Must-Play import games

A lot of import games (and games in general) are just bad, and I don't think anyone deserves to spend $60+ only to find that they've bought an overpriced frisbee. To avoid this, I think it would be a good idea for us to try and establish a list of must-play games, for all systems, new and old. Please specify what system these games are for, and if they are available in Europe (since there are a few that made it there, but not to the US).

Here are some of my suggestions:

Gameboy Advance:

Densetsu no Stafi 1-3
Slime mori mori (the prequel to Rocket Slime)
Mother 3 (The sequel to Earthbound)
kurukuru kururin (available in Europe)
the Bit Generations games (especially Orbital)

Nintendo DS:

Jump Superstars/Jump Ultimate Stars (there are only a few things removed from Superstars to Ultimate Stars, so you might as well get the newer one)
Densetsu no Stafi 4

Other people have already posted most of the 2D fighting games I was going to mention. But I'll probably think of more later.

It's not a game, but it's an awesome tool for anyone learning kanji.
Kanji Sonomama Rabuki Jiten for DS is a portable kanji dictionary with handwriting recognition, so you don't have to waste time flipping through a thousand page kanji dictionary every day for class.
It also comes with four hidden game and watch games, for when you're bored.

Another one I forgot, Hokuto no Ken for the PS2. The learning curve can be a pain and the cast is limited but the gameplay is solid enough that a HnK fan will appreciate it.

I'm just asking, exactly how much would J.U.S. be by import through internet? Cause I found a game store in Montreal. They were selling it for 80 dollars.

They are safe, reliable, I get all my imports there and they have pretty much everything. And as for cost, it'll come to about $60-$65 (with fastest shipping).
