OK guys hereÂ´s another thread based on my Romance Dawn research. I donÂ´t know about you guys, but ever since I saw the wanted posters from episode 45 (which were on FullbodyÂ´s wall) IÂ´ve always wondered if these guys were just some random creations by Oda or if there was more depth behind it.

So I started my own little research and hereÂ´s what I found out:

OK I guess we all know who Alvida, Buggy, Kuro, Krieg and Arlong are so no need to talk about them. Everybody who doesnÂ´t know about them, check www.ArlongPark.com you should find some info about them there. ;)

But the other guys on the wall are Wild Joe, Golass, Shupeal, D R and two guys I canÂ´t get the read the full names from. Could be Senna-Oyaji and Heiokut. IÂ´m not sure.

Well none the less. IÂ´ve been able to track some of these guys down.

Wild Joe appears in OdaÂ´s early work "Wanted". HeÂ´s the ghost who follows Gill Bastar the hero of that story.
Golass is the guy with the big sword from the first One Piece movie.
Shupeal is the main villain of Romance Dawn II.

Unfortunally thatÂ´s all I know so far. The other three guys are still a mystery to me. IÂ´m sure one of them was featured in "Monsters" the other in "Ikki Yakou". At least I believe that this Heiokut (or whatever his name is) was that demon from "Ikki Yakou" because itÂ´s pretty tough to recongnize him on the wanted poster.
The other two guys D R and Senna-Oyaji I know I havenÂ´t seen before. I havenÂ´t read "Monsters" so far, so I canÂ´t compare pictures.

Well all in all thatÂ´s what I found it. I thought I should share that with those guys who didnÂ´t know this buy now.
And of course to see if anybody here has some more info on those three remaining mystery characters.

So I hope that we can all together find out who these guys are. :)

That's awesome. I didn't know those guys had something to them. I saw the posters and didn't think much more into it.

Thanks for posting that pic KatanaJon. CanÂ´t do that myself. Glad you like my investigative work I did there. Now I hope somebody can clear up who those other three guys are. :)

OK guys, after a little more investigation IÂ´ve finally found out the definite names of the two guys I wasnÂ´t sure about in the opening post.

The names of these two characterÂ´s are Hitokiu and Henna-Oyaji. Thanks to the Loguetown episodes 48 and 50 I was able to get these names. Just thought I should mention that here. Though IÂ´m rather sceptic I hope that someone of you guys has heard one of these names somewhere before. :(

Henna-Oyaji is also on a poster in WANTED!

On page 6, next to Gill's poster. Although it looks like his name is spelled

"Henna-OyaGI"

Thanks for the info. Though it was not what I expected youÂ´ve definitely found him. :) Well that means thereÂ´s only two more guys to find. D R and Hitokui.

As I said IÂ´m sure that Hitokui is the demon from the third Wanted story "Ikki Yakou". In the german translated version, he has just been called "maneater" and since hito means human this could be it. Unfortunally I donÂ´t know what kui could mean. :(

Edit: Ok even though nobody seems to care I thought that IÂ´d just share the info that IÂ´ve found out who that DR dude is. HeÂ´s one of the villains from OdaÂ´s "Monsters".

Isn't "Hen na Oyaji" a reference to a Japanese comedian? Apparently Oda pays homage to him a couple of times.

Thanks for clearing that one up Darkariel. IÂ´ve just asked Oceanizer whether the german term "Menschenfresser" which means "meneater" somehow could be connected to Hitokui. Apparently it could.

_Really? DidnÂ´t know that. Thanks for the info. Well either way he appeared in one of OdaÂ´s works before the anime. So now that we have tracked all of them down it goes like this:

D R: One of the villains from "Monsters"

Hitokui: The demon from "Ikki Yakou"

Henna-Oyaji: Evil comedian that appeared on a wanted poster in "Wanted"

Shuppeal: Villain of Romance Dawn II

Wild Joe: That little ghost antagonist from "Wanted"

Golass: The big dude with the large sword from Movie 1

And just to complete the wanted posters :D :

Alvida: Fat pirate lady that appears in the first episode of the anime

Buggy: Main villain of the Buggy arc

Kuro: Main villain of the Kuro arc

Krieg: Main villain of the Krieg arc

Arlong: Main villain of the Arlong arc

Well thatÂ´s that. And since weÂ´ve tracked down so many Oda oneshot characters, then I should at least include the info in this thread that the main villain of the first Romance Dawn, Garry of the Crescent Moon appears in the Logue Town filler in episode 48. HeÂ´s the captain of the pirates that Smokers deals easily with.

So, case closed!_

Green Hair

This topic reminded of something I saw in Whiskey Peak. During their fight, Luffy and Zoro kicked each other and ended breaking the walls of nearby houses. Then Vivi and Carue went down the street. When they passed by some houses, we can see that camera is filming Vivi from inside one of them, and it shows a house wall that is filled with wanted posters. I was able to find this pic (sorry, it's not very good, but if anyone has found a better one, please post it):

I was able to make out the names of Golass, D R and a bit of something that might be Hitokui.

Yep those posters appear more often in the anime. In the Logue Town filler at the Bar Gold Roger thereÂ´s also some of them. But it is always the same posters that appeared first in FullbodyÂ´s "office" thatÂ´s why I left them out.
