Okay, we all know (at least I think we all know) that the Alabasta arc was made into a full hour-and-a-half theatrical movie. We also know from first impressions that it apparently sucked. Putting that aside, which "One Piece" story arc do you think would make the best movie? I decided to make a thread discussing this, and you don't have to limit your choice to official "One Piece" story arcs. You can pick filler arcs, chibi mini-stories, "One Piece" specials, the O.V.A., the pilot manga stories, and even some of the front page mini-arcs as choices for what you'd like to see as a movie. You could even pick Alabasta and explain how you'd like to see it done. If you choose to post here please try to keep it as interesting as possible. I know that if everyone starts picking the same idea for a movie the discussion could end quickly.
Okay, I'll start off with what I believe a lot of other people will pick too. I choose a Skypiea, not only because it's an overall great part of the story but because I felt it was the one story arc in the series that I felt could've used some shortening in length the most. Not that I wanted it to be short, but I felt that all the time spent between when the Straw Hats set out for the treasure hunt till almost everyone in the jungle fell in battle (when Enel's prediction was fulfilled . . . almost) was more drawn-out than it should've been.
