All right look, i'm only making this thread for one reason and one reason only, to make a freakin point. i just got out of a relationship and I feel actually a lot better. Look ladies nothing personal, so sometimes you women can be as fantastic as can be, other times…..not so much. Same thing i'm sure can be said about guys.

Basically this thread may include personal experience over past relationships, also any tips of how to get over women may be added. Hate commnets/stories about women/men who screwed you over may be added also. Also, add disadvantages of being in a relationship.

Well bascially i got cheated on by her ex and dumped her sorry ass. End of story. :getlost:

Advantage of not being in a relationship

1. never have to think about the other one, doesn't consume your mind like water being poured in a glass.

2. Dont' have to deal with women like drama (i learned that for some reason that most women like this?)

3. Dont' have to deal with insults like, why do you watch anime it's stupid isin't it. Why do you play video games?

4. Don't have to go clothe shopping. (best reason of all)

If I had a bf, life would be easier, financially. I would also have someone to hang out with, cause all my friends are always busy with their own lives, but people in relationships, make the other person their lives lol.

But then again, guys can be lazy and gross. I hated arguing with my ex because I worked, went to school, and ended up doing all the laundry adn cleaning, while he sat on his ass and played videogames. and then if I wanted help, well I was told to quit nagging him. well damn it, if you would help me, I wouldn;'t say anything!

Yeah…dating's something else alright. The last girl I was with pretty much made sure I had no money for myself wherever we went, whether it was a local place in her area, or it be an anime convention, she loved me for my wallet more than she actually loved me. But since the breakup, I've been able to have money for myself, and to spend it on the people that REALLY care about me, my friends.

But yeah. I was normally the one stuck doing all the financial matters while all she did was party at clubs with her friends, guy and girls, and leave me behind in drinking.

I broke up with my first girlfriend last week. She was a tad bit too clingy, and most of the time it felt like she was trying to control me. Then she just decided that we were to have sex, and I really didn't want to have sex so early in a relationship, or this young, for that matter. So I broke it off.

Well, we work together and its real annoying to be stopped everytime we're in the same room with stupid one liners like "your hair looks longer" or "I just went number 2 in the mens restroom and it was out of order" or "wouldn't it be funny if someone tried to shoot us when we were carrying hotdog buns and they hit the buns instead" or "I just told two girls that my balls were itchy and they said that's gross" or "do you want to meet my mom and dad?"

I usually follow a simple rule before I decide to get serious with a girl.

Is she into drama? And does she show any warning signs that she will bring up unreasonable drama in the future?

If the answer to both is a no, then I generally find even in breakups, you can be consensually happy.

On the other hand, if the above answer is yes, the breakup can last over a year (much like one of my best friends) who is on and off again, friends with advantages/worst enemies, 10 hour phone conversations/"I DONT WANT YOU IN MY LIFE" arguments in the middle of the city type of deal that has been going on for the past … since November when they "broke up."

I really hate drama and what the internet/western media reality shows have done to promote it to the mainstream.

I was referring to his situation, where he was already dating a girl, but she no longer wanted a relationship; she just wanted sex. Oftentimes this situation can eventually lead back into a relationship because at the time the girl is scared of how quickly she has developed feelings, and instead of exploring them, chooses to either break off the relationship or only focus on sex until she figures them out.
I did not imply, if a girl on the street offers you sex, take it. The diseases alone should scare you from taking any such offer, ignoring other complications.

If your cousin was having unsafe sex, with strangers then he's a moron anyway. Although I am curious, did things work out or are they separate/is he a deadbeat dad?

And as for your comment captain, to say you would avoid "guys like me" would already suggest you wouldn't be offering just sex. And if you are not that kind of girl, you wouldn't even realize I would be ok with a situation like that, since it would not come up. That is ignoring my previous comment of "my mistakes."
Because I've never been that guy, but I have regretted it since I have a close friend who did just that with a girl and had a wonderful relationship for 6 months with her, now they remain friends. I don't know anyone who remains friends with someone they've broken up with after a serious relationship.

