The Nightmare Before Christmas DVD

What's going on with this? I haven't been able to find this on DVD beyond rental in certain video stores in a few years. I've guessed, and others have said, it was cause of the 3D re-release and that we'll get a DVD re-release once the time comes. That came out in theaters on October 20, 2006, with no sign of a DVD in sight.

And now there seems to be ANOTHER re-release or something coming in October 2007….what the hell is going on? This is my all time favorite movie all time and I regret not being able to own it in the past....so what am I eventually gonna have to do? Buy it off eBay?

Damn man, and I was going to see if I can rent it this week… If you want the movie that badly... Go Internet surfing for it... But be careful with which site you choose...

No no no, there are DVD's. But just in the recent year or two they vanished, but they can still be rented.

I've downloaded the movie before, but I actually wanna OWN it.

Thanks, but I wasn't caring to buy it online. The real point of this thread was in case someone actually did know what was going on.

I am not sure but maybe the Nightmare before christmas 3D Will be out soon on DVD like they did with Shrek 3D
I can only find the DVD on Ebay or Amazon.
