I was going to have some fun with my comp microphone yesterday and see how much better of a One Piece VA I would be … only to realize it wasn't picking up any sound.
I don't know what brand of microphone it is because the only letters on it that make sense are "CA" but that's hardly any help. If anyone knows the brand I'm talking about, would you know how to fix my problem?
Or maybe better yet ... does anyone know of a good computer microphone that I could buy?
Get a Labtech Microphone that u can attach to the top of your computer screen.
I have one, and it works great.
are you sure it's the microphone, and not some settings on your computer you haveto play with?
First question:
Is the microphone USB or a jack microphone?
Second question:
if it is a jack microphone, did you make sure it is in the right port?
Third question:
Might you need a driver?
and Finally…
you might want to check the control panel to see if you have any microphone settings.
Okay, I played with the volume controls, and found that some kind of input thing was muted, but now all it's picking up is static and it makes noises when I move it.
It's a jack and I found out a few hours ago (before I left work) that it's a Cyber Accoustic brand.