Back in my education days, my school used to team up with the local girls school to do Friday night discos. One time me and my mate were just hanging out, checking the evening's action, when this girl taps me on the shoulder and slaps me round the face shouting, 'you knob-head, it's over'. Bewildered I turned and looked at her and suddenly hear 'oh sorry, wrong person' and leaves me there with a nose bleed.

Well, I haven't been terribly lucky with girls.

The first one I liked was just leading me on for a year (Let's call her Blaisze). The second one I had (Janessa) was that next year, and she was a real sweety, but she moved about a month after we were going out :smilie malfunction: What was funny though is that when I was going out with Janessa, Blaisze got jealous for me and asked me out. I gave a downright "No" to her, and she moved that year as well. Funny how things work out, ain't it.

Then, 'twas the next year. Yet another girl lead me on, except this lasted a week. Then she started liking me last year, so I was like "Screw this crap, I'm gonna go play video games".

Other than that there was another girl who actually cared about me, and probably still does (she's going out with my friend now but she still talks to me about a relationship for some reason. O.o I don't think it'll happen though). This year, I took a liking to a girl named Nicole, and I've known her since I was 4. I wrote her a special letter for Valentines Day, where I stayed up all night before Valentine's drawing a very detailed rose, with a quote "Love is not about finding happiness, but sharing it" (Yeeeah Mr. Zoro you're a corny bastard), although I should say I'm not the actual person who came up with that. Anyways, Nicole didn't say anything about it, she just ignored me.

Although I took forever to acknowledge it, but High School dating is now pointless for me. The only woman for my heart right now is One Piece. Oh man I can't believe I just said that…Well I do love One Piece ^_^

I suppose I might as well tell you another of my wonderful tales. This one is more of a date gone wrong. It's funny how they can hurt at the time but looking back, you can just smile.

Anyway. I met this girl through a friend and she seemed on the ball, worth asking for a date. The 'date' took place in a nightclub. Now unknown to me this girl couldn't really hold her drink well. We spend the evening drinking and talking, getting along. Later on the evening I notice that she isn't really all there, she just looks out of it, drunk. She stands up and staggers to the toilet.

Now, I don't know what the normal time is for a girl to spend in the crapper but a good 10 minutes goes by. I get worried and ask a girl coming out of the toilets if there is another girl in there. The look she gave me did not bode well.

There is one cubicle and I knock on it. The girl walks out with vomit all down her front and it is all around the toilet. It was even on the back of the cubicle door! I called that bitch a taxi and that was the end of it.

DUDE. I have had a similar situation….. Only this happened at A-kon of all places >_> Thus why I'll make it a point to not go to that con next year...

Basically, sometime after my birthday, I started crushing on this guy that I rp'd with.... I REALLY don't know why.... Anyways, we started dating. It was cute at first, until I started finding out things about him that creeped me out, or that I just downright didn't like. He had a really shitty, hateful personality. He looked down on other people, and claimed that he knew what God's purpose was for him... So... being a total jerkass is what God intended you to do? T_T Douchefag...

Anyway, I soon got the guts to tell him that I didn't want this relationship to continue... It was moving way too fast for my liking, though that is usually not a problem for me.... Just. In this case, it didn't feel right to me at all. Plus... let's just say... he was totally compensating for something. Literally. Nuff said.

Anyway, this brings me to the incident at A-kon.... He worked the "Teahouse" with his mother, which was a little stand that sold snacks and drinks... So one way or another, I would run into him. We are already broken up by this time. He gets the nerve to pull me aside and says that we need to talk....

We do talk. I don't remember half of what he said, but then he starts going on about how he still loves me. This really pissed me off, he knew I didn't want to hear that bullshit. The thing that really got on my nerves was that he didn't know how to fucking back off! Like, he was right in my face, until I damn near pushed him away... It made me really uncomfortable...I pretty much told him I didn't want anything to do with him, and he still thinks we could somehow still be friends, and he'd wait for me or whatever... Well, heh. You'll be waiting a long fucking time, Will.....

Needless to say, I tried what I could to get away from him, and his overbearing-slightly pyschotic ways... I almost had a nervous breakdown, but I ran into Bushi and Kyra... Thank goodness for that! luffs you guys~
