Heh…a lot longer than usual to wait (I'm still trying to get used to this post-scanning crisis world), but thanks to everyone who brought this.

Somehow there's a lot of weird stuff going on in this chapter...too much occasionally but at least Oda kept it together. Although I do remember a few weeks back, I just didn't really expect Oz as uncontrollable as running amuck on top of the ship and crashing down right in front of the SHs. Though the best part this week: Sanji's explosion. (though with what looks like Absolom's wedding already starting and all the General Zombies in there...)

Sorry, I just don't like his look. It's just that he looks like Ursula from the Little Mermaid and the neck is just wrong. But he makes up for it with an interesting ability and fighting style so I dig him.

doesnt make sense to me either…

the florian triangle is supposed to be encased in a fog which blocks sunlight and gives the gloomy atmosphers. (btw. has the strawhats used torches or any source of light when they have been outside on the island lately?)

to my knowledge prior to this chapter nothing has been told about zombies or morias connection to sunlight as far as we know nothing happens to them.
only those that have had their shadow stolen will desintigrate, which would be a reaons for the strawhats to want to be done before the sun comes up (just that it doesnt come up in the florian triangle does it? =S)

Well judging where each of the Straw Hats are and where the Thriller Bark guys are, it looks like some match-ups may be seen. Moria, Perona, and Hogback are near where, respectively, Luffy, Robin, and Chopper are, although I am not saying that that is who they will definitely fight.

The Strawhats want to find their shadows before dawn arrives in order to prevent the hassle of having to avoid sunlight.

Basically, if you knew that the arrival of dawn even had the slightest change of killing you, you'd worry too.

You'd think so. The safest plan would be to keep every single shadowless person caged up inside the keep.

His plan is very risky, as it relies on the victim to not die in a world of piracy. Fat chance, Moria.

Good chapter, I love Oz jumping, but it was pretty uneventful without knowing what they are saying.

Just remember that Usopp bave everyone what looks to be a big bag of salt. Oz's face is at the level of the Sanji, Franky and Zoro. Someone should be able to just throw salt in that large mouth. It's anti-climatic, but it's also their captains shadow.

Not necessarily…I mean, to my understanding, the Strawhats are totally different from the Zombies right now. The Strawhats are, you could say, the shadow donors, while the Zombies would be the shadow receivers, so to speak. That is, the Strawhats can't see the sunlight because they don't have Shadows, but the Zombies are made of or powered by shadows.

So basically what I'm saying it, as far as we know, the Zombies could indeed stand sunlight if they wanted to, while the Strawhats currently couldn't, for the same reasons as Brooke.

Unless I'm totally misunderstanding something here.
