It's about damn time I make my own cosplay thread. Keep in mind that I've only cosplayed two characters.

Let's start it off with my Zoro costumes…

This was my first costume ever. I made the haramaki out of a polo shirt I found in a vintage clothing store (for four bucks).

This costume took so little work, I almost don't even like to claim it. Also, I forgot the damned bandana in the hotel room, so I have ZERO pics with it on.

I'm very proud of this costume. I freakin' hand painted the shirt designs, and I'm terrible at painting… I hated every minute of it. >_<

So far my favorite is the Skypiea one, but that could also be because it's a really fun photo.:happy: The Arlong Park shirt rocks! I remember seeing a close up of it in another thread (I think it was the "which clothes of the Straw Hats' do you like best" thread, or something like that) and admiring your handiwork on it there, too. What's the plan for A-Kon? Enies Lobby? Alabasta?

What kind of paint did you use to paint the shirt. It looks pretty good actually. I like Sanji's Skypia outfit, maybe I can paint "that" design on a shirt.

I bought some crappy pre-made zoro swords from some cosplay website, but they were so crappy, I had to sand & repaint the sheaths… I also remade the tsuba on all three myself. Then I painted the forge lines on the blades. It was a total pain in the ass.

They came out really nice if I say so myself…
