I love the fillers though. Currently I perfer the fillers over the last 20 manga chapters or so.

The manga bores me. I like this new guy. Somethings were good though it has never been like "HOLY SHIT AMAZING!" The last chapter that I read that I was like "Holy shit amazing" was ikkaku's bankai. Sure I enjoyed some things like hitsugaya vs luppi and and then REALLY enjoyed some stuff like girmmjaw killing luppi. Though it's just missing something.
The fillers are enjoyable because you have a cool group of villians and awesome fights. Kariya vs Byakuya vs Ichigo was amazing, and in my mind passes some of the stuff in the manga.

Yeah, this is some of best fillers I've seen out of any anime.
But I love the canon too, all of it. The only problem I had was that the third arc was a bit messy, but I'm liking the current one.

Nell and Rukia are really the only things making the current arc in the manga worthwhile. Oh, and Aizen's female Arrancar groupies.

Just watched 102. Great stuff at the end. I don't like ishida vs that one chick, even if her weapon is cool. She bores the crap out of me.
Though I still think I liked 102 over 251 this week.
I am hoping if ichigo beats the one guy he goes hollow mask without turning bankai or something. I just hope this fight really turns out good. I don't think they should show the others, maybe chad and ishida. Though rukia and renji I say skip for now. Actually show rukia and renji since chad and ishida already fought the other guys.

I agree that something seems to be "missing" from Bleach lately, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just how these events just seem to keep popping up at random, especially all the Arrancar sightings and stuff. It's almost like Kubo is stalling. You could say that the plot is almost nonsensical right now. I really hope Kubo writes a chapter later that helps it all make sense.
Still better than Naruto though.

I think he is stalling. I think he's been been waiting for some time in winter to start the Winter War. He did mention in volume 3 that it really annoyed him that, when Bleach first started, it wasn't the same season in the book as it was in real life.

Well at the rate he's going, unless he interupts the intruders from battling the arrancar, I don't see how he can start the winter war, during winter without finishing up the fights with Ichigo first (which will take a good 4 months)

Ever since Nell was introduced, the question of whether Nell is a boy or a girl has been puzzling us. Nell is usually referred to just by the name or "the child" or non-gender specific pronouns. Since we are getting a lot of feedback on Bleach 252, we put a translator to look into it, for the… I don't actually know how many-eth time. And we finally have satisfying proof of Nell's gender. So in further releases, Nell shall be referred to as a girl. At least until solid proof is given from Kubo's side, and we might end up looking like fools, again.

There was this whole "tribute to Dragonball" thing that a lot of manga-ka were doing at one time. All these famous manga-ka each drew a color spread depicting DB in some form or another. The manga-ka included:

various others (why can't I remember any names today?But yes, actually, Kubo is a big fan of Dragonball. I think most manga-ka either are fans or admire it in someway, if for nothing but it was so huge.

I don't think this particular fight is being rushed. Let's face it, the only fights we really want to see are the Espada ones, not former Espada.

Trust me, I don't think there's many a manga-ka out there who haven't been impacted upon by DB in one form or another. It was THAT big.

Im assuming Ichigo learned how to use his hollow mask for longer then 11 seconds, especially if they rushed into Hueco Mundo. Theres no way he'll last against even Espada #10 (Yammy) if he had to go Hollow to beat a former espada.
I'm really pulling for Bleach, I think it has lots of potential, especially if Kubo brings back characters like Kenpachi and Shunsui. Bleach and Naruto have so much potential with their awesome side characters.
Kubo needs to stop using Renji and Hitsugaya just to make the fangirls squeel.
Need some manly badass-ery in the next arc. And not to mention all the custom made Vizard who have gotten no action. -

Sorry guys, but I think Renji and Hitsugaya are some of the blandest of the recurring cast. I might be able to see Renji's appeal, but god, Hitsugaya is SO BORING. He doesn't go beyond "huhuh I'm a kid but I'm smarter than stoopid grownups!" thing at all.
Thank god that Ikkaku is know one of the "recurring" characters. I can only hope for Kenpachi to follow soon..

Hitsugaya was cool when we first saw him in SS, but now its like Kubo is pushing him because he has fangirl status.
Im hoping the end fights result in useage of some of the underused characters. So many Espada, Ichigo, Chad, Ishida, Renji and Rukia better not be the only ones to fight them.

And there's a lot of people competing for that title, since I've always found that Ice-based people tend to be pretty dull. I think Aokiji and Mikagami (Flame of Recca) are the best I've seen, though Mikagami was pretty dull for a while and played into the same stereotypes as most water/ice people (smart, stuck up, etc.) he ended up being a pretty good character. And Kiji… is just awesome.

I agree with you for the most part. I do like Renji. Watching him and Ichigo squabble is always great, but I can see how he could be more interesting. I'm happy Ikkaku and Yumichika have been getting their time. More Kenpachi and Vaizard action would be good, along with Kira(I love his zanpaku-to, but his character could use some work), Komamaru(build his character besides being Tousen's friend), and Mayuri(who will probably end up returning to the story to get his ass whooped by Ishida or Urahara anyway).
I really hope this Priviaron Espade stuff dosen't go on too quickly, although I can't see anyone in Ichigo's group winning against the 10 Espada right now.
