you may state you reasons and stuff. for me it's the Wii because i love the human element in the games now, and it's one of the cheapest systems out there. plus, i'm a big nitnendo fan lol
Which is better the Wii, PS3, or the Xbox 360
-
-
Wii of course, the innovating controls and the unexpecting name is pure FTW material!
-
Wii… There are more games I'm anticipating on it than I want for the other two...
-
the wii got every vote almost! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Wow, I'm shocked at all the Wii love! Not that I have a problem with it. To me, enjoyable gameplay beats out graphics everytime.
-
I'm not surprised at the outcome. Considering the type of message board this is.
And I voted Xbox 360 I never liked the Wii thought it was cheesy.
-
Wii. No contest
16 goodness
-
While I did vote for the Wii, I do not own any of the systems. If the Wii develops a deeper library of quality games, it may warrant a purchase from me.
-
I sense an impending flame-fest.
Here's the politically correct answer:
All three systems have their own merits. They have their own exclusive games and they all are good in their own way. Happy love happy love if you don't own all three systems then you're a disgusting fanboy happy love happy love you must play all three systems equally happy love happy love.
Anyway, the only one I have is Wii and the fall games lineup is KILLER, so that got my vote.
-
Talk about a flame retarded thread.
Personally, I like the Wii the best. PS3 second-o, 360 least. Go team!
-
because i love the human element in the games now
Since games previously required no human element.
-
-
Polls shouldn't never have an "all" option. But I think I will have to wait a year before giving my vote for this - granted if I can still find this thread - because the consoles hasn't been out enough long to really see how good they are… blah, whatever, I will give my vote for 360 for the heck of it.
-
I don't think Wii is so innovative, it's just a twist of what Nintendo did eons ago with the "Nes Pistol", nothing impressive if we consider the actual technollogy…
Anyways, my vote goes for the SNES, nothing can beat Games that relied more upon quality than Quantity and Graphics. :P
PS: IMO. Kirby Super Star is the best platformer with a Cooperative system in the whole history of Nintendo, no other game has been more appealing to invite your friends, besides the fighters and party games, so it's a shame nintendo abandoned that kind of gameplay....
-
The fact that half the games in Mario Party 8 involve using a masturbating motion with your Wiimote is what makes the Wii so great.
-
I realize I'm joining a thread I don't agree with and thereby am inviting disaster but for what it's worth.
Liking (or disliking for that matter) a system is absurd.
Take away games and any system you own is a hunk of plastic.
Wii thus far has offered what is obviously an earth-shattering title in the form of Zelda but it remains to be a GC upgrade. I have yet to see a released (Attention: released) game designed specifically for Wii that has excited me.
PS3 obviously has shit.
XBox360 has blown me over with Lost Planet and Blue Dragon.
Again, I'm talking about released games.
The way I see it, the only system worth owning at the moment for the games made for it is 360 and the 360 hardware is not something I'm going to invest in for at least another 6 months.
I'm fairly certain I'll end up enjoying games across all systems this time around.
XBox games never interested me and thus I never bought one but even if someone asked me in a poll whether I liked the system, I'd never say I didn't like the system.
-
360 easily.
+Best online on a gaming console
+Affordable
+Great games that are released
+No BS gimmicks-That 33 percent failure rate I hear about. God I hope mine doesn't mess up.
-

I'm pretty sure by system, it meant games included. 'Couse, I might be wrong, and it's dangerous to assume, but whatever.
Wii 4 me. It's the only one with games I actually like.
-
Wii sells the most, hence it'll end up with the biggest library of games and could be considered the best system… in the future. For the moment I'd say the three systems suck balls, but at least the Wii doesn't cost five hundred ninety nine US dollars.
-
Well, it depends really what kind of gamer you are.
XBOX 360 & PS3 are for more heavier gamers like, serious games.
And Wii is just more family and Fun. :]
They all get my vote , except for PS3, still waiting for a GOOD game to come out.
-

It will trust me it will
one night you'll wake up and those 3 red lights will be laughing in your face:sad:
-
Don't jinx me Sogeking.
-
Don't worry at least it will be free
-
At least Peter Moore is being very understanding about this.
He could just be like Sony and say: "lol u mes up u fix it"
-
I voted Wii because my Wii never overheated and caused me to be without it for weeks at a time.
-
Still, all hope is not lost for Sony yet, but they'd better make a move fast or it's over.
-
Guitar Hero
.. just guitar hero.
-

Psst. Read the Sony Hit and Miss thread. Rumor of 100 dollar price reduction post E3.
I'm pretty sure by system, it meant games included.
And assuming that's the case the question is even more sophomoric. Two have been out for less than a year and only one system has delivered titles designed specifically for it from the ground up that serve as system-sellers.
Both Wii and PS3 have AMAZING games waiting in the ranks but…since no one has played them I dunno how you can judge.
That's not to say you can't have a favorite, I just think at this stage even THINKING about considering which system has the best exclusive titles is premature to say the least.
-
This is my problem. I'm debating on whether I should get a Wii or 360. The 360 has many games with good graphics, gameplay, and many more things coming up. The Wii is innovative, looks fun to play, and also has a game that I really want coming up.
-
Going by games, I currently like the Wii best. The 360's starting to catch up with a few recent titles though.
-
I would invest in a Wii. With it's lower pricetag and amazing line-up that's soon coming out of the gates it's easily the best buy. 360 has about 3-4 games I REALLY want to play but I'm not looking forward to much on the system. Again, that's just me.
-
Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are all hitting shelves this year, which is even more reason to purchase a Wii.
There's a 99% chance that we'll know the exact release dates of all three games during Nintendo's E3 conference next Wednesday.
