Ok, so we're clear, I DO have a legit copy…from a CD, for both WCIII and it's expansion.
Problem is after cleaning my room a few months ago, I haven't been able to find the cases. A friend helped me find the WCIII one, but I have no key for the expansion.
Well, problem is, after looking it up online, a key will only work for offline, but it'll ban me from online play since if a key is used too much, it's banned.
Now, I basically don't see a way to fix this, without removing everything from my room and hoping it's in there, somewhere, and hasn't been damaged to the point I can't read it. Or I can risk downloading a bad key, that when I try to test my multiplayer maps online, it says I can't have access.
I can't think of any other options. So if some genius out there has a good idea to fix all the issues, be my guest. Or if someone has a legit copy that they KNOW isn't barred from online play(just need the expansion pack key) that'd probably fix it no problem.
