Before you read any further. Know this, there ARE spoilers in here, mostly on Moria. They are taken directly from the chapter that are up to date. Sorry that I couldn't put this earlier. But I just want that to be known.

This is a thread for discussing everything about the worlds of the sea. Yes, a recent translation by Oda revealed that it is actually "worlds." I want to give credit to the person who found this out, Mouton Shoot.. Back on subject, just discuss everything about the shichibukai here. However, this DOES include Moria, but there are so many threads about him it doesnt matter. :getlost: We can discuss what we beleive the warlord of the sea's technique is here, vote on the strongest one and guess on possible alibis for the 7th. NOTE : Do not say Dragon is a Shichibukai, because he isn't.

First up, the very first seen.
#1. Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk (also called Jaraquille Mihawk)
Sword: Grosses Messger (Kokotou Yoro)
Real Life Pirate : Bartholomew Roberts
Devil Fruit : None (But people accuse him of having one, due to massive strength)
Techniques : None yet, but he can block bullets and cut galleons in half.
Ship : Appears to be a coffin
Captain of which crew : Is a loner
Bounty : Unknown, but probably very high, since he is the best swordsman in world. Also, is voted post powerful on the poll as of 4/24, so obviously has amazing techniques.

Then, not seen, but talked about second.
#2 Jimbei (Whale Shark)
Captain of which crew : Fishman pirates (The ones on Grand Line)
Resides on : Fishman Island
Techniques : None
Devil Fruit : None known of
Bounty : Unknow, but probably very high

Third is…
#3 Donxuiote Doflamingo
Devil Fruit : Some sort of puppet fruit
Captain of which crew : Formerly the Bellamy Pirates
Techniques : Can control people like marrionettes
Bounty : 340,000,000 berries
Resides on : Near the New World

Fourth is...
#4 Bartholomew Kuma (Kuma means Bear)
Devil Fruit : Presumably none
Techniques : Possibly something to do with a religious technique, as he carries a bible
Bounty : 296,000,000 berries
Resides on : Possibly a Religious Island

Fifth, the newest seen is...
#5 Gecko Moria
Devil Fruit : Shadow-Shadow Fruit
Techniques : 1. Stealing peoples shadows thus causing them to burn in sun
2. Planting Shadows into Zombies
Bounty: 320,000,000 million berries
Resides on : Thriller Bark, and sleeps a lot there

Captain of which crew : A zombie crew

Since Crocodile was defeated and this is unopen you can discuss who you might think it is and such.

It's very unlikely that the 7th one has been mentioned by name as he would have been mentioned AS a shichibukai then.

It did not say he is the strongest of the seven in the manga, he is the strongest swordsmna, not shichibukai. And it said nothing about him being king. Also, it is confirmed that Jimbei is at fishman island. Back at the beginning of the Arlong arc Yosaku said so. Also, Doflamingo can control people. As he made Sarquiss fight Bellamy, if that isnt a devil fruit, i dont know what it is. Its like controlling someone like a puppet.

I think that BB is going to be the strongest one seeing how he is probably going to be the main villain. I doubt that Moria is the strongest since Luffy is most likely going to beat hum this arc. It wouldn't make sense if he already beats the strongest one. If we don't count BB, I think that Hawkeye is the strongest or Jinbei. But Flamingo might be a bigger threat than Hawkeye.

It's either Blackbeard or Mihawk.

Blackbeard is a wannabe PK, he scratched shanks in a fair fight, stomped ace like a cigarette so from the looks of his powers he's pretty unstoppable.

Mihawk is the best swordsman in the world he's on par (or better depending one the fact of certain people thinking he's going to pull a new style out of his ***) with shanks , he is 1 of 2 characters with a world class title, whitebeard has held him in high regard commenting on his legendary duels and he is zoro's goal a walking dream showing he will be a final boss.

Yeah, I just voted Doflamingo due to his puppet technique, it just seemed really strong. Mihawk is probably stronger though. Know what Teach could do if Moria stole his shadow though? Make a cloud of darkness above his head, thus so no light reaches him and then he could just kill Moria and get his shadow returned.

For the sake of argument may I ask how do you guys know that all of the **Shichibukais names are all titles?

Well, my opinion…

I think that IF BB is going to be a Shichibukai, he is going to be the strongest one. He defeated Shanks WITHOUT the DF power... and.... gravity... OMG, you don1't know the possibilities that this power can bring...

But, on the other hand, maybe Mihawk become the strongest Shichibukai. He is the final boss to Zoro, and i'm thinking that Oda will give him some kind of glorious enemy to fight in the end. Who knows... maybe Mihawk defeat BB... in my opinion, Eneru had the most powerful fruit on the world and lost to Luffy, a paramecia... i think that Mihawk can defeat BB in some way too...

And, about Jinbei be a DF user... it's a crazy idea... he is a merman... and if he lives on the Merman Island... he's house is a under-water grave... if i remember it well, mermen r three times stronger under the water... so... WHY EAT A DF?

And the last Shichibukai is Pandaman for shure. He is the second on the rank. Yo-ho!

Came to think of it. If BB joins the Shichibukai, do you guys thing that he might become an enemy to Flamingo who will fight BB instead of Luffy. After all, Flamingo hates dreams and BB lives from them.

I think so that he'll not have to worry about the WG being his enemy, whereas a normal pirate will have to fight against attacks from other pirates as well as the WG trying to capture them.

I dont't realy like the theory of BB being Luffy's final villian. Remember there are 4 Emperors and I don't think they got this title just for fun. So there are 4 guys who are probably stronger than BB (though he might be the strongest guy we saw thus far).
I think Mihawk will defently be the strongest Shichibukai due to the fact that Zorro will have to have a REALY big fight, too.
What ist better here than Zorro defeating the strongest Shichibukai to show how powerfull he has grown ;).

