Many of my friends say that Luffy's Straw Hat is the Legendary treasure of Gol D. Roger. I say so also… It's sorta what you'd expect. Also do you think Luffy and the Crew will fight the Warlords of the Sea? Or will he have a final showdown with Whitebeard? Or a final showdown against lil' Coby? It is perplexing...
How do you think One Piece will end? (possible spoilers)

Luffy and the Strawhats are gonna have to fight everyone. Luffy is even gonna have to go all-out with Shanks. I think One Piece really is a treasure (jewels, gold, etc.) but it's just one entire thing. If it was divided, it wouldn't be One Piece. Every bit has to be one to be One Piece

it will end with a lot of flashbacks of the fullfilled dreams of each nakama….
and i think shanks won`t be the final villain cause he has the same opinions like ruffy and so BB will more fit in these scheme of good vs. bad final fight ....

Not sure whatll happen but I want a huge battle with the SH and all the friends they made along the way on one side, and the WG on the other with their shichibukai and admirals. And as the last chapter, they should do the typical manga tradition of doing a flash"forward" showing how everyone ended up.

After whatever happens with Raftel happens, everyone will go their seperate ways. The final scene will depict Luffy and
! Brooke climbing the ladder of twin capes and greeting Crocus, who will call for Laboon. Luffy will ask
! Brooke to play a tune for them, and then Luffy will start to throw a punch. The final spread will show Luffy's punch almost making contact with Laboon, and something will be written across the page similar to Gol D. Roger's words that Dragon quotes in Chapter 100. But at the bottom, it will say:Monkey D. Luffy, 2nd Pirate King
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Lol, you just want Brook to be the main star don't you? Anyway I don't see why they have to split up. I mean just cause they're the crew of the pirate king now and they've accomplished their dreams doesn't mean they have to stop being pirates. They've been pirates for who knows how long and it's in their blood now. Hmm actually I do see them splitting up temprarily. They all go to their home towns. Usopp tells Kaya about his grand adventures who coincidentally is the best doctor in the village and then marries her with the veggie pirates as guests of honor with special roles. Nami goes back to her hometown and shows off her world map and money I bet. Zorro goes back to his sensei and then visists Kuina's grave to tell her that he accomplished their dreams. Sanji goes back to Zeff with the location of All Blue and some samples of fish. There will be a lot of crying there. Chopper goes back to Drum Island, oops I mean Cherry Blossom Island and tells Doctor Hiriluk and Doctor Kureha about all his adventures and how much of a man he has become. Franky goes back to Water 7 and reunites with his former gang who now all have respectable jobs as shipwrights at Galley-La and meeets up with Iceburg too. Robin, who has nowhere to go will probably go with Franky and marry him XD. Ok not marry but she might go with one of the strawhats or just go to any old place relishing in the thought of finding the true history. Brook, I know nothing about so I have nothing to say about him. And Luffy I think, after kicking Laboon's ass, goes back to his hometown after giving Shanks his hat back. There's this big celebration and stuff but eventually all of them will miss thier lives in the open seas. So they all reunite in one place, probably Reverse Mountain or Luffy's hometown and figure that they'll take one of the other 7 paths to Raftael. Just as they're about to go, along comes Shanks and tells him to keep the hat permanently because he deserves it. Then they all go up Reverse Mountain and begin a life of new adventures. That's my prediction anyway.

