I wonder once Aizen is defeated, will Bleach end?
Then again, there is the matter of the "Soul Society King" whoever that may be.

Well, the King is incorporated into Aizen's plan. I think there won't be any loose ends left after Aizen's defeat. I originally thought the rematch with Ichgio and Grand Fisher would end the series, but Isshin obviously changed that apparently.
I think Bleach will end up staying shorter than Naruto and One Piece once all three series are over.

Shinigami vs shinigami? What the hell does kenpachi lose to maki? Unless 99 is Kenpachi vs maki, but I never knew kenpachi was fast. Unless they were talking about maki.
If it turns to soifon vs maki, I will be highly disapointed.

is anyone with me when i say there are 4 vastrode sitting at the espada-table in ch. 244 excluding aizen, gin and tousen which should also be vastrode by now. i'm claiming that because i see 4 espada not wearing a mask or parts of a mask (2, 4, 8 and (9) counting from left). and the others should be transformed ajucas. which shouldn't have anything to do with their actual fighting capabilities just that there are 3-4 "natural" vastrodes like the ones that trained ichigo which would mean that the vastrode devided into at least two groups. the ones which follow aizen and those who are seemingly "good guys" and helped out ichigo.
i also assume that a natural vastrode can't be manipulated into a stronger being by the hougyoku because being a vastrode is the pinnacle of ones being in the bleach world (4 now). but i also thing that transformed ajucas can reach an equivalent level and that those 2 types may differance in there releases and fighting style (soul cutters/slayers vs. hollow-like bodyattachements /extensions). though there is also a high possibility that those hollow-attachments could be the next level of ichigos' and the others "hollow-release".
i'd also like to add after having said all that, that i suppose that ulquiorra not being a natural vastrode should be one hell of a tough sucker and the closest of the espada in skill to gin. *wishful thinking!

Yes, the Vastrodoes are the antithesis of the Vaizard. Or to be exact, the Allancar are. The Vaizard are the good ones who helped train Ichigo. The Vastrodoes are the hyped up beings Aizen hopes to create.

i also think that they're 2 different species but i hope that they are not cause it would give them a chance to choose which path they follow. also at some point both groups where translated in the same way but that might just have been a mistake…
but aren't the vastrode the most powerful and intelligent natural menos? so aizen isn't trying to create vastrode but he's trying to find vastrode to transform them into even more powerful beings right?

I'm pretty sure he's trying to just transform the Vastrode into Arrancar. I don't think you can actually 'create' any specific type of Menos.

The Espada are cool, as expected. And I like the wordplay Kubo keeps using in every chapter, "The Way Without Enemies." Pretty much sums up Aizen, yes?
Although the random guy running from a Hollow at the end was kinda weird.

I thought the cliffhanger for the end was really well laid out and a suprise. It was good. The rest of the chapter was a little bit boring.
Also in battle bladers Ikkaku looks sooo fun to play with. Must have game.

Acctually it does have spoilers. Scenes of Hollow Ichigo Vs. Ichigo are from their fight in the hybrid arc. You can tell because they both have Zangetsu.

Heh, I ignored that part of the opening because it wasn't very interesting or polished. But you're right though it isn't some massive spoiler like showing new Ban Kais, Arrancar, or even the Vizards.

God, I was really enjoying chapter 246…but Rukia and Renji just had to pop-up and ruin everything.
If Hitsugaya and/or Rangiku show up during this arc, this is going to be so pathetic!
Geez, Kubo has created so many awesome characters, why does he only focus on the quatuor that showed up on earth and forget about everyone else.
...just when I was starting to get into Bleach again.

Rukia sure will come, for the simple fact.... because of Ichigo.... even if it means his brother in law Byakuya will be running there and forcing her to go back to Soul Society.....
And Renji likes Rukia, so he will do whatever she asked him to do.... or he will follow Rukia, no matter where........
So, this is an obvious situation....which I admit it too predictable.....

I lovw renji so I am glad he's shown up, I could care less about rukia, but whatever. It gives us variation in the fighting so we don't have to see ichigo, ichigo, uryu, ichigo, chad, ichigo. All the time.
I hope this kid turns out to be like hanatarou, one of the good guys.

I'm happy to see both Renji and Rukia. I'm just a bit peecved that TK had to form some stupid reason for Rukia to save them like hollows that can only be killed by water. Other than that, I'm happy.
I'm hoping Nell is similar to Hanatarou too, although I'm getting scared this arc is starting to become way too much like SS, to the point that I'm hoping Aizen planned it that way.

I don't really care for Rukia or Renji, but this was one of my favorite chapters in a while. The Desert Bros. are awesome.

I was never that interested in Rukia or Renji until later than the manga. But yeah, the Desert Bros. are great, although M7s translation of their speech(changing the "s"s to "th" and even using Gizoogle for the translation of one of them) made it hard to read through.
