This 'flip flip' devil fruit has several applications but the attack that most broken is the Flip-side.
The Flip-side sends the victim back in time , to the point when they were born! BUT it affects the mind greatly, warping them and causing some thing that define the person to flip. Also flipping affect on the personality shows up when the victim is same area as their younger self. One says they like cherry pies, the other will hate it. One hates the meat pie, other will love it.Unfortunately flipping isn't so innocent as arguing over food. IT drives the flipped person to radically change as a person. They will be driven to change their name to distance themselves from 'their disgustingly naïve younger self. It could affect more basic beliefs like loyalty to namaka. Its possible that the flipped victim still hold onto same dream as the original person did but the method to obtain it could be switched around.
That is how an unnamed DF user sent Luffy back in time and then he became "Edward D Teach aka Blackbeard.

Zoro is the extra long lost Shogun son. By the time Luffy gets to Wano the rest of the crew has to tell him Zoro has left the crew. This will lead to Luffy tracking down Zoro to bring him back to the crew. But they'll have a fight first. Luffy gets so annoyed with having to reclaim crewmates he goes on to Raftle by himself.

Enel then went back in time to make sure Luffy would become pirate king and fulfill the "Will of D.". This included saving him from Buggy's sword, on the island of Loguetown… -

I like the first part, but it would presume that the straw hat's acknowledge that Sanji is a member of big mom's crew. I don't think that will happen.

People often make the mistake that Shiliew/Shiryu will get the diamond fruit but to make a much more emotional final battle for Zoro he will actually get the "stairs-stairs" fruit and Zoro will finally get closure on Kuina's death.

Or the final opponent Shiryu has the maze maze fruit and can turn his entire body into an indestructible maze that zoro has to find his way out of before cutting the whole thing in half
