My thoughts on the CP9 fights

can Zoro defeat Kaku without using Asura?
-i think tat the possibilty is very high, say 90%. Zoro had to fight fight many marines before fighting n he is sure to be exhausted n not to mentio ntat he fought Kaku n Jyabura while handcuffed to ussop. With all this i think tat his strength will be reduced to about 70-79%. Besides when he is fighting Kaku he swordplay is on par with Kaku n Zoro is not even at his full strength yet, just imagine Zoro with his full energy he would thrashed Kaku even without Asura

2)Can Sanji defeat Jyabura without Diambe Jiambe?
-its the same for the my thoughts on Kaku vs Zoro. i think tat the possibility is very high. While like Zoro, Sanji had to fight many Marines before getting to Jyabura, not to mention tat he had to face off Kalifa n got whack hard by her devil fruit ability.so by the time Sanji face off Jyabura his strength would be greatly reduced, i would say about 80-85%. and most of the time when Sanji kicks Jyabura the wolf guy would be sent "flying". n if Sanji were n exhausted i think there would be no nid for Diambe Jiambe.

3)Can Luffy defeat Luchi without Gear2/3

IMMPOSIBLE. Luffy may have defeated Luchi but i feel tat Luchi is still stronger then Luffy.

Can Sanji/Zoro defeat Luchi??

the chances are very low.it would require Sanji n Zoro to make a deadly move.Example, Zoro could use his Steel Cutting Sword Technique and make it a deadly slash, Luchi will surely use Tekkai but then it would be useless, n when tat happens Luchi will be severly damaged. As for Sanji he could just use Diambe Jiambe n whack Luchi hard, while im sure Luchi will use Tekkai n by the time Luchi get whacked, Luchi will be seriously hurt

More Sea battles!!!! n team battles!!!! Op should have more Team Battles, i mean Luffy just cant get stronger until he defeates the whole world would he???? There is no such thing as being the Strongest in the world some times he should rely on his nakama to speed battles up.

no way sanji or zoro could take down lucci. they had trouble with people hal his strength. lucci dodged alot more than he just took hits with tekkai, so I'm sure he would do that against them. other than that this thread seems rather pointless.

I think the fact that those guys used those moves to defeat their opponents, mean they did in fact need it.

Well I supposed he joined late and didn't read the rules and missed out on the previous threads. Anyways, he is just expressing his thoughts to us and let us go into specific speculated detail for the CP9 arc.

Meh, I think Zoro did need to pull off Asura. He was getting beat up pretty hardcore toward the end of the fight. I mean, Kaku seemed to be playing around and getting warmed up on how to use his DF… After all, he had just gained it. The whole speech of being able to use anything to his advantage was far from a joke, since he was able to dish out a whole lot of serious punishment despite getting a seemingly useless ability. And when he picked up his swords, he was obviously getting serious. And that was also when Zoro started getting the crap beaten outta himself. All the way until going all demonic and using the whole asura-move to finish it off.

Sanji VS Jyabura (sp?) was a whole different story. Personally, I think that fight was a sound disappointment. It looked as if Sanji had the upper hand almost the entire fight. He got hit, what - three or four times? Everybody else had a part where they were about to go down the drain. Sure, Sanji had that section during his fight with Kalifa, but still... Jyabura was made to look totally useless. Sanji could practically keep up with his soru with little to no difficulties. Same with his tekkai. Even Fukurou managed to play it smart toward the end of his fight, while Jyabura keeps going for his ten-finger shigan, while he should have figured out that going that near means getting kicked. The fight looked just so damn hasty. All of the sudden Jyabura starts rambling about Robin being evil and whatnot, just to increase the 'pissed off'-factor of Sanji. A pity - to say the least.

Lucchi. Yeah. He would've totally kicked everyone's asses if it weren't for Luffy pulling off the new gears. I think it's the same as Arlong manhandling both Sanji & Zoro with little effort, although we didn't see that happen this time. We just knew he could've done that, due to the immense difference in his and the other big shots's douriki.

I do, but it's just a very poor analogy.
Sure, there are other methods, and they probably could of taken the out eventually with their usual tactics, but by then, they would most likely be critically wounded. Their new techniques are the most effective way of finishing off the fight with minimal amount of injury. It's like I'm playing pokemon, I'm in the red, and I used mind reader the turn before, and now I can use scratch, or horn drill. What would you choose to use? The only logical reason for dragging out a fight is if you're a sadist of a masochist. I doubt Luffy, Zoro or Sanji, are indeed those.

Not to sound like a Zorro fanboy, but I think Zorro could've taken Lucci if he had to. Even after beating Kaku, Zorro was up and running. He even took on Marine Captains and still looked like he could've gone another 10 rounds by the end of the arch.

He'd have to go ALL out like Luffy, but in the end he could pull it off.

He would have all three of his swords broken then too imo.

Luffy was so completly useless after his fight against Lucci so reasonably Zoro would have to have lost all his strenght including his weapons too.

I agree. IMO Luffy's victory is far from convincing.
It depends on how Oda define strongest in his story. In other mangas, it's not necessary about battle strength. Since OP is far from ending, I wonder what it means.
