Ooooohhh….pointy objects.
I suppose it was only a matter of time, but the really scary thing is that there are actually people who will buy those, despite the price. -
The price WOULD be totally worth it if they weren't made out of chrome. I'd pay $150 for that set considering you can get those kinds of displays for $40 or less at any tourist site but you're really paying for the custom sheaths, grips and hilts.
(plus it's not an official product but it still looks sweet ^_~)

With any luck, the convention merchants will get wiff of it. Last con I was at, had sakabatou for an affordable price, maybe $20 or so....
But yeah...is the price 15,600, or 60,000 yen? Or...? ...And if it's the first..is there a place to order these things. You only graduate college once, what better way to celebrate XD

[snapback]38245[/snapback]**since it's not a official product. the names of the swords are "white sword" and such. they are 15600 yen each! with the stand also costing 15600. for the set of four (3 swords, stand) you must pay 60000 yen ($550) or so. kau hito no noumiso okashiinnjya nai?!?!
the swords are not "real" length either. "hantachi" means half a long sword. so it's not gonna look right unless you got a 7 year old…

Bah….That's definitely a whole lot more then I'd make anyone pay for the set.
Although I can live with the shorter swords. I'm pretty short myself ^_^

As they're chrome they're meant for sheathed display anyway and 3 feet is more than enough for that.
You'd only be getting ripped off for the stand and besides they have a payment plan in 12 installments.

I saw a letter opener that looked like one of Zoro's swords (I forget which) on ebay a while ago. It was pdc (pretty damn cool).
