See what I mean; since I have all images disabled, the url is absolutely huge and distorts the page. They shouldn't be enlarged with the size tag.
Disabling large fonts (for URLs only).

Well…you text is huge period..
-
Yeah but a URL at that font size will stretch out the page, because it assumes the typer doesn't want anything placed on another row, and tries to accommodate.
Why not turn pictures on, if your internet connection is too slow, well dial up and 56k should be illegal anyways.
-
So, only those who can afford High-Speed Internet should have access? Isn't that a bit unfair to the underprivelaged?
-
I kept that as a picture under the image tags, idk why it came like that.
EDIT: Here's how it looks for me.

Unless you are willing to code it, we probably won't do it.
if (there's image)
{replace it with url;
if (the font size used in
{change font size to 1;
}}DDD:)

I've had problems with long links stretching pages even with small font.
Although, it seems like ever since I upgraded the browser and use a bigger resolution I don't have the problem anymore. -

That's your choice really.
Have long links which wont take forever to load but stretches the page and the like, or have those links as images like how they should be and have a longer load time.
-
I think maybe the problem is someone didn't close a size tag after their font.
-
…
Maybe some people, I dunno, don't like displaying links as images? As in, some images on AP could get certain people in trouble while on the job?
Why would you browse these forums at work anyway

:ninja:
… to prepare in case of trolls and forum downtime?

@Cap'n:

Not from work, really, but from school; I've got two hour intervals in between classes from which I cannot go home, and with nothing more to study I go onto AP.
I've disabled images and increased both length to make everything run as smoothly as possible, as well as to downplay the fact that I'm visiting an anime forum (since, technically, non-school related stuff isn't allowed if there are people waiting for a computer).
To avoid images that could get me in trouble, like in the Gurren Lagann topic, I've collapsed everything as a precaution, and the preference doubles as a more efficient use of RAM - but when a URL is huge, it sort of negates that by making a topic tougher to scroll down.
If nothing can be done, I guess there's nothing more to discuss, then. :|
