I should have clarified. How do I FIND a proxy? I've done searches before but the "addresses" I get aren't IPs, they're some other kind of number.

1.On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.

That what you mean? I have no idea what proxies even are, but I clicked the link to see if I could help and so maybe something like this?

Are you using IE or firefox btw?

Firefox no longer has proxy support, or at least the version I downloaded didn't. I'm using IE.
