Ooh, I noticed my previous message was erased. That's cool, I can always type it again. I'm not flaming anyone, I'm critiquing the work. Can I not do that?
1. On the last page, Zoro's name was misspelled as "Zorro". Not a big deal, just wanted to point it out.
2.A lot of the dialogue was basically copied off the script. I understand that to make sense, the script needs to be used as a reference, but you guys know that it is never ever translated into "perfect" English. The grammar of the japanese language rarely translates well, which is why I took effort to have it make more sense.
Those were my major hang ups, with both scanlations. I'm glad you guys cleaned up the manga, but no matter how nice it looks, it needs to make sense too…
(P.S. Do not erase my message again, or else I will complain to the administrator. All comments, negative or positive must be allowed.)

I always go for Kokotas' translation. Mainly just because that was the first one I read, and I like to be consistent, but they seem to be better than the occasional time I read another one.
That's right- I made a post in a scanlation topic without saying "Thanks" or "Good work" or anything like that. How fantastic is that?

First if you don't like the scans, their a simple solution on what to do.
Don't read it then, they scan and translate the work out of their own free will, they don't have to do it.Second I don't see you trying to do a scanlation.

Cool release ichiban, but this seems more like a solid MQ than an HQ. Some of the blacks aren't fully black, the whites still have dust in them. The script you used to clean screwed with the grays. They aren't re-done. Some of the FX aren't re-done either. And you guys didn't re-draw where it needed it.
still a good release though.
