. I think it may be a female and he/she could be in the upcoming battle against the Whitebeard pirates.
I think i will have to go with Mihawk, a swordsmen of honour, a "Friend" of Shanks and there is just something about him.
Not to mention he took out Don kriegs entire fleet in a coffin.