Kingoffans, I like where you're going with quite a bit of that.
I think that they'll all end up splitting up in the end…that's not to say that they won't remain in contact with one another, but you have to keep in mind that the Strawhat Crew didn't form to become a band of pirates per se, everyone joined because they have their goal in life to fulfill. Here's what I see each character doing after the One Piece is found.
Luffy -- goes back and gives his hat back to Shanks. No words spoken or anything, he just places it back on Shanks' head and walks away, to where we don't know.
Usopp -- Goes back to see Kaya, and tells her of their adventures. I think that they live together (if not get married, even though Oda seems to not like that...) and Usopp becomes the protector of Syrup Village.
Zoro -- Leaves to sail the world and challenge swordsmen around the globe, sort of like Mihawk did. Basically becomes the best swordsman in the world, and becomes the man to beat for the person who wants to become the next best swordsman.
Nami -- Goes back to her village, and just lives out her life. Perhaps becomes an infamous navigator-for-hire, and the sole posessor of a map of the entire world.
Sanji -- I think he will end up staying in All Blue for a while (assuming that it does exist and that they find it). I think he will build a restaurant there, and try to find a way to get the fish en masse back to East Blue, so that he can supply and work at the Baratie.
Chopper -- Goes back to Drum Island and becomes a world-famous doctor, where people from all over the world come to have the most obscure diseases cured. After a few more ass-kickings from Doctorine
Robin -- I think she will find another island simliar to her home island and build another library of similiar importance there, this time without the world government on her ass about certain parts of history and such.
Franky -- Goes back to Water 7 and helps continue the Galley-La company with the rest of his old gang.
That's all I have so far.

ok here's what i think luffy and shanks will be at the treasure and luffy will beg shanks to take it and become pirete king since he is still a better pirate than he is but then shanks bows to luffy takes his hat and walks out the door. and luffy will have no other option to take the treasure (if gold or not) and become pirate king.

Being Japanese I suspect it will end with a GIANT EXPLOSION…. like 'Bride of the Monster'.

I'm thinking it that there will be a huge epic battle at the very end, between all of the Yonkou, the remaining Shichibukai, and the Navy, and Luffy and Buggy will somehow be forced to work together. That's really all I got, I can't predict shit in One Piece though, I just hope that it's epic

I remember someone saying way back something about a fight which ends with Luffy sacrificing himself to save everybody from Pluton.
I don't like that idea.
However, he did say in the end something like this:
From the explosion, Luffy is seen on the floor, with the hat torn and damaged. Apparently dead. And the crew's rushing in and all that fucky fucks.
Then, he suddenly gets up, picks up the hats remainings, and say "Nami.. can you sew the hat again? grin"

i think you find out that monkey d dragon is gol d rogers step brother or ace's dad or soming as oda likes buggy the clown he will havesome part in finding one piece somthing like that

Buggy will sacrifice himself by creating his ultimate atack, the omnipotent atomic Bara-Bara Explosion, after realizing that if his crew and his friends (Shanks, and possibly the strawhats later on) die, then One Piece would mean nothing for him. We could also have a Flashback with Roger telling Buggy something inspirational before he went away with the marines to be executed, and then KABOOM, Buggy explodes and defeats whoever or whatever becomes the main threat of the series.
At the end, everyone will remember Buggy the clown, the greatest pirate of the History.
PS: I just realized that Buggy could be even more powerful than Blackbeard, except that he would surely die if he divides himself that much…

The fight between Coby and luffy shall be more epic than luffy vs Lucci, hopefully… I guess the ending will be One Piece get spend off by luffy and his crew again!! See what happen to skypia's gold??? Poor Nami....

My friends said that WhiteBeard will be later killed by BlackBeard because his devil fruit is too imbal, BlackBeard will probably become luffy's worst opponent.. -

Unfortunately it's common to see open endings on long series'.. I HATE that! leaves my with the Feeling and I end up rereading everything until sleep can cure me.
For me, it would be best if OP ended in a manner which REALLY ends it. Completely over. Or else I'll be flooded with ideas as to continue it, and I won't the only one. -

ok i have another idea luffy will be on the execution plat form in his hometown but un knowing to the marines zoro sanji ussop chopper nami nico robin (and who ever else they have at the end) will be in the crowd and they will give luffy's last words and he will say follow the dream try and get one piece like i did. but just as the blades are turned ussop fires a exploson at a pole zoro cuts a pole and sangi breaks a pole and the plat form falls and they escape on the thousand sunny off to defend there thrones
