-
I like both but when you come over matt ill show you hunter x hunter its wicked
-
Sweet I can't wait

Hunter x Hunter is far better than Yu Yu Hakusho. It has richer characters a superior storyline and has some of the best villians ever seen in anime history. The Genei Ryodan. :)
Tony Tony Chopper my advise is, get your hands on this masterpiece as soon as possible, you won't be disappointed.
-
I said it before I enjoy both for a certain number of reasons
hunter x hunter:
good characters
excellent storyline
leorio (cause he's funny)
every chapter gets you hookedyu yu hakusho:
unique art style
it has romance but no mushy like that inu-yasha crap
humorous characters
every chapter is good -
id go with hunter x hunter all around. i like yyh anime better, but ive never seen the anime of hunterx hunter. i dont reallly like the art in yyh, its ok. ive only read vol.1 and 2 of hunter x hunter and ive read vol 1-current jump in the us. i herad yyh ends defirently in the manga …....does anybody wanna tell me how it ends. Pretty much over all i lkie hunterxhunter better.

I would actually recommend Yuhaku any day ^_^;; I might be a bit biased since I haven't read all of HxH, but the some I've read, I liked but not as much as Yuhaku. Personally, I think Yuhaku's the best manga ever so… lol What I like most about Yuhaku are the characters, the humor, and the art.
-
I consider HunterxHunter Yoshihiro Togashi's best.
As much as I found YYH to be entertaining, I just feel that the story line, character design and over all development of HxH beats that of YYH. He managed to pull together otherwise stereotypical prototypes and turned them into really likeable and engaging characters.
I like that Gon's enthusiasm and optimism is constant but never imposing or suffocating - of which a LOT of anime characters are guilty. I like that Killua, who has all the reasons to become the brooding/angsting type doesn't at all, despite his very dark moments. I like that he doesn't let his past/history define all that he is - of which, again, a LOT of anime characters are guilty. I like that Kurapica is a man at odds with himself, and I love that you will actually feel Leorio grow as a character as the series progresses.
 Plus, I LEORIO , so yeah, HxH for me!

Hunter x hunter its amazing. Tony Tony Chopper get it you wont be disappointed
-
yu yu hakusho and hxh…
i prefer hxh coz' from the beginning to the end of greed island, it's really a deep and interresting story. but the chimera new part bothers me.
yu yu hakusho became too quickly what i don't like in HxH, something without a great story, just fights for no purpose.
-
Gotta pick Yuyu Hakusho (haven't read HxH).
-
I would pick HxH over Yu Yu Hakusho any day.
If there must be a reason for this, it's because i believe that Yoshihiro Togashi has learn from his past mistakes (if any) and given us HxH, all that is good from Yu Yu Hakusho and none of the bad :D
If there must be another reason, why go further the the super cool characters of Killua and Kurapica

I suggest, you either read or watch it. You won't be disappointed, at least i wasn't. :P

Hmm, Well YYH has better action, whereas HxH has a better story and more developed characters. You catch a good part of Dark Tournament and your hooked, but HxH is also insanely addictive and original. Damn, it's hard, gonna hafta go with both.
-
In my opinion it's hunterxhunter has a better storyline and charecter development ( seem's like i'm saying the same thing everyone else has said before me) The fights in Yu Yu Hakusho are fast and have that original shonen formula to it. While the fights in HunterXHunter are complex and un-expected. A fight in HxH will last a few seconds depending on the charecters. While a fight in Yu Yu Hakusho will last for quite some time.

I haven't actually read either… I guess that makes me the odd one out, eh? Well, I'll give one a try soon, probably H x H from the amount of people seeming to adore it round here... I'm more for story than action anyday...
trundles off to do something Are they worth it? Y'know, the cash?

I like hunker x hunter better.
-
I dunno, Hunter is kinda lame…so Yu Yu.
-
I would have to say both. Why? Because if Yoshihiro Togashi took a dump on a piece of paper, smashed it and called it a Manga, I would still like it. (Hey wait, that's how Inuyasha was created. LOL)
-
Gotta say YYH. That's the first series ever that I bought all the Tanko. HxH is cool, too, but I don't want to judge it until the series end. Togashi needs to work on the series more!
-
I read volume 1 of HxH over at Gum Gum Mans house and I forgot to reply to this post cuz I've been reading volume 1 ever since and I love HxH
Leorio is awsome! And Gon.. Too bad I've only read vol.1 by Viz..
But it's still good!! :) -
I've never read HunterXHunter, but I absolutely love Yu Yu Hakusho. I've got the first four volumes, and I'd like to see the animà version.
The characters are so cool, and the Japanese high school punk setting is a real fiery atmosphere! - I have a little Yusuke keychain on my wallet, and my little brother has a little Kuwabara, too. I think it was one of the best gifts he's ever recieved from me, really.
Man, Yu Yu is awesome.
-
Hunter X Hunter is way better than YuYu. Don´t get me wrong: Yusuke´s adventures are all awesome, but in HxH the plots and characters are much better developed. The York Shin Arc is just amazing(the Chimera Ants Arc can´t even compare… <_< ). I don´t think that Togashi is a great mangaka(he´s just too lazy :P ), but the man knows how to do his work. B)
-
I'll have to go with YYH. I absolutly love the whole plot line, plus the characters are ultra cool, like Kurama and Hiei. I read the first volume of Hxh and needless to say I didn't really like it that much.
-
i havent read YYH but i can say that HxH gets so much better as you get into the series because, quite frankly, until they get nen the series isnt very good
-
I enjoyed HxH much more.