I'm kinda hoping Luffy and Co. don't fight all of the Shichibukai or anymore than one Yonkou because honestly I believe that it would be kind of cliche to make them fight every single important person in the world.

Really I don't see a reason why people like Kuma can't be defeated by others.

I wouldn't be surprised if the last Shichibukai we get as a Arc villain is either Moria or Doflamingo.

Okay, I am pretty sure that Luffy will only take out Crocodile, Moria, DoFlamingo (maybe), and the final Shichibukai. It would make the plot horrible if Luffy took out the Shichibukai one after another. Oda did a great job, since Crocodile was beaten like 200 chapters ago, we need another dosage of Shichibukai battle! Personally, I believe that Blackbeard will become a Yonkou instead of a Shichi, due to a lack of animal name. However, Yonkou has hair involved names. Whitebeard, Red Hair, Blackbeard. Seems fine to me.

Probably one person. Controlling everyone around him would make him invincible. One person may seem like little but what if this happened. Its the whole crew vs. Doflamingo. Doflamingo wins. Take control of Luffy, take out Zorro while injuring Luffy intensely. If someone on the crew comes after Doflamingo, Doflamingo can obviously fend by himself, he didnt become Shichibukai for nothing. With Zorro down he can easily take out the rest of the crew with Luffy, then kick luffy a few times in the stomach and stab him. Thus, the loss of Strawhat crew.
In other news, possibly Kuma can create like religious attacks. Like an invisible shield of God. Or God's smite. Just something like that.

Doflamingo is too much of an anomaly to compare with any character. No-one knows how many people he can control at once and if he can control any character.

The only facts we've seen so far are

1. He had no fear of fighting sengoku and no fear of the consequences, which probably means he can go toe to toe with sengoku.

2. Whitebeard is the strongest man in the world, this means doflamingo cannot defeat him. So there will be a way to avoid doflamingos ability, if there wasn't whitebeard wouldn't be the strongest.

If I had to guess I'd say doflamingo's ability depends on how powerful his enemies spirit is. As we've seen with shanks his spirit is massive, which could be what stops doflamingo from controling him.

The two crewmembers who'd stand a chance against him would be luffy and zoro. One having the will of D and one having the spirit of a demon.

True… but couldn't he take control of the entire straw hat crew? I mean some of them have bounties that are 70+. Sanji (77 beli) and Nico (81 beli) add up to 158 berries alone... So they could beat Zorro. Zorro probably is strong enough to fight his crewmates, but I doubt Luffy is so he would have to fight Doflamingo. But, with him having control of Chopper, Nami, Ussop, Franky and Brook (probably, plus Brook has the shadow of Ryuuma... so he has obvious skills), Luffy is going to have a lot of trouble. He has to fight all the people listed above, plus a Shichibukai with a bounty of 340 million berries. So he's basically fighting a massive behemoth of 700 million berries if added DoFlamingo and Nico and Sanji after they beat Zorro. Luffy would have basically no chance against them. Thus a loss for the straw hat crew.

Bounties don't equal strength, if they did they'd be more like:
Luffy 300 million
Zoro 300 million
sanji 280 million

Proof of them not being a power level is choppers low bounty, sanji and frankies pretty low bounties and the fact all shichibukai's bounties are frozen.

The next problem with trying to determine a winner between a controlled luffy vs anyone is. Doflamingo doesn't know luffys techniques, he may restricted to basic punches and kicks. Which wouldn't get him anywhere against zoro, sanji franky or chopper.

That's why I say doflamingo is too much of an anomaly.

Also Mihawk is the strongest pyschially but poweriwse blackbeard would come in second to him because of his devil fruit (also happens to be the reason mihawk would be him)

this is all just my speculations but:
the best thing DoFlamingo could do is throw the DF users in the water.. that would put both a DF user and a regular person out of comissionas he needs to save the DF user. (this is assuming he can only controll one at a time)

and if DoFlamingo can controll more then 1 person at a time i really doubt he acctually has any real hand to hand combat strenght. If he did have combat strenght he wouldnt use his DF ability since thats a distraction (it looks like and im assuming he must be moveing his fingers around to controll someone.)

the greatest advantage with his power imo is if noone knows about it, and nakama suddenly attacks each other, but he shows it off every chance he gets. (im thinking he padded his bounty like Bellamy suggested Luffy did… but i have no grounds for this)

I was only guessing with the spirit thing, it's the only logical way i see for him not being able to control whitebeard. But 1 fact remains he has never used any special attack while conteolling someone. This hints towards him not having access to these attacks, which would make anyone he's controlling be at 30% of their power.

And don't forget that's a frozen bounty, if he didn't join the shichibukai it could have been above 500 million, so we'll never know.

#1. He's just grumble against Sengoku, without ever try to strike him..
#2. Doflamingo's power close to String/ Rope that just powerful enough to tie big man and control it. His body made of string, He could control density of his string close to invisible to control people[[I]Like spider string which is 4 times stronger than kevlar, Kevlar>steel]. And i think his ability controlling people is not his major strength. Imagine he could handle hundreds of sword to attack people[Sword Rain Attack] whew, trouble. But, massive, enormous strength could break it up. That's why WB beyond his league. And i think skilled technical people like Robin is enough to handle him. When people encountered him, they don't know his power is and fear of it and become irrational, like when they fight Logia user[Oh, invincible, Godlike power], but if they know where he attach his string or what his power is, they could free from his control and defeat him, if they powerful and skilled enough.
