o.O Krieg & Arlong? I do not see this as a match made in heaven….

The cover art ranges from cute to unsettling (Kuroobi looks surprisingly right, but the rest of the characters are drawn in such silly outfits)... and the inside... is Arlong nose-bleeding? I didn't realise his nostrils were there.

43 bucks, though... for 43 bucks it had better come with (insert punchline involving the words "Kuroobi" and "battery-powered")

I'd love to just know more details if anyone else has seen this doujin before. If nothing else, the premise of how Arlong-sama lets down his species feelings for Krieg...

Not sure if this has been posted, but there is a pretty damn good doujinshi on DA, featuring the Straw Hat Pirates in a debate over the many flaws in the 4Kids dub of OP. It's very funny and the artist also does a good job of keeping everybody in-character and how they would feel about 4Kids's mistreatment of their story!

If you haven't read it by now, be sure to click on the link and read the first page. Once you've finished with that, then search the artist's gallery for the rest of it.

Doujinshi is a printed short comics (that I assume has some sort of a paper type\book type\size type to be called so), original or fanart. Fan comics is NOT a doujinshi duuuuh.

Sounds like you're describing "As Long As I Stay By Your Side" by Hachimaru.

Zoro is followed around by a duck, who seems to appear whenever Sanji disappears and vice versa, leading Zoro to suspect that Sanji is the duck.

There's also a sequel, which takes the story into shonen-ai territory, but to tell you the plot would be to ruin the ending of the first story, so ...

Only the second story is shonen-ai actually.

The first one is all-chara with no implied romance.
Oh, and it's not necessary to read the second story – the first story stands on its own without it. The second is more like an "epilogue" to the first, and it appears in a different doujin from the first, with other shonen-ai stories, not with other all-chara stories.

And the store is Mandarake, I'm Mandrake. There is an extra "A" and a completely different meaning. Mandarake means "Manga everwhere," while Mandrake is another name for a Mandragora plant.

On that note, I never buy doujinshi from Mandarake becuase their webpage has a really obnoxious layout with most of their listings being out of stock.:getlost:

And here is a silly and random scan from a doujin by Seirogan. Those insane 4 panel chibi stories of their's always crack me up - especially Zoro.

I have a ton of new SxN manga raws, but that's about it. I'll post them if anyone wants them. I've been wasting money making custom One Piece ball-joint dolls - so I haven't been buying my usual sick amount of doujin.

I think there is some confusion here. To the Japanese, the word in doujinshi doesn't imply a printed matieral - only a fan-made material. It's usually a fancomic, but it can be a wide variety of things from stationary to a CD album. In the Japanese language, the term has become slang for any fancomics/unoffical manga.

Has anyone read a doujinshi named Erotica? I just got it from DC++ and it totally cracked me up. It´s Sanji/Usopp, nothing very graphic and it starts japanese. Halfway it seemed to be translated…. But by somebody on crack. Sanji is obsessed about JUICE. While groping Usopp. Read it. And have some JUICE! It´s sweet and sour! JUUICE...

As for doujinshi word - alot of mangaka use it for their original oneshots… And anyway, when some people draw a crappy 3 panels comics in pencil and go - ooh, its my doujinshi! - its annoying, isnt it? :/ Therere lots of fangirls like that on dA...

Oh, perhaps you can confirm? – I heard a rumor that Ichioku have stopped creating OP doujins. Is this so?

If so, that's a sad loss: for All-Chara fans who enjoyed Haga's "Mugiwara All-Stars" series and for ZS fans who enjoyed Yamato's adventurous tales. The quality of Ichioku's story-writing was always better than most -- for that, I'm sure they'll be missed!

It's because you're new to the world of OP doujins, that youreallyought to spend twenty minutes reading the first post of this thread (the one with all those little spoiler tags in it). I also recommend spending another twenty minutes reading the most recent 10 or so posts of this thread.

It may seem like a waste of time to read these two things, but reading them will reward you with:

(1) an instant encyclopedic knowledge of many things OP doujin-related

(2) answers to just about all of your questions

(3) links to some doujin downloads which are relatively close to Oda's style.

(Quick aside: generally, people don't like to be told: "my time is more valuable than yours – give me stuff now!" -- you probably didn't intend to sound that way, but that's how the message came across).

picked up a few new doujinshi recently, some interesting things I seen.

First up is ZoroxSanji, as always not entirely uncommon. Although this is a Chopperman version. Nothing much else to say. Robiflowan/Chopperman doujin really with a few pages of this.

Another is a simple hentai art book with pictures going up to (suprisingly) Camie and Bonney so yeah, pretty interesting. Cant see much for the pairings really, there is a SaNa, LuRoCho, CindryHogback and thats about it really for the pairing ones (each girl seems to only have one picture for them)

Also picked up a Marine GirlsxRobin H-Doujinshi which has, well…A LOT of Futa in...I'll stop there.

Not much really to say, if anyone wants any scans or more info then just ask.

Also. Does anyone know of ANY Miss Valentine doujins? I seen pretty much nothing for her out of the futa fandom.

I know of two buried in my anthologies. One is about her and Mr. 5 trying to trick Zoro (comedy), the other she and Mr. 5 are support characters in a Vivi story (serious). If you interested in these, LMK.

Myself I recently bought a doujinshi that looks pretty cute, just waiting for it to arrive. Tis all-char tho but from the pictures looks to be Luffy/Nami, Zoro/Sanji and Robin/Chopper (well, the cover clearly had Robin/Chopper…I have been mis-lead before) XD pics'll come when i get.

I dont collect any doujins before when Robin joined. Which is 2002/2003 (cant remember which) and any doujin that has no chance of having Robin in I'm not interested in.
